Wonderful place to stay. Very nice rooms, the service a dream. We recommend! An extremely chilled place!

We stayed two nights with one Tour group in Haus Sonnenglanz. We can only say: Super accommodation and a very, very nice and attentive landlord. Everyone really liked the very spacious rooms and the new bathrooms. Quite apart from the kitchen and the bar, which left nothing to be desired. We would like to thank Mr Zeidler very much. We were allowed to spend 4 wonderful days in Haus Sonnenglanz. The house is great. The room layout is great for large groups. Each room has a bathroom with shower or bath. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The highlight is the gastro kitchen, where it is no problem to cook for 15 people. We were there as a couple for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Very lovingly furnished and managed. The owner couple is very personable and you felt right at home. Very clean and tidy. Food and gastronomy great. Nah. Sometimes we come with our motorcycles.

The hotel is in a quiet location and is in top condition. Modern and tastefully furnished. The reception was very friendly, as was the room spacious and very clean. The breakfast was rich, we lacked nothing. The yoghurt drink was particularly tasty. We can only recommend it and it was definitely not the last time there. We felt very comfortable.

I stayed for one night in a single room. The hotel is in a very nice quiet location, with its own garden area to sit outside, or comfortable seating inside and the car park at the rear was a safe place for my motorcycle. The beds were comfortable, quiet, everything clean, great breakfast, nice surroundings and walks around, the lady taking care of us was very nice, though did only speak german to us but we manage somehow.

We had another wonderful family holiday in our favorite hotel! The operators are very cordial, open-minded and informal. Despite the current requirements, we had a normal everyday hotel life. In good memory. We are already looking forward to the next time :)

Excellent hotel. Very hospitable people. Think about routes. Nothing is too much. We have walked, beautiful surroundings. Never knew that the Harz is so beautiful. Hotel is definitely recommended. Creative solutions have been found to be corona proof. Nothing but praise.

We went there as a family with our 1 year old son. The pension was ok. It could have been a little cleaner (e.g. cobwebs everywhere) and is a bit old. Otherwise, our concerns were properly taken care of, a travel cot and a high chair were provided. The breakfast was sufficient. The Bocksberg was within walking distance. At first glance our room looked quite good and comfortable. But up close you could see that everything was a bit dusty and worn. (Like the entire place.) The bathroom was like stepping back in time to the 70's. But apart from the dust it was clean. We stayed here with 2 families for 3 days at the turn of the year and found it totally fine. Mr. Hirschmann gave the children an extra room opposite ours, so that we adults could spend time together in the evening and still keep an eye on the children. Breakfast is small but sufficient. There is WiFi with good reception everywhere. The rooms are in some places in need of renovation but nothing serious...

Nice German hotel in the Harz. Breakfast OK considering the price. Excellent cocktail bar, but they only accepted cash. The surroundings are fantastic - try the liebebanksweg - about a 7 km walk/climb. Room in old fashioned German stile with sofa group in room for entertainment.

A very nice hotel in the mountains. The view from the hotel is beautiful as it looks directly onto the two lakes in the town. Inside the hotel the interior is full of beautifully carved wood. The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. Loving this place. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room cleaners and I are having a secret competition in bed making and pj folding 😃. Food is lovely and the rooms are beautiful. Got a free upgrade to a suite as we arrived. Never had such a lovely surprise before. We highly recommend a stay here. This hotel is doing it's up most to make our stay memorable 🤩🤩🤩

Hotel with great price / performance ratio. The food was delicious. Of course, the rooms are older, but everything was clean. The staff is very friendly. Can't understand the negative reviews. For the price you can't expect a 5 star hotel. The location is ideal for hiking.

We stayed spontaneously here for a night with 2 children and our dog. Pleasant surroundings, 2 swim lakes makenup for the indoor pool being closed (covid regs). Food was more than okay for inclusive buffet. 100% satisfied with room and price.

Very nice "Appartementhotel" in Hahnenklee. The friendly owners lovingly take care of everything. Dogs are allowed for a surcharge. In addition, there is a cute breakfast.

Very nice apartment with plenty of space and beautiful views. In our apartment it was very clean and tidy but the high light was definitely the conservatory. The breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone. Only to be recommended.

Were there in October 2022. Cosy, family-run hotel. Very quiet location, nice, clean rooms, delicious food, great breakfast. Nice boss, always good for a chat 😎. All in all: very relaxing days. Would love to come back (already booked!)

Very nice reception, great room, peace and quiet without end, a family atmosphere among the guests. We struck up a conversation very quickly. Food was very good and tasty. Overall it was a good stay. However, sleeping on the hard mattress didn't let me rest so much. Since the boss had to do everything on her own, heckling sometimes arose. But very careful! Spent a week there with the whole family, and was won over on the first day. Friendly family atmosphere throughout the hotel, quiet location and spacious, cozy rooms. A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking. You rarely feel so comfortable and homely in hotels, soon in a new one!

The breakfast is good and completely sufficient. It's family-like and the staff are really nice. The fact that the swimming pool can only be used by families and at a time chosen by the guest is no cause for criticism for me. Every hotel needs a hygiene concept and this has been solved well. We stayed at the Paul-Lincke Residenz for a weekend with our children in January. The two holiday apartments were well equipped, the booking and the handover of the apartment went smoothly, minor problems were solved immediately. The whole house is lovingly furnished and the references to Paul Lincke were exciting for our children. We had a great holiday and can fully recommend the accommodation.

Were there in October last year and now in June. As always, it was very nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the room we had now wasn't in as good a condition as it was last year. Unfortunately, there were small flaws such as, for example, the door handle wasn't tight, the sink tap wasn't really tight, the drawers in the bathroom were loose, the toilet kept flushing, you always had to bang on it to stop...

Lovingly run pub. Always open on Fridays. The draft beer tastes good and the homemade liqueurs and schnapps are delicious. You always meet nice people there.

Very nice hotel right on the edge of the forest in a quiet location. We had a great room with a view of the Bocksberg. The nice employee at the reception and in the breakfast room fulfilled all wishes. The breakfast buffet was also great. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along, but we will definitely come back again.

We are totally satisfied. Had a junior suite. In the evenings in particular, we really enjoyed the couches. From the balcony we could see the Bocksberg. Breakfast is solid, rolls, eggs and everything you like. We'd love to come back.
