Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites All Inclusive in Boca Chica

The Be Live Experience Hamaca Garden & Beach Resort was the worse experience. The front desk person Leydi, was pleasant and helpful in checking us in. However, she said that the Ridizzi Restaurant was not open until Thursday to take reservations and only the buffet and the beach grill were operating for food service during our stay. the room was not ready but she told us we could go to eat lunch at the buffet and then the room would be ready. We went to the buffet and they had a Spanish theme. The room we were assigned #515 was obscured ocean view, it had stains in the bathtub and mold on the carpet floor. Then I went into the bathroom and the ceiling tile fell down. The door was cracked and the security lock was missing and broken. The was paint splatter on the balcony chairs. I went to the front desk and they sent me over to Guest Services desk in the far corner of the lobby and Isidoro was on the phone for 15 minutes and 3 guests, including myself were waiting to get help. Then finally after the lady & man ahead of me received help. I told Isidoro what was going on and he said that I would have to wait for and hour in the messed up room with my family, breathing in mold from the carpet, so someone could show me other available rooms. It took 1 hour 45 minutes waiting in the horrible room #515 then the guest service guy, Isidoro came to look at the room and saw the fallen bathroom ceiling and the mold on the carpet. He took us to look at 3 other rooms on the 2nd floor, the same level as the hotel lobby and we picked room #257, which had 2 beds, accessible shower and tile floor in the room instead of the yucky carpeting. The frame of the bed was broken and mattress too soft on one bed and the other was a little firmer, one pillow on each bed instead of 2 pillows. This room faced the garden and water feature. In general the bell boys Rafael and Richard were great and helpful. On the way to the airport Richard got us a taxi cab for $25 which was cheaper than the $30 the airport cab charged from SDQ to the Be Live Experience Hamaca resort. On Monday evening when we went to eat at the buffet my husband and I got the beef steak and it was spoiled, the order was rancid and should never have been served to anyone. I took the beef over to the chef with the tall black hat and he smelled it and agreed there was a problem. The chef proceeded to go to the kitchen and reprimand another man but I did not see them remove the tainted food from the line. This was very concerning and we could not eat anything else that evening. Tuesday June 28, 2022 was the last evening we were there and the buffet waitress, Janella was very nice. She was friendly, attentive, professional, helpful and nice. We told her that we were here to celebrate my son's birthday and this was our last night. At few minutes later when we were eating dessert. Janella and some 2 other employees surprised my son with balloons shaped like a bumble bee and a plate of different cak

The only positive thing I can say about this resort is that the beach is beautiful. The service was extremely poor. Very unfriendly staff. Drinks are served in the smallest cups made. All the restaurants in the resort are closed. The only place to eat is the buffet which is the same food over and over and just average at that. Ended up eating off site for many meals. The resort looks run down. With so many choices to stay in Dominican Republic I would pick a different resort.

Hello everyone this is a deep dive or detailed review of this hotel; I will let you know my personal experience regarding my 3 day visit to this “resort/hotel”, I am an airline employee with 20 plus years in this industry visiting plenty of resorts throughout the world and in the Dominican Republic, if you are a fellow airline employee or tourism related employee don’t visit this place. I arrived and the employees were not all that welcoming or nice in any particular way; first thing I noticed once I got to the hotel, it’s the fact that they post beautiful photoshopped pictures when in reality the hotel is falling apart from A to Z wherever you look its pretty sad the condition its in. Lobby its not nice or neat looking a lot of broken items form chairs or furniture to windows or doors; once I made it to the hotel room anything that was supposed to be metal had RUST on it, I am talking from light fixtures to the door to the water faucet it all had RUST which if you’re like me and like cleanliness a lot, it felt pretty bad. The door main lock did not work; the door wooden frame piece fell apart almost hitting me and stabbing me with its nails. Hot water only worked in the shower when it felt like it. The king bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture in the room was used up to the level that it looked like it was from the 1970’s. You could seriously hear the air conditioning like it was in the closet that’s how loud it was and the air conditioning vent was black and rusty as well which made me and my companion had a sore throat the next day. I asked to speak with a management member and they were never available; you could let the front desk agent know all of these issues and they did not know how to answer or what to do. The room phone did not work at all. The GYM was shut down and this was the first reason why I decided to stay in this hotel, I could have stayed somewhere else where the GYM was opened and they just brushed this off, it is not in their website that the GYM is closed. If you have kids I would tell you do not go to this place as it is not safe in general when it comes to the premises and specially for young kids. The only thing I liked about the place was the access to the beach and the employees in the beach area were very nice specially the ones service drinks and food, they were extra nice and attentive in the beach area. I hope this review helps you with your decision.

The worst of the worst!
First of all as we go to do check-in, the guy that was "attending " us received a phone call, and he picks up the phone and starts talking and talking and talking for like 20 minutes straight and we there waiting! Tried to interrupt his talking on the phone but nope, there was no way you could get him out of that phone! So eventually we left him talking on the phone and we go to another guy to do the check-in and we asked to talk with a Manager and nobody will get a Manager to talk to!!!
Besides this , the food was horrible! The location where the buffet is, is full of cats which it makes it for you very uncomfortable to have a nice lunch or dinner!!
The waitress, instead of paying attention to the costumers and trying to serve them, they just hang out with each other and joking around, which to me is very unprofessional!!
Just one night there is such a waste of time and money!!
Does this resort even have a Manager?!!
Cause everything seems to be out of control there!!!

This spot is in a horrible place, every night, all night, you are constantly harassed by locals trying to sell you drugs, or trying to scare you into money.

It's not just the locals, most employees try doing the same. The security try to set vacationers up to get in trouble with the police here.

Food isn't horrible, but the general experience here has not been a good one. The rooms don't come with a "liquor dispenser" and you're lucky if your fridge is stocked every day after its cleaned. I woke up at 9:30 to a group trying to fumigate our room...

The power goes out on a regular basis across the entire resort, the night club isn't even on the resort
