Cool hotel, love the design. Location is perfect. Only minus is service. The front desk was unwelcoming so was the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I don’t have high expectations for service in Germany but the staff at this hotel was especially sleepy and unwelcoming compared to other Marriott hotels I’ve stayed in Germany so far

Very convenient location to restaurants and a REWE. Clean large suite with amenities including bathrobe and slippers, mini-fridge, coffee/tea. Reception personal courteous and helpful. The only drawback is parking, which is only 100 m away but costs 25 E/day.

We had a nice, large room. Due to corona restaurant, pool and spa were closed and there were only few timeslots for breakfast. Bathroom looked a little bit dated, but we didn't have to wait long for warm water. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was planned as a residential building from which the Weimar cityscape with formative architect Rudolf Zapfe was planned. A beautiful and lovingly restored hotel, situated just a short walk from the center of the old town. Breakfast was varied with many options to choose from. We enjoyed the large sauna after a day of sight seeing! We will definitely be back!

Great hotel, modern and elegant, well located for many tourist sites, lovely staff, good breakfast if slightly pricey. It has proper bathrooms (the bathrooms at two other "premium" hotels I stayed at in Germany just had glass doors and walls). Would happily return to the Dorint.

Tolles, gepflegtes Hotel mit sehr guter Küche! Sehr schön eingerichtet und auch und ganz besonders für Familien sehr nett! Für die Kleinen gibt es ganz entspannt eine tollen Spielraum. Die Dachterasse ist sehr zu empfehlen ob zum Frühstück, Kaffee oder zum Wein! Wir kommen wieder und das schon bald.

Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

I felt warmly welcomed. Very convenient location (right opposite to the main train station) and so easy to find after arriving. Friendly staff. Inside there is a neat restaurant so you can have meals whenever you want. The room was tidy and well-organized. Recommended !

I spent a night here on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and super welcoming. Tue room was small but clean and nicely furnished. Unfortunately, my room was facing out front towards the street and the train station which was a little noisy starting at around 6:30-7am. I would recommend this Hotel though and also stay here again but I'd see that I can get a room in the back :)

The Hotel is round about 6km from the centre of weimar away. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel. The employees are friendly and professional. You can use a pool & a sauna nearly anytime. The breakfast buffet is good, with a good choice of foods. The rooms are clean, also they have a nice bar, prices for drinks or the dinner are okay.

My 2nd time here and still like it very much, rooms are nice but the beds could been more comfortable and cleaning on some places like wallsockets needs improvement. Breakfast very good, good coffee as well wich is not that often one finds in Germany unfortunately. Great location in a calm neighborhood near the park and only 15 min walk to the center. We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Sonja Müller. From Nohra, you can explore Thuringia very well thanks to the good transport connections. The rooms are very well furnished and the breakfast was sufficient and varied. The pension is very recommendable.

The accommodation is located in the center of Weimar, near Frauenplan and the market square. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is sufficient and tasty. It is not suitable for people who need an elevator!

Unfortunately, we were not offered a parking space in the courtyard, although it was empty. After a long search we found something 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The next morning we were greeted very unfriendly for breakfast. I don't have to have something like that on vacation. Unfortunately, such behavior of the well-known lady destroys the positive impression of the hotel.

Fantastic Service in a beautyful setting!!

Living there was like travelling back in time to Goethe's and Schiller's age. The place is ideal to go to all the museums nearby. A disadvantage is the parking house beneath the nearby Schiller Shopping Centre.
