Ate dinner with a trip the food was sub par and cold. When we complained the waitress started screaming at us. So unprofessional, the manager fake apologized after asking him to about his waitress. Avoid the restaurant at all costs.

Came with tour group. One of the nicer hotels so far, decent dinner and breakfast buffets with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

I was for a week stationed here with my work. It was nice. The staff is very kind and helpful. It was great to be here and I recommend it!

Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

I felt warmly welcomed. Very convenient location (right opposite to the main train station) and so easy to find after arriving. Friendly staff. Inside there is a neat restaurant so you can have meals whenever you want. The room was tidy and well-organized. Recommended !

I spent a night here on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and super welcoming. Tue room was small but clean and nicely furnished. Unfortunately, my room was facing out front towards the street and the train station which was a little noisy starting at around 6:30-7am. I would recommend this Hotel though and also stay here again but I'd see that I can get a room in the back :)

I’d give this hotel 3-3.5 stars. My room was small, but it was arranged in a way that utilized the 10-square-meter space quite efficiently, so it didn’t feel claustrophobic. Well located across from the train station but a good 15 minutes walk to downtown Weimar. Hotel is clean and reasonably priced though not cheap. Rooms are fairly small. Major issue is with the elevator (there is only one) and the long wait, especially in the morning. Also bring your own soap and shampoo as none is provided.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and Weimar in general. We took a larger room, which was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Great value.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. I didn’t find a tea and coffee machine in the room, and the refrigerator didn’t work either. Otherwise, I liked it here.

The Hotel is round about 6km from the centre of weimar away. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel. The employees are friendly and professional. You can use a pool & a sauna nearly anytime. The breakfast buffet is good, with a good choice of foods. The rooms are clean, also they have a nice bar, prices for drinks or the dinner are okay.

The indoor pool was very nice, although at a fee. Pool is 1,35m deep. Room comes with amenities such as different types of tea and coffee. Breakfast is great, with bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, yoghurt with fruit and cereal, and more. Highly reccomend this for a night or two.

Cool hotel, love the design. Location is perfect. Only minus is service. The front desk was unwelcoming so was the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I don’t have high expectations for service in Germany but the staff at this hotel was especially sleepy and unwelcoming compared to other Marriott hotels I’ve stayed in Germany so far

The rooms were not really cleaned and very small. Dust flew around and some things were sticky. Matresses had stains and were uncomfortable and the sanitary facilities not really nice to use. The Breakfast was well and the Lobby was very welcoming. And despite some negative points from the rooms you really could enjoy your stay.

Although a bit far reaching from the city center, there is a bus stop situated directly in front of the hotel which makes it easy getting to town. Wonderful breakfast and great staff. The rooms were so thoughtfully done- you are in the heart of the city. Quiet, except our room looked out into the street and we had some really interesting dialogs throughout the night. The town seem to be yawning for visitors, but this is beautiful place to visit.

It was planned as a residential building from which the Weimar cityscape with formative architect Rudolf Zapfe was planned. Living there was like travelling back in time to Goethe's and Schiller's age. The place is ideal to go to all the museums nearby. A disadvantage is the parking house beneath the nearby Schiller Shopping Centre.
