The hotel part is good, but the breakfast was VERY DISAPPOINTING.
We read a lot about the great restaurant Hansa, you do not experience it in the morning. Coffee was very bad, eggs are strange, everything is below the standard quality that we have experienced during our 15 days road-trip across the 3 baltic states in similar ranges of hotels.

It’s I think mostly a restaurant with not good food. They have like 10 maybe 15 rooms. All rooms suppose to look medieval but I didn’t like them. Rooms and toilet are clean but the only way to get to the rooms is by staircase. And the way they look and feel is a bit off.
For that price would never choose this place again. I wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent hotel for a stay to discover Tartu & nearby attractions , the hotel itself is like a museum with a very interesting collection of tools and many other items from the past, a nice central courtyard garden and luxuriously furnished rooms...friendly & helpful staff.

We just visited the restaurant and the food was great and the service was excellent. The decor is very interesting. It was a treat!

Excellent and interresting hotel with much soul. Easy accessible by the main road and only 15 min walk from city center.

Very nice and cosy hotel.
Bed was only 180cm long though...
Breakfest was Ok and included in the rooms price. Nice adel coat of Arms as decoration

Hotel seems tired, but was still fun to stay in. Bed was okay, breakfast was quite limited and not great quality. Staff are extremely nice, though! It’s a little far from the center of things, but it makes for a nice walk to start and end the day, even in the snow

Very nice hotel with unique exterior and interior, you will never find anything alike at the big chain hotels. The items collected there and displayed all around hotel and restaurant are amazing authentic etnographic values you could look for at some museums. Lovely! Very nice restaurant! Only thing I did not like so much was the room which needed a little bit of renowation and some improvement in the power supply. But, I still loved it very much!

Nice hotel with rustic design, which actually looks better in photos then in real ;) spacious parking in front of reception, decent breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms and beds, friendly and helpful staff, within a 15 minute walk of downtown. Breakfast included. Would definitely stay again!
