We stayed there for 5 days. The prices are quite fair for what it offers at the time of this review. Rooms are in form of double room suits with 2 beds and incorporated kitchen with microwave, small frige, cutlery and plates washing machine. Great location for where I need to be. Friendly staff and no complaints about the hotel.

The hotel itself is very good, the only thing that I didn't like was the extortionate price that we were charged for filling up our water bottles.

Incredible hotel for the price. The room was out of this world, more like a mini apartment than a hotel. The breakfast was great, so much variety and all good quality and tasty. Excellent staff, all so welcoming and warm. The location as well, absolutely magnificent. Peaceful and beautiful. I'm already thinking of excuses to come again.

Excellent service at the hotel, reception was very helpful. The resturant had good food and excelent room service, easy to order to the room. Good standard and very clean. The hotel location is perfect, walking dostance to the center but still a bit on it’s own with beautiful walkways along the rhein and quiet area around the hotel. Bonus: very good bartender that made excellent drinks.

A lovely country hotel, a bit old fashioned but still very comfortable and clean. The service was excellent, such friendly and helpful staff. The Wellness area is nice with a variety of saunas. A bit dated compared to other Wellness resorts but still very nice.

Super nice hosts although we arrived very late (11:50 p.m.) due to traffic jams. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The price was also more than fair. If we are in the vicinity again we like to rent there again 🙂

Cumfy room, Hosts helpful and very Good Breakfast, even supplied Gluten Free Bread for me.

After a day tour around Bislich, we stopped here for a cool drink and cake. Although the beer garden was almost closed, we were warmly welcomed and were able to take a breather in peace before we started our way home. The beer garden is very hidden in the inner courtyard, but it's really worth looking around the corner twice. Very cozy and beautiful !!

Great venue for functions, good food, friendly staff

So far the closest location to the Rhine River. I got lucky and got upgraded to a room with view. Definitely a place to visit. Perfect place to stop also if you are a biker or just want to have a nice lunch either in the restaurant or the terrace. If you are staying over night clearly you have to visit Xanten. Great value! Place was fine for our simple needs and conveniently near the Rhein/EV 15.

Clean and good sized room. Nobody at desk overnight but not an issue. No shampoo or body wash in the shower fyi. Breakfast was great with boiled egg fresh wurst fresh bread.

I've spent about a month at this family owned hotel. Even though it's a quiet location (exactly my preference), within walking distance you can reach everything important. The family running the hotel is very nice and flexible if the guests have special requests. Really made me feel at home. Looking forward to my next stay there!

Perfect country feeling in this quiet hotel. The nature is so close in all directions, if you really want to relax in this area this is the perfect place to do it. Probably the best place to stay in the vicinity. I spent a few weeks here and it was just amazing. Shops / restaurants are in 5-10 min walking distance in the lovely town of Xanten. The owners of the hotel were so friendly and welcoming that at the end of my stay I felt like I'm part of the family. I will definitely visit again.

I have spent here several weeks and I enjoyed my stay. It's a family run hotel where people are kind and take care of everything. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, the area is calm. However the hotel is in the outskirt of Xanten it's easy to walk into the city center within 20 minutes. To stay here is highly recommended.

It was truly AMAZING! We stayed there because our car broke down but everything exceeded my expectations. The hosts even made breakfast earlier for us. Truly amazing experience

Really easy check in on the machine outside. The cycling facilities were excellent; secure garage and the best bike pump I have ever used :) Nice connected room for two groups of two.

The room was well equipped, the bed was big and comfortable. There was coffee and tea with a kettle in the room. It was really very good for a business overnight stay.

Its a nice concept with no service, no reception. Everything works smooth with ATM like checkin machine. Small rooms with just enough space for a bed and a small table. Can not complain. The rooms are very clean. Opposite is a super market and the city centre is within walking distance.

Very nice hotel we liked our stay. When we are in Xanten again we surrely want to stay in this hotel again. After a walk around the village looking for a restaurant we decided to have diner at the hotelrestaurant, because the menu looked the best. We were glad with our decision. The food was great. Excellent value town centre hotel and good breakfast

The quality of food was quite good and the menu had some interesting dishes. The service was very fast despite a busy evening at the restaurant and quite friendly as well. Didn't like the fact that you need to pay extra for ordering vegetables instead of potatoes.

Stay every year in Xanten. Bledi and family who own the hotel are magnificent. They offer top class service and "moma's" cooking is wonderful. The rooms have been updated over the last few years but it still keeps the unique historic feel, but far more comfortable. You will enjoy the stay here. Xanten is also a cool place to visit.

A business trip where Myself and friends were treated like royalty by Bledi, his mother, and staff. Rooms were extremely comfortable with the quiet calmness of a library throughout the building. Restaurant is tops and we were treated to a spectacularly special dinner made by Mother herself. On site parking is limited, but public parking is actually easier and directly across the street. Beautiful church...
