Staff was nice, snacks were on point and with good variety, food well seasoned and good amount of activities

I can't be mean enough to give it less than three stars, because it scores well on attractiveness of location, pool, etc. And, with the special offer, the price was what got us there. But.... there it ends. It looks to me like this was built as a Wyndham or similar in the 80s, and has had little maintenance since. The rooms are tired, to say the least. Uncomfortably hard bed, but worse, thick foam pillows and single bed sheets on a king size bed!! Washbasin plug refused to come out, so would not drain (did not call out maintenance as this happened at 11pm), then WC got blocked (not our fault - flushed without paper or anything) overnight. Shower spurts all over the place... Cleaning is haphazard, clumps of hair left in a corner, and open the "safe cupboard" and spot the cobwebs! (There is an old rusted safe, but no lock). All-inclusive as usual means basic cafeteria meals (adequate) and near-undrinkable alcohol (do not touch the red wine - but the rum is OK with lots of ice in it). It would be a really nice hotel with a little spent on it and if it was not all-inclusive, I would rather pay for a decent meal and drink than what was served. The staff on reception are lovely but helpless to do anything, waiting staff clearly demonstrate that they are only there because there are no jobs elsewhere. A shame.
