Stayed at a very spacious Junior Suite with "town view". We liked the slight nostalgia of our rooms and felt the historic ambiance of this special place. The staff had been incredible attentive and we noticed that several of their guests were addressed by their names, indicating a true hospitality. We travelled over the the Easter period and indeed, the entire hotel had been decorated accordingly in the most beautiful manner. The breakfast had been sumptuous with our service being super attentive. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and the main attractions can be reached in less than 5 minutes walking distance.

Overall it was our pleasant stay. We liked it. Only thing, I thought it would have been a coffee machine in my room.

perfect location, wonderful hospitality, great for kids, delicious breakfast. and most of all comfortable. they helped me make a great concert in Weimar. Bravo to the Russischer Hof.

No respect for privacy.
I stayed for two nights for a concert I was giving in Weimar and the first morning was woken at 9:15 by someone ringing on the door. They rang again, putting keys in the door and asked if the mini fridge had been used. The second morning I ensured I had ‘Do not disturb’ hanging on the door so I could rest and was woken by hotel staff unlocking the door to my room whilst I was sleeping! At 9am!
The reception said that their hotel staff had found the ‘please clean my room’ sign hanging, so I don’t want to put blame on someone in case another guest in the hotel played a joke. However as general hotel policy it is not acceptable to be sending staff to ring on doors still during breakfast hours if they haven’t checked out.
This is completely unacceptable and disturbing.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels of different stars in different countries and have never been disturbed before check-out time (11am) during my stay. This is a basic courtesy to guests’ privacy and need for rest.
Unfortunately when complaining to reception I just received a ‘es tut uns leid’ and then she tried to make it seem like it was my fault for not putting the chain on.

Amazing hotel, it's like staying in a museum! It's full of history. The breakfast is amazing, with a great selection of the finest foods and the rooms are nicely done

Very convenient location to restaurants and a REWE. Clean large suite with amenities including bathrobe and slippers, mini-fridge, coffee/tea. Reception personal courteous and helpful. The only drawback is parking, which is only 100 m away but costs 25 E/day.

The hotel is very nice and placed conveniently in the center of Weimar, close to the sightseeing areas. The hotel is very well kept and rooms are spacious and quiet. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.

Excellent location, nice restaurant in hotel and the staff are well trained and very kind. We stay here while my husband receives medical care in Bad Berka. I feel safe walking in the area and the hotel is in the center of everything you need.
