Where to stay in Wesel

I stayed here 5 years ago and had a great experience. This time was not so good because work was being conducted on the roof above my room to install solar panels. I changed rooms but the crane still started early in the morning so woke me up early. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Maria on the bar was extremely nice and mixed a great gin and tonic. Burger night on Tuesday was good too.

Great place for family with children. Lots of places for entertaining: playgrounds nearby, swimming pool complex indoor and outdoor, walking along the river…

Little bit dated, but good price-performance. Both mattrasses very hard, although in pretty good shape.

Very noisy all night Very friendly staff. Bad points: No aircon in the room! Very,very noisy outside hotel. Every 10min cargo ships pass hotel all night ! No any chance to sleep.

We enjoyed our stay in a spacious, modern and newly-furnished room on level three - it was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. The staff serving dinner were friendly, and the hotel also helped us store our bicycles in a safe place indoors during our stay. It's worth noting that the sauna is €5 extra, but that included slippers, a bathrobe and a bottle of water, so I thought it was fair. Overall...

Nice views, dinner and staff! but the rooms were pretty outdated. Humidity smell in the room was not great.

Overpriced. Generally the price would not match the value the hotel provides. The hotel itself has great potential, however the cleanliness was lacking. The sauna facilities were great. Team meeting with larger group. FOod was good in the buffet and also breakfast. Rooms lack of ventilation and or airconditioning system that is....well "mildly" outdated in 2025. Saunas are.....well not saunas in the meaning that are developed and made in Finland. Maasauna does not have a "kiuas" or a stove to through water on but a "fireplace" and its....well mildly hot.....have ever seen this in...

So far the closest location to the Rhine River. I got lucky and got upgraded to a room with view. Definitely a place to visit. Perfect place to stop also if you are a biker or just want to have a nice lunch either in the restaurant or the terrace. If you are staying over night clearly you have to visit Xanten. I've spent about a month at this family owned hotel. Even though it's a quiet location (exactly my preference), within walking distance you can reach everything important. The family running the hotel is very nice and flexible if the guests have special requests. Really made me feel at home. Looking forward to my next stay there!

Perfect country feeling in this quiet hotel. The nature is so close in all directions, if you really want to relax in this area this is the perfect place to do it. Probably the best place to stay in the vicinity. I spent a few weeks here and it was just amazing. Shops / restaurants are in 5-10 min walking distance in the lovely town of Xanten. The owners of the hotel were so friendly and welcoming that at the end of my stay I felt like I'm part of the family. I will definitely visit again.

I have spent here several weeks and I enjoyed my stay. It's a family run hotel where people are kind and take care of everything. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean, the area is calm. However the hotel is in the outskirt of Xanten it's easy to walk into the city center within 20 minutes. To stay here is highly recommended.

It was truly AMAZING! We stayed there because our car broke down but everything exceeded my expectations. The hosts even made breakfast earlier for us. Truly amazing experience

Good assistance when we had problems!

Really easy check in on the machine outside. The cycling facilities were excellent; secure garage and the best bike pump I have ever used :) Nice connected room for two groups of two.

A nice modern room. Clean and quiet area. Contactless check-in works great. Parking at the house, a short walk to town. Gladly again.

The room was well equipped, the bed was big and comfortable. There was coffee and tea with a kettle in the room. It was really very good for a business overnight stay.

Its a nice concept with no service, no reception. Everything works smooth with ATM like checkin machine. Small rooms with just enough space for a bed and a small table. Can not complain. The rooms are very clean. Opposite is a super market and the city centre is within walking distance.

Very nice, small and lovingly furnished bed and breakfast hotel in the city of Xanten. Quite small but nice rooms. The boss is super nice. Very good breakfast. There is a small inner courtyard that invites you to linger on a beautiful summer evening. Gladly again!

Very nice and friendly hotel! Reception was kind and helpful, the room spacious and beds are good. Cushions are very soft, if that's not your style, ask for firm or bring your own. Typical German: Carpet everywhere! What's strange is the tourist tax, you will need to pay that cash. Card is only possible for your reservation. Parking is possible on the adjacent (paid) parking lot, but there are not...

A basic room with no tea/coffee in the rooms. Continental breakfast is good.

The location was perfect, the on-site parking was good, the staff were very welcoming and the room was large, quiet and clean.

