Where to stay in Westerland

We had a nice stay. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the Bing Bing Bap was delicious. Rooms were clean, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The spa and swimming pool were really good. The highlight for us was the kids’ playroom with someone there to look after the children—such a thoughtful touch!

Close to the beach but the property itself could use a refresh, especially with regard to the rate of the room

This top notch resort located right on the beach is very high quality. The service is exceptional and very friendly and inviting. Plenty of free parking around. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Dogs welcome to stay in the hotel and given a special bed and food dishes. Restaurant and bar on site. The price is justifiable given the type of hotel. Recommend staying here again.

Lovely 3-night stay in this great hotel located in an old building with character by the beach. Personnel are supper attentive and pay great attention to detail. Facilities include gym, swimming pool and a spa area with saunas. Great breakfast experience with varied buffet and a la carte options.

Great traditional grand hotel with family service and a prime location!

Beautiful art deco style Hotel with a nice smokers lounge. The coffee and cake was as to be expected from THE address in Westerland. The charm from the last century is also present in the personell reading the wishes off the faces of their guests.

The hotel is located in the largest building in Westerland. The hotel is very well located and easy to reach, even by train. Westerland's beach promenade is right outside the front door. The bathroom has a powerful hairdryer, and the shower water pressure is also one of the strongest I've ever experienced. The service is very good and friendly, as is the breakfast (see photo).

We were there for just a week and I have to say that it was very nice again. The breakfast is excellent. The cleanliness of the rooms is great and everyone tries incredibly hard to ensure that everything is right and that it is an unforgettable holiday with great service. Great location, right in the town center; you can quickly reach the beach or all the shops. A fantastic, extensive breakfast buffet and consistently friendly service. The only downside was the extremely small room, which definitely needs some modernization. The bathroom and shower were also very small.

A top location at the top end of Friedrichstrasse. There are shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The location is quiet and in 3 minutes you are right on the beach in Westerland. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and practically furnished. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and varied. The service here was also very friendly. Maybe everyone is knowing this restaurant but I guess this is the most underrated one in this category on the island. Delicious meals, extraordinary wines, great stuff and the best chef/ owner/ host you can imagine. Had an unforgettable evening/ experience here. 10 points!!! Chapeau. Great central hotel in Westerland. You can only drive in front of the house during delivery times, otherwise a public car park is a little away. A very centrally located hotel about 10 comfortable walking minutes from the train station. The hotel is a satellite hotel, partly the rooms are outside of the main building but is right around the corner. There is no elevator. The rooms are all very clean! The furniture is very well-kept but a lot of 90s chic. All in all, however, according to the category Top 🙂

The stay at the hotel was great! The room was of sufficient size and everything was kept very, very clean. The sauna in the attic was also very great. The staff is super nice and welcoming and the breakfast was really great! You will be pampered all around and the breakfast will be prepared according to your own wishes. We stayed at the Villa Kristina. The hotel is centrally located, and you can get anywhere quickly, whether shopping, walking along the seaside, dining, or the train station. The hotel breakfast is fresh and varied. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is family-like, and you feel at home.

Hello dear visitors, the Strandhotel Sylt leaves little to be desired. There is a great team at work here to do everything they can to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible. Express your wishes and a path will appear. The beach hotel will be renovated in the next few days, but the team (The Good Selection of a Hotel) will be there. The breakfast is certainly one of the best I've ever had, even though we usually stay in large hotels for work. The selection was great, the rooms were clean and quiet, although perhaps a bit traditionally furnished. But breakfast lets you cope with that!

Friendliness and service top, it couldn't be better. Rooms are sufficiently large and equipped with a mini kitchen. Only the furnishings are a bit old, if you like yellow and red, this is the place for you. But everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast very good. Location great! We would come back, but only at the offer price.

A hotel without any major criticisms. The location is 7 stars, very central and still quiet. The breakfast is very good for a hotel of this class. It is a lovely small hotel. I liked it a lot. Very clean and they welcomed me like a friend. The breakfasts were great. The only thing why I didn’t give them an excellent was, the room was cold and the heater was not working adequately. We had a few very stormy and rainy days, so some heat would have been helful!

A beautiful hotel, with excellent service. Arrived very late because several trains were cancelled. I received a very friendly welcome and was given a very nice double room, even though I had only booked a single room. The first refill of the minibar is included in the price.
