Marina view port ghalib

I only have pictures of the room and the food(cuz thats my job) the room was nice and clean. There was no fridge but it wasnt a problem to us. But the room at night has little to no lighting. There’s no chandelier on the ceiling or something there’s just two lamps in the room that provide lighting and it’s like faint yellow color. There was no view idk why it’s called marina view to begin with lol. Now onto the food it was horrible. The breakfast was nice which is omelettes and waffles. But the lunch was bad. Every protein they ever serve tastes so so bad. The chicken is zefra(idk how to translate that) kofta is bad, meat is horrible, just dont bother getting any protein. The desserts were always nice tho I ate konafa with bananas and whipped cream and I found a new favorite dessert of mine🤤❤️. But the food variety is not diverse. The buffet is small. It’s just not worth it. So I gave one star for the konafa and that’s it. If there was no konafa I would have gave zero stars if that’s possible lol. Dont come there guys unless you wanna save money so bad and dont care about the food. I saved money but this wasnt my goal if I knew a better hotel I would’ve ran there lol. But you get what you pay for and if you didnt pay much then dont expect something decent.

I don’t know what all the good ratings are about, but this hotel is low end. The room didn’t have a minibar, the food is below average, the pillows were not clean and smelled bad, the room itself smelled weird, the hair dryer didn’t work, and bathroom ventilation fan wasn’t working either. I would give it 2 stars not 3.

FYI: the pool and pool area are tiny but that’s not why I gave it a 1 star rating.

One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. The check in took extremely long, when we got to our room, nothing worked - the lights, the handle, etc., the walls were really dirty everywhere (as you can see in the pictures), the floor was also a real mess, the bedsheets had yellow-ish stains everywhere, so we had to sleep on our towels. The bathroom was also full of mold and rust, the ceiling was ripping off (the light didn’t work there as well). We got moved to another room, which was pretty much the same. It was really disgusting, we also found running cocroaches around the bar area. The beach is like 2 km away from the hotel. Do not recommend, since the advertised photos absolutely do not match the reality. You can see for yourself in the pictures below… The only bonus is the distance from the airport, which is about 15 minutes by car.

I'm lying here after a LONG and mostly sleepless overnight trip with an early start next morning, earplugs in, having been woken from the throes of a peaceful slumber by the most obnoxious party of foreigners in the outdoor bar. Next thing I know, speakers are now on, bass is knocking against my skull, suddenly feeling like a club just opened up inside my room. There is NO sound barrier whatsoever. Just as there is clearly NO consideration for the other guests in the building. Next door, there's a sick man who I've had the pleasure of listening to cough, snort, and vomit since I've arrived. The shower is the perfect fit for a toddler. The toilet is leaking. There is so little lighting in the bathroom, the shower may as well be a dark closet. And I've just discovered there is no cord plugged into my phone, so I can't even get in touch with the front desk without going out of my way. No one wants to be pulled out of bed and pajamas just to contact reception. Even for a 3-star, this is awful. I was willing to accept a lot, shrug it off, and call it a day, especially given the kindness, friendliness, and responsiveness of the staff (their ONLY saving grace at this point), but screwing with the comfort and much needed rest of your guests is just too big of a red line for anyone in hospitality to be dumb and inconsiderate enough to cross. I came here to relax, not to be tortured with sleep deprivation.
