first of all, we were upgraded to an apartment, which was unexpected.

An absolute insider tip on Sylt. Beautiful newly renovated small cozy rooms. Everything you need is available. Sauna, tea room nice big garden..... We will come back in any case

The special luxury that the Friesenhof has in store is the huge garden, "park" is actually more apt! It has become even more beautiful thanks to its bright, newly created paths, which not only lead into the garden but also to the newly renovated apartments with their tasteful "porthole doors"

In 2015 I was on Sylt for the first time for a rehabilitation measure concerning my skin. At that time I fell in love with the island and later with the "Friesenhof"

In my opinion, anyone who can afford to have such a huge property ready for their guests - especially on Sylt - can only be a fantastic host

I have stayed there several times and have always felt very comfortable, no matter where I was staying

I will always be happy to come back to the Friesenhof, if the Rohde family and God want it

Slots for sauna instead of 2 hour have gone to 1 hour 15 min, which is ridiculous

Excellent and friendly service, cosy atmosphere, would definitely recommend and visit again.

Following proposals for improvement : - safe deposit box too low in cupboard, should have numbers lock - room 310 was at times a bit noisy because we could hear the kitchen ventilator - breakfast was very good, dinners were disappointing - bar was cold and drinks were old fashioned Otherwise nice stay and very friendly staff

Generally not the usual Lindner hotel standard. Great breakfast hours, nice welcoming in room with welcome snack and drink. Also they should mention that there is a big construction going on in front of their hotel

Minibar at fair prices - you are happy to help yourself! Great beach right nearby, you can end the evening on the promenade. Simply great! :) Nice restaurants and bars are within walking distance

Small but nice hotel in the best location to the beach. Great atmosphere, nice modern rooms, very good breakfast buffet, great value for money. Direct bike and e-scooter rental at the house

After our originally booked holiday apartment turned out to be damp and moldy, we were lucky enough to find accommodation at the Hotel Hansa at very short notice

Our room was big, we didn't expect that! The hotel has a small swimming pool and a sauna, and wellness services are also possible. Breakfast was great, great variety. The breakfast ladies were very nice!

I loved everything about it! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sylt. We had a suite, with a nice lounge and decent sized bathroom. The room wasn't that big, but totally fine

They did have some light meals to order from the bar and there are a couple of great restaurants just down the road, so not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if visiting during Covid

The location is perfect!!! Due to Covid the restaurant wasn't open in the evenings, which was only an issue the one night we wanted to stay in

Wallner is a specialist and makes the best service and the best drinks / cocktails. It simply belongs to the hotel! The Rungholt is also very courteous towards our four-legged friends, who we always have with us

In the evening as well as at breakfast, our dogs are included in the planning so that we have enough space at (under the) table for them and can take them with us

We've liked to stop by for breakfast for ages. The old atmosphere may not appeal to new guests, but we enjoy it. Many sunken memories of wild stays in Kampen are nostalgically raised at breakfast

A great view from the terrace over the beach hood to the sea. The oysters are super fresh, the food is top quality and the service is friendly and professional. Be sure to reserve in advance...
