We are excited. The search for vegan hotels where you don't have to worry about anything has turned out to be difficult in Germany, but everything was right here. The 100% vegan breakfast is great and not even that good in the hip Hamburger Cafe around the corner. Changing warm dishes, lots of homemade spreads and raw bread left nothing to be desired and that's why we extended another night. The saunas...

It is a completely vegan hotel which offers a lot of fresh raw food. For breakfast there is, for example, a fresh green smoothie made from spinach, celery and wild herbs (everything from our own garden) as well as orange and apple. There are raw muesli and many other things like gluten-free bread and many homemade spreads. The dinner is a 3-course menu with a raw vegetable soup as a starter, zucchini...

We felt very comfortable, our room was very clean, but there was no handle in the shower. The breakfast buffet and the raw food menu in the evening were unbeatable.

Clean simple friendly hotel, one star here is far superior to what you'd expect anywhere else. Yes, the decor's a bit dated, but perfectly good. Breakfast was good, usual fare provided. Lovely visit.

Such a good selection of spreads and the buns were delicious!! Also the staff were welcoming and gave good advice on what to do during our stay.

Very pleasant hotel on the edge of town with very much a "seventies" feel. Spotlessly clean although the accomodation was not the most modern but very functional. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open during our stay but breakfast was very good and generous. Very friendly and helpful reception.

I was there for dinner with colleges. The meal was good. We had to wait pretty long for it although there weren't many other guests.

Outstanding service and food. Yves and his team are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Next time I visit Harz I will be booking at Glück Auf!

We stayed two nights with one Tour group in Haus Sonnenglanz. We can only say: Super accommodation and a very, very nice and attentive landlord. Everyone really liked the very spacious rooms and the new bathrooms. Quite apart from the kitchen and the bar, which left nothing to be desired. We would like to thank Mr Zeidler very much. We were allowed to spend 4 wonderful days in Haus Sonnenglanz. The house is great. The room layout is great for large groups. Each room has a bathroom with shower or bath. The beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The highlight is the gastro kitchen, where it is no problem to cook for 15 people. The hotel is suitable for walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists. The food is delicious and portions are ample. The breakfast is great. Neat and richly filled. On weekends there is a buffet. We were there as a couple for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Very lovingly furnished and managed. The owner couple is very personable and you felt right at home. Very clean and tidy. Food and gastronomy great. Nah. Sometimes we come with our motorcycles.

The hotel is in a quiet location and is in top condition. Modern and tastefully furnished. The reception was very friendly, as was the room spacious and very clean. The breakfast was rich, we lacked nothing. The yoghurt drink was particularly tasty. We can only recommend it and it was definitely not the last time there. We felt very comfortable.

I stayed for one night in a single room. The hotel is in a very nice quiet location, with its own garden area to sit outside, or comfortable seating inside and the car park at the rear was a safe place for my motorcycle.
