I had a good experience at Leonardo Hotel. A little far from the city centre, but perfectly connected with bus no. 1. The bed was very comfortable. I would only suggest adding some English channels/the possibility of adding English subtitles on TV for non-German speakers. Very unfriendly, very aloof. The hotel's decor is somewhat reminiscent of the GDR era. The beer from the vending machine could only be removed with considerable force.

Nice a bit outside Erfurt. I've stayed here many times on business trips; can't complain! They even have a charger for EV cars, which is nice (costs I think €20 per charge, but was nice to have to charge my car overnight).

The hotel appeared to be fully booked. There weren't enough parking spaces, nor were there enough places for breakfast. This resulted in unnecessary waiting times. However, the staff were consistently friendly and tried to resolve the situation.

I stayed at this hotel during my business visit around Christmas time. Visited Christmas market nearby. The view from the hotel room was amazing. Room is quite modern with all the latest gadgets and electrical control of ambience light and blinds. Staff was friendly at reception and at the terrace bar. This is probably the Best hotel in Jena.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly from reception, to breakfast, and even the cleaning staff. And the facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Would stay there again.

We had a fabulous junior suite, a comfortable, good-sized room. However, there was no privacy for the bathroom area.

Wonderful hotel, just a few steps away from the old city. The sauna with the view above the rooms of Erfurt is really amazing. The only thing I have to blame is the absence of air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed during one of the warmest days this year with 36oC and the night was really difficult.

Mercure is as reliable as always. It is located in the center of the old town, very convenient to the Old Bridge, the Cathedral and the Town Hall. Parking is also convenient. The service at the front desk is particularly warm and professional, great.

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel while attending a conference. Our room was elegant and comfortable (and equipped with a great balcony) and the staff were friendly and helpful. Receptionist was quite nice. The room was furnished with furniture from the 80s and 90s. Instead of a queen bed, there were two single beds in the room. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Hair and fingerprints and even urine stains on the toilet.

It exceeded expectations for a budget hotel. Staff interaction was always friendly. The room was clean. It was odd that there was no refrigerator in the room. I stayed multiple times and the room type was different each time. The mini bar in the business room is free. But in other room types, you still need to ask the front desk if the mini bar is free. The breakfast is quite rich.
