Terrible experience – completely ruined our stay!

On October 19, 2025, we checked into this hotel with a gift card worth 200 euros. We were traveling with a child and booked a family room with dinner, paying an additional 52 euros. At check-in, we were told to reserve a table in the restaurant, which we did.

At 8:00 PM, we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order. After waiting for an entire hour, we still hadn’t received any food. Without any explanation, the waitress only offered us drinks. I asked for a refund for the dinner, but was told that the manager would only be available in the morning.

By 9:30 PM, all restaurants nearby were closed, and we had to go to bed absolutely hungry.
The next morning, the manager refunded only 50 euros, claiming that money from the gift card cannot be returned, even though our dinner for three cost 60 euros.

For a hotel of this level, this is extremely disappointing and petty. Not only did they spoil our entire stay, but they also showed no understanding or professionalism in handling the situation.
It’s unacceptable for a supposedly high-class spa hotel to treat guests this way and to hide behind technicalities like “gift cards are not real money.”

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or family-friendly stay.

My family and I booked a weekend stay at this spa hotel after seeing numerous positive reviews, hoping for a relaxing retreat. We paid €323 for a suite, which included parking and spa access. While the suite itself was spacious (50 sqm with a separate master bedroom), the quality of the experience we received for this price was unacceptable. Complete lack of cleanliness in the room. For a luxury suite, this is non-negotiable: Obvious stains on the floor, Dust everywhere, Dried toothpaste marks splattered all over the bathroom surfaces.
It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival.
Prior to our arrival, we ordered a fruit platter (a "ratatouille of fruits," as listed) for €30. What we received was an absolute joke and a true demonstration of poor customer value: a minuscule amount of fruit, weighing maybe 200 grams total, consisting of only 14 grapes, one strawberry cut in half, and a small 50-gram piece of watermelon. Charging €30 for this meager selection is utterly appalling and shows a complete disregard for guests.
The state of the spa was the final straw. It's unclear where the positive reviews came from The main pool had a surprising amount of sand lining the bottom. Wearing swimming goggles instantly revealed that the pool had not been cleaned in a very long time. We got out immediately. The two outdoor jacuzzis were available, but the water was noticeably too cool. The spa was severely overcrowded. It appears they allow a large number of outside visitors who are not hotel guests, diminishing the experience for paying residents. Completely ruined weekend. Paying a luxury price for poor hygiene, blatant overcharging, and substandard facilities is completely unacceptable.
There are better and cheaper spa hotels right next door. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Save your money and your weekend.
