Perfectly fine typical German provincial Hotel. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

I felt warmly welcomed. Very convenient location (right opposite to the main train station) and so easy to find after arriving. Friendly staff. Inside there is a neat restaurant so you can have meals whenever you want. The room was tidy and well-organized. Recommended !

The room was a little small, but that makes sense because it is an old building. The service was great, especially for someone who doesn't speak German. There was a Christmas fair right across the street, which was so fun, and there were so many options for great food within walking distance. Also, there was super easy parking as well.

We stayed for 3 nights and it is a good hotel in a good location. We had planned to stay at a different hotel in Weimar but left after finding the room had bugs. The Elefant was slightly more expensive but the jr suite was very comfortable. The bed was very comfy and they have foam cervical pillows that were great for us. Er slept well. Fantastic location right on the main town square and next to Bach's former residence. Rooms are wonderful, staff is very accomodating. Restaurant was very good and the overall experienced was all very high quality. Needless to say, a hotel with a great deal of history as well definitely worth staying in!

The hotel is much larger than it appears from the entrance and the public areas are nicely decorated and maintained. Drink prices in the bar are reasonable and breakfast choices are very good but expensive. Our superior room was large and furnished in keeping with the hotel and nearby Bauhaus principles. The town itself is spotless and a wonderful place to spend a couple of days.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to visit the old town of Wiemar. I was in town for two days for work and had a great stay. The room is large and comfortable. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and Weimar in general. We took a larger room, which was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Great value.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. Stayed at a very spacious Junior Suite with "town view". We liked the slight nostalgia of our rooms and felt the historic ambiance of this special place. Living there was like travelling back in time to Goethe's and Schiller's age. The place is ideal to go to all the museums nearby. A disadvantage is the parking house beneath the nearby Schiller Shopping Centre.

A magical, small, idyllic country hotel. We came with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised: an almost enchanted garden, the rooms spacious, clean and very quiet. After I went there without any expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. A small, fine country hotel with a lot of peace and quiet around it. The room was absolutely fine, I could hardly hear the small fridge, I filled it. Since I was on a business trip, I was able to relax here in the evenings. It was a cheap dormitory (shared room), so I would say the facilities were adequate considering the price. The towels and bedsheets were well made and clean. It's about a 15-minute walk from Weimar Station on the other side of the bustling area. I was nervous at first about being in a shared room, but it was no problem at all. I think the cleanliness of the room depends on the manners of your roommate...

Sensational! We wanted to celebrate a bachelor party and were looking for affordable accommodation. The suite exceeded all of our expectations... Booking: 1a! Equipment: 1a! Equipment: 1a! Service: 1a! And the absolutely central location cannot be topped... Parking for 12 euros per night in the multi-storey car park at the train station, so that's no problem either. We will be back!!!

Very well equipped rooms. Big plus is the bathroom! Check-in went smoothly. The surrounding houses will certainly be renovated in the next few years. Otherwise the atmosphere would be a bit uncomfortable. One point of criticism, however, is the cleanliness. Areas have only been roughly dusted. The carpet doesn't look good anymore. Nevertheless, one could feel good.

We came as a family of 3 and stayed only 1 night. Therefore the location of the hotel was perfect. We walked all over town and had a great time. The room was spacious and very comfortable. They don’t supply tissues it seems, nor did I see a kettle, but that’s of no consequence. A small amount of water escaped under the shower door seal but also not a big deal. Short walk to train station, tram and to all the things you’d want to go to in the old town.

Mercure is as reliable as always. It is located in the center of the old town, very convenient to the Old Bridge, the Cathedral and the Town Hall. Parking is also convenient. The service at the front desk is particularly warm and professional, great.

While we were there the hotel was under construction. It was also extremely hot. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. We were damned if we did and damned if we didn't. Noise or die from the heat....we went with the heat.

Lacking air in the current heat and with windows that do not fully open, it was a bit warm. Otherwise, this was perfect.

Rooms and basic but very clean and have a free stocked mini bar. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as the parking is terrible, very small and usually full so you have to use public parking.

The staffs are friendly and willing to give helps. Jena is the first city we visit among the three cities of our journey in Germany, and the stays at B&B Jena was the best experience of our three accommodations.

The family room was spacious and clean, and had a TV. The breakfast was solid but not extraordinary. The location is outside of the city centre but walkable.

I stayed overnight in Jena in this B&B Hotel. The hotel was easy to reach and the parking lot had lots of space. The check-In via the terminal was easy. An online prior to arrival check-in was suggested (and i did those in a different B&B hotel), but i wanted to try the terminal option. Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!

the hotel is quite nice, with good connectivity to the Erfurt railway station (HBF), and a tram stop nearby. I actually walked to the hotel from railway station. the rooms are good and comfortable.

Very good hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. Although the furniture is fully functional, it could be invested in a new and modern one, because it reminds of the times from the previous state. Accommodation prices are roughly the same as in the city center, although the hotel is a few kilometers away from the center. Meals are big and of high quality.

The hotel is located in an exhibition area in Erfurt, next to a large supermarket and a small Vietnamese restaurant. There is an S-Bahn station in front of the hotel. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for a fee. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but several of the service staff in the restaurant did not seem particularly friendly...

It is very beautiful Christmas in the night days that we spent in the Hotel and in Erfurt. At the evening Dinner there were actually six dishes to choose from - there was something for everyone. The Breakfast buffet selection, coffee was in the thermos, and the vending machine rich offered available, even a daily newspaper was available. We will be back!