Very nice hotel we liked our stay. When we are in Xanten again we surrely want to stay in this hotel again. After a walk around the village looking for a restaurant we decided to have diner at the hotelrestaurant, because the menu looked the best. We were glad with our decision. The food was great. Good taste elegant presentation. Nice service.

Excellent value town centre hotel and good breakfast

The quality of food was quite good and the menu had some interesting dishes. The service was very fast despite a busy evening at the restaurant and quite friendly as well. Didn't like the fact that you need to pay extra for ordering vegetables instead of potatoes.

Excellent hotel from start to finish.

My Husband booked me a night away alone in this hotel, child free as a Christmas Present. All I can say is what a beautiful experience! The staff from the moment I checked in were extremely helpful and spoke English after noticing I struggled talking German ( I tried) The room was stunning. I had a beautiful relaxing bath in the gorgeous bathroom then a whole night of uninterrupted sleep. The bed...

We did not avail ourselves of the hotel but had lunch in its restaurant, Ristorante Vittorio. The last time I ate here, almost 40 years, the restaurant still featured German cuisine; now it is Italian. The food was very tasty: I had the linguini with sea food, and not only was the dish well prepared, it did not stint on the sea food. Highly recommended.

Always happy...I always see an update in the room...a great development...like hostels, only the business people stay at the hotel. Great service, the restaurant in the hotel is also highly recommended. The Churchill Lounge, of course, is always a pleasure.

The Hotel van Bebber has a great atmosphere. The almost historic building has a special flair. The rooms are all modern and at least my room had a large bathroom. The breakfast really left nothing to be desired. Friendly and helpful staff round off the positive impression.

What a wonderful ambience! A highly motivated family and team! Fantastic cuisine (fantastic starter platter and an even better surf and turf), with an excellent wine pairing. The crowning glory was the cigar lounge!!

It was a business dinner outside of Bocholt. The food is ok. Mixed salad is good but rumsteak is so so. It is convenient that the hotel has its own restaurant.

An extraordinary dinner with exceptionally hospitable people! This menu, created especially for our small group, is one of the best I have eaten so far. If you are looking for something exceptionally good: here he is at the right address!

The mattress felt new, and the pillows were just the right firmness for me. I also liked that the shower had a constant water temperature — a small but important thing. Overall, everything was as described, or maybe slightly better.

Spacious, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful decor. Located close to markets, pharmacies and other shops. Hearty and high-quality breakfast. The hotel does not have a room with three single beds available.

(+) I guess it is a good hotel, if you come for business or for personal purpose in Bocholt. Breakfast is good, rooms are spacious and well decorated, safe box, laundry service, big parking, 5 min walk from a supermarket and 5-7 min walk from the railway and bus station. (-) One of my days was not pleasant in the morning, when a lady from morning service asked me not so friendly about my room number...

Wow - just arrived here and have to say: what great service! People pay attention to the details, are quick and attentive. The food of the restaurant was delicious and the room is clean. I like the bathtub - you guys make me a good evening here.

Small rooms but they have everything you need. Newer hotel so everything was clean and fresh looking. Staff was great! The hotels don't have ironing boards though... but we figured out a solution.

Clean, affordable, very friendly girl behind the reception. Only pity is lights in room which work by sensor. Not nice when 1 person goes to the toilet at night and the other is left in a room full of lights...

Rooms are big and comfortable for an affordable price. There is a safe and a fridge with beverages as well. A big screen tv as well.

Average hotel - can be better, can be worse. I was not charged for the breakfast, which is good. Room was ok - 2 single beds, clean, complimentary small bottle of water, no fridge. Bus station is just 1 min away, which is convenient. There is parking, if you come by car. Breakfast could be improved, not many choices. I liked that they had scrambled eggs. In April there was some sort of construction...

This place has a great view of the Rhine River. Prices are fair considering the view. Very clean inside including the rest rooms. Possible to rent electronic bikes here for a ride down or up the Rhine along the dikes...

To visit my friends in Moers Germany I reserved a room in the zur Linde Hotel . First off all congratulations to the cleaning personnel. You don't encounter much such clean rooms . Also the friendly staff was amazing . I'm not amazed that's this is one of the best hotels in Germany.

Very nice, clean and spacious room and the hotel has nice ball rooms that you can celebrate special occasions in (birthdays, weddings etc) - we went there to attend a birthday celebration and the food was delicious.
