It is a decent 3-star hotel located in the center of the town. The rooms are spacious and nice, but they are a bit worn down at the same time. The bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit basic, but they can make you an omelet on the spot, which is excellent, and good coffee as well. It maybe a bit pricey but for its 3 stars is pretty good without being pretentious.

Hotel Hoeltje is well-run hotel in a quiet street the centre of town.
The owner takes great pride in providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
We had a very spacious top floor room with a little balcony.
The staff at the reception is very welcoming, knowledgeable and always keen to help.
For breakfast the hotel offers a variety of cooked to order dishes, a choice of cold meats, cheeses, fruits and a selection of bread.
The breakfast staff is very friendly and helpful.
The hotel bar is a popular meeting point for both, locals and guests.
We will visit the hotel again

Do not recommend it at all for this price, no room service no swimming pool and no clean glasses.
Rude front desk, rooms in very bad conditions.
Small towels, awful breakfast. Mushy fruits and veg.
Insects in the rooms.
Smelly corridors. No clean sheets on request .
Better rooms are not given out.
Bottle of water for 2,80euro that's ridiculous.
Poor English, that's very bad for a hotel with 4.2rating.
Avoid!

Do not go there and waste your money on such a disappointment “hotel”.
Been there for a week with my partner, asked to clean the room after three days just to go straight after back down to reception to ask why the room haven’t been done.
Just to be told that they do not make the bed.
They just hoovered in there and that’s all not even clean glasses or sides wiped.
Breakfast is very poor! Fruits look like they’re old and mushy.
Porridge is not a porridge, please!
Only buns were nice with jam nothing else.
Lack of understanding at the front desk when trying to complain and get things sorted been jumped on with three females arguing with me that this is not true that we are lying about the service. When we mentioned we are going to make a complaint online and aware all people been given bottle of wine then the other lady wanted to take it back. It was a gift and then she tried to take it back.
Don’t even dream of a pool in there!
Is broken apparently they’re misssing bit to it! Not my problem change the price of the staying as it’s supposed to be included in the price at least mention on arrival that there are issues!
The towels are so little you can barely wrap yourself, not like I’m big.
I’m size 6 and still too small what a joke!

We used to stay here and always good service. Remember the lovely bar with a girl called ute Bernstein.

Nice hotel, great breakfast. Large room, but bathroom dated and noisy exhaust fan. Overall is good, like to stay here when visiting verden next time.

Lovely welcoming and quiet hotel. Great location with lovely view from balcony. Staff were kind enough to speak to me in English and their English was very good. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.

Very large and clean room. A VERY BIG and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Good location. Very helpful staff. Our very best recommendation.
