Staff were aware but offered no solution, which was frustrating. Dog-Friendliness: The website shows a large poodle with a comfy dog bed and bowls waiting at arrival, but this didn’t reflect reality

Scrambled and hard-boiled eggs were part of the buffet, and you could order a specialty egg dish if you preferred. Vibe & Location: The hotel clearly had a luxurious past

We booked breakfast and could eat it at the hotel! Everyone, especially the hosts, were very friendly and accommodating! Everything was Corona compliant and made it very easy for guests to have breakfast or dinner in the evening! It worked out great! Parking spaces are available right at the Friesenhaus! The apartment was big enough for the two of us! Just watch out for the sloping roof in the bedroom...

Here the holiday starts with the booking. From the reception to the restaurant service and room service - everyone was very friendly and polite. The rooms are very nicely decorated and you immediately feel at home

The breakfast buffet leaves much to be desired. You can also have a snack in the winter garden in a pleasant atmosphere. We visit Wenningstedt almost every year, but unfortunately never Sylt

The special luxury that the Friesenhof has in store is the huge garden, "park" is actually more apt! It has become even more beautiful thanks to its bright, newly created paths, which not only lead into the garden but also to the newly renovated apartments with their tasteful "porthole doors"

In 2015 I was on Sylt for the first time for a rehabilitation measure concerning my skin. At that time I fell in love with the island and later with the "Friesenhof"

Stayed in a suite with balcony, the room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, quite large & well equipped with everything we needed

In my opinion, anyone who can afford to have such a huge property ready for their guests - especially on Sylt - can only be a fantastic host

I loved everything about it! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sylt. We had a suite, with a nice lounge and decent sized bathroom. The room wasn't that big, but totally fine

They did have some light meals to order from the bar and there are a couple of great restaurants just down the road, so not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if visiting during Covid

Wallner is a specialist and makes the best service and the best drinks / cocktails. It simply belongs to the hotel! The Rungholt is also very courteous towards our four-legged friends, who we always have with us
