Ate dinner with a trip the food was sub par and cold. When we complained the waitress started screaming at us. So unprofessional, the manager fake apologized after asking him to about his waitress. Avoid the restaurant at all costs.

Came with tour group. One of the nicer hotels so far, decent dinner and breakfast buffets with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

We had a good sized with balcony and air conditioning which found the high temperature (30°+) quite challenging. Nevertheless it was welcome. I didn’t find a tea and coffee machine in the room, and the refrigerator didn’t work either. Otherwise, I liked it here.

The Hotel is round about 6km from the centre of weimar away. A bus station is directly in front of the hotel. The employees are friendly and professional. You can use a pool & a sauna nearly anytime. The breakfast buffet is good, with a good choice of foods. The rooms are clean, also they have a nice bar, prices for drinks or the dinner are okay.

The indoor pool was very nice, although at a fee. Pool is 1,35m deep. Room comes with amenities such as different types of tea and coffee. Breakfast is great, with bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, yoghurt with fruit and cereal, and more. Highly reccomend this for a night or two.

Great hotel, modern and elegant, well located for many tourist sites, lovely staff, good breakfast if slightly pricey. It has proper bathrooms (the bathrooms at two other "premium" hotels I stayed at in Germany just had glass doors and walls). Would happily return to the Dorint.

My 2nd time here and still like it very much, rooms are nice but the beds could been more comfortable and cleaning on some places like wallsockets needs improvement. It was planned as a residential building from which the Weimar cityscape with formative architect Rudolf Zapfe was planned. Cool hotel, love the design. Location is perfect. Only minus is service. The front desk was unwelcoming so was the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I don’t have high expectations for service in Germany but the staff at this hotel was especially sleepy and unwelcoming compared to other Marriott hotels I’ve stayed in Germany so far

Perfect location to visit Weimar or the surrounding areas.. Two castles 25 minutes away.. Fairy Land and Caverns 1 hour away.. Excellent service and hospitality..

Our room was very nice and roomy. Staff is very kind. A bit of a language bearer, but that was expected, "Mein Deutch ist nicht gut." The restaurant on site was wonderful, excellent food.
