Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

I felt warmly welcomed. Very convenient location (right opposite to the main train station) and so easy to find after arriving. Friendly staff. Inside there is a neat restaurant so you can have meals whenever you want. The room was tidy and well-organized. Recommended !

The room was a little small, but that makes sense because it is an old building. The service was great, especially for someone who doesn't speak German. There was a Christmas fair right across the street, which was so fun, and there were so many options for great food within walking distance. Also, there was super easy parking as well.

We stayed for 3 nights and it is a good hotel in a good location. We had planned to stay at a different hotel in Weimar but left after finding the room had bugs. Fantastic location right on the main town square and next to Bach's former residence. Rooms are wonderful, staff is very accomodating. Restaurant was very good and the overall experienced was all very high quality. Needless to say, a hotel with a great deal of history as well definitely worth staying in!

The hotel is much larger than it appears from the entrance and the public areas are nicely decorated and maintained. Drink prices in the bar are reasonable and breakfast choices are very good but expensive. Our superior room was large and furnished in keeping with the hotel and nearby Bauhaus principles. The town itself is spotless and a wonderful place to spend a couple of days.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and Weimar in general. We took a larger room, which was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Great value.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. Wonderful breakfast and great staff. The rooms were so thoughtfully done- you are in the heart of the city. Fantastic Service in a beautyful setting!!

Living there was like travelling back in time to Goethe's and Schiller's age. The place is ideal to go to all the museums nearby. A disadvantage is the parking house beneath the nearby Schiller Shopping Centre.

A magical, small, idyllic country hotel. We came with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised: an almost enchanted garden, the rooms spacious, clean and very quiet. After I went there without any expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. A small, fine country hotel with a lot of peace and quiet around it. Very unfriendly, very aloof. The hotel's decor is somewhat reminiscent of the GDR era. The beer from the vending machine could only be removed with considerable force.

The room is clean and tidy, the scenery outside is as beautiful as an oil painting, breakfast must be ordered, it is delicious, opposite the hotel is a super large park, the scenery along the way to the city is so beautiful, I will stay in this hotel next time I go to Weimar

The outside environment is very quiet

The room is a standard double room, very clean! There is a big park outside the hotel, and it is great to take a walk and enjoy the scenery! It takes more than 10 minutes to walk from the city center, and through the big park is the city center. The ground in the city center is paved with stones, which is quite simple and elegant. I highly recommend staying in this hotel when you come to Weimar

I didn’t find a tea and coffee machine in the room, and the refrigerator didn’t work either. Otherwise, I liked it here.

The Hotel is round about 6km from the centre of weimar away. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel. The employees are friendly and professional. You can use a pool & a sauna nearly anytime. The breakfast buffet is good, with a good choice of foods. The rooms are clean, also they have a nice bar, prices for drinks or the dinner are okay.

The indoor pool was very nice, although at a fee. Pool is 1,35m deep. Room comes with amenities such as different types of tea and coffee. Breakfast is great, with bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, yoghurt with fruit and cereal, and more. Highly reccomend this for a night or two.

Great hotel, modern and elegant, well located for many tourist sites, lovely staff, good breakfast if slightly pricey. It has proper bathrooms (the bathrooms at two other "premium" hotels I stayed at in Germany just had glass doors and walls). Would happily return to the Dorint.

Good to stay but i encourage you to stay in single private rooms, never with dorm if you are not Student in order to reduce the price but not sleeping 😌

A beautiful and lovingly restored hotel, situated just a short walk from the center of the old town. Breakfast was varied with many options to choose from. We enjoyed the large sauna after a day of sight seeing! We will definitely be back!

Given the price paid, the value was unbeatable. Yes, the property is not the newest, but it is clean and well maintained. Furniture somewhat worn but functional. The comfortable bed which had a quality mattress was a pleasant surprise. Balcony had a nice view. Of course, there is room for improvement, but at 63EUR including breakfast, it was beyond my expectations.

The accommodation is located in the center of Weimar, near Frauenplan and the market square. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is sufficient and tasty. It is not suitable for people who need an elevator!

Unfortunately, we were not offered a parking space in the courtyard, although it was empty. After a long search we found something 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The next morning we were greeted very unfriendly for breakfast. I don't have to have something like that on vacation. Unfortunately, such behavior of the well-known lady destroys the positive impression of the hotel.
