A lovely country hotel, a bit old fashioned but still very comfortable and clean. The service was excellent, such friendly and helpful staff. The Wellness area is nice with a variety of saunas. A bit dated compared to other Wellness resorts but still very nice.

Spacious rooms with nicely renovated bathrooms but unfortunately without air conditioning. Tiny TV. Breakfast buffet offers lots of variations. Best feature is the spa area with lots of saunas and indoor as well as outdoor pools. Friendly staff and free parking.

Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen is a great property, this hotel provides a very relaxing atmosphere. We had a lovely stay (3 days in Summer) The hotel is offering different styles of accommodation and activities – and serving also vegetarian food! The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, but not very comfortable pillows though. The balcony was a reasonable size with a lovely green view. The bathroom has a rain shower and a hand shower. The breakfast was good with hot options being cooked to order. The sauna area is attractive, a variety of saunas, pool, and relaxation. There are comfortable lounge chairs, inside and in the beautiful garden. It is well worth booking a few beauty treatments too. You can tell they are taking health precautions seriously, and that is a huge comfort. Although we heard the train very well in our room at night, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning.
