Very big hotel, big room, lot of unused space all around, in the halls, restaurant, rooms. I have strong feeling that I am 30 years back in Socialistic time and time stoped at this place. It is not bad place but still not super. When you go to breakfast very often something missing and there is also attention please give you used dishes to wheel. Similar as school cafeteria but not hotel. Relax space...

Big but cold rooms. Breakfast no good for a bigger crowd. Towels lying in some hallway for at least two days. But on the other hand good service.

It’s I think mostly a restaurant with not good food. They have like 10 maybe 15 rooms. All rooms suppose to look medieval but I didn’t like them. Rooms and toilet are clean but the only way to get to the rooms is by staircase. And the way they look and feel is a bit off. For that price would never choose this place again. I wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel part is good, but the breakfast was VERY DISAPPOINTING. We read a lot about the great restaurant Hansa, you do not experience it in the morning. Coffee was very bad, eggs are strange, everything is below the standard quality that we have experienced during our 15 days road-trip across the 3 baltic states in similar ranges of hotels.

Excellent hotel for a stay to discover Tartu & nearby attractions , the hotel itself is like a museum with a very interesting collection of tools and many other items from the past, a nice central courtyard garden and luxuriously furnished rooms...friendly & helpful staff.

We just visited the restaurant and the food was great and the service was excellent. The decor is very interesting. It was a treat!

It's a great place here! Although the personnel is very pleasant, the atmosphere is laid back and calm. You can tell they are knowledgeable and that the satisfaction of their consumers is their top priority.

Never have stayed here as a someone who is looking for a place to stay. Kantri Hotell offers rooms for conferences and small meetings, they have chairs, tables, blackboard.. As far as I know the prices are really acceptable, since I've been part of people renting the room for a long time now. You can also order tea or coffee and just chill in the hallway, there are comfy couches and one big sofa.

The hotel provides nice service. The staff is polite and helpful. Everything is clean and comfortable. Location is convenient (afar from the street noise and activities). The breakfast was super good and delicious (with a variety of options). The TV doesn't have a lot of options though. I would definitely stay there next time.

It's very basic, beds are not most comfortable to my taste, but rooms are spacious and breakfast excellent. Unbeatable value for money at €27 a night.

Small, basic rooms. No airconditioning, small beds, TL-lights. For some reason there were like 20 dogs in the hotel when we stayed here. breakfast was not great. It was cheap though.

The interior is a bit archaic. Floor is covered by an old soviet style wooden sheets. Food was not so good. But we had a very nice time with a lot of our friends.

Overall good hotel in a great place. Very little info available. No signs, no labels. Have to guess where the breakfast is, had to use Google to find out where the gym is. Few labels wouldn't hurt. For example next to elevator buttons.

Great hotel in downtown Tartu! Walking distance from Main Street, shops and restaurants. I could park my motorcycle just in front of the reception, safe place, brilliant. Clean and cozy rooms. One downside, bathroom floor was very slippery, wrong material used. AC is good in the room. Breakfast was tasty, enough different items to choose from. Recommended!

Location is good. There are lots of restaurants around the area. Also big supermarkets here. There is a morning market that you can walk just 5 minutes from the hotel main entrance. Also a river at the back of the hotel, nice scenery. You can follow this way walk to the old town.

We chose this hotel because of the perfect location. The receptionist was readily available even at 11pm but didn't speak Russian and had a very hard accent in English. The location of the hotel is good, it is located in the city, next to major shopping centers. The main bus station is 10 minutes away, and the street where you can eat good food is 10 minutes away from the hotel. Great location, great breakfast buffet. Free parking onsite. Walk to everything of interest in Tartu. Rooms on street side can have some traffic noise but it calms down at night.

I enjoyed my stay here. But the problem was that we had a leak and during the night the sealing started to leak 😬 I would like to thank the staff for fixing it! They were really nice and helpful!

Good hotel, nice quiet and clean room, good breeakfast. Parking lot is too narrow and small to feel comfortable there with a car, it can happen you will not get available spot there. If you come with a car, try to look elswhere.

Very nice hotel, great location next to a mall, good enough breakfast, and the staff were supernice. There was just one small detail that was not perfect. Sewage system in the shower was not able to cope with the water flow from shower and flooded all the bathroom. Water even started flowing into the room. It took some time after I took shower for the water to go away. Needs urgent fixing.

New modern hotel. It is not located in the center, but is conveniently located for access by car. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The room had a sauna, the room was large, large windows and a lot of light. We liked the hotel and can recommend it.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and I've been to many. Perfect location. Beautiful, modern rooms, incredibly polite Staff, modern interior. And let's not forget Michelin-starred dining. 20/10, a must stay if you're visiting Tartu.

A convenient business hotel with plenty of nearby dining options. The hotel also features a sauna on the 5th floor, which is a nice touch for relaxation after a long day. However, the soundproofing could be improved, so light sleepers may find it a bit challenging to get a good night's rest.

Same building and reception serves The hotel and The hostel. Hostel is at top 5 floor but has own entrance abd room numbering. We had some issues hostel keys not working but this was resolved quickly. Hostel has rooms to sleep. Bathroom and shower were separate for men and women.

Good quality for a reasonable price. Price for Sauna was extra 8 Euros, but it was defenitly worth to go there, because there are large windows and a nice view. The breakfast buffet was rich, everybody was friendly.

We didn't visit the spa area, as our schedule would have become too tight. In addition, we didn't have flipflops that are mandatory there (could've bought them there if we wanted to). Our 5yo loved the massive bathtub in our room. Sadly, we could bathe only the first night, as the next night, the water was brown and left the tub with blackish debris. Think there may have been a burst pipe somewhere...

Nice hotel, quite close to the center. The room and the bathroom were nice and spacious. The only minus was the absence of the kettle and cups in the room since we always take our own coffee with us.

The beds are comfy, rooms were clean. But the TV shows only a few Estonian channels, so you can't really watch it. And the rooms 104 and 105 are really close to some bar there, that played loud music at night, which didn't let us sleep. The staff was nice tho and its not a bad place overall. The breakfast wasn't bad either.

Here is very quiet and calm. In some rooms there is a sauna or bubble bath. In apartments there are lots of space. There are bathroom ant television to. Here is free wifi. You eat breakfast in special place to eat. You can eat there "till you die" (or drink to). Here is very delicious food.

My room was nice and comfortable, a lot of space. The interior was out-dated, though, not many sockets for recharging of all your gadgets. The lobby was spacious, too, but the fountain in it was odd. The location is great. Many nice cafés and restaurants nearby, as well the main venue of Tartuff (Tartu Film Festival).
