Sands - By Pickalbatros Hotel

Amazing hotel with great beach. There is lot of thing to do, animators are very friedly. Food is excelent and rooms are clean.

Just came back from 2 weeks in Pickalbatros Sand and it’s so far the best resort I’ve stayed in while travelling to Egypt. The hotel is clean, quiet and ideal for a relaxing time ! Pros : •Amazing staff, all the waiters, cleaners, gardeners,.. are polite and so nice, always smiling even tho they work a lot. Even the sellers, who seem to be hated on the other comments, are so pleasant to talk with, they never forced us to buy anything and were just so friendly all the time. •Felt safe in the hotel and around. As 2 women travelling alone we could have felt unsafe but it never happened. •Food and beverages were top notch, the souk al hana buffet was huge and got plenty of different choices everyday. We also tried Cardamom and Tagine à la carte restaurants and we weren’t disappointed ! •Room was nice and fresh, the AC was working really well and we had plenty of space. Bed was comfy as well. Cons : •The animation team, I used to travel in Egypt and animation teams were all incredible, however, at the hotel we were really disappointed. Especially by Joseph, that always tried to flirt with me, everytime I refused he made me ashamed in the public space, for exemple at the beach theatre where he screamed and said that “they were plenty of beautiful girls anyway”. He also shouted at me at the lobby bar because I refused to buy ticket for the disco. The other members of the animation team would just ignore you and smile at you when they have something to sell, they forced my mother buying tombola ticket even tho we said no and refused to leave if we didn’t pay 5€ for it. Big up to Lucie and Alexander tho, they deserved to be called entertainers as they do their best with every guests ! •Housekeeping : was terrible, he just randomly threw our stuff when we would come back to the room (Razor, earplug,..) or forget to bring us new towel. Multiple time we were left with a single towel for 2 people. We gave him a tip at the beginning of the holiday and immediately regretted it. He also forgot every single day to put coffee, sugar, water in our mini bar. We felt bad to constantly ask the reception staff for it. On our last night, he woke me up at 7.50 by constantly knocking at the door and laughed when I opened it. •Beach theatre staff : Most of them were nice tho, but one of them (short and a bit fatter than the other, Tarek I think) would constantly ask for tip. We met multiple families that had the same problem, he would refuse to serve you and hit the tip jar with his hand until you put money in it. Then totally ignore you the next day. Except those little cons that didn’t change our holiday at all, everything was perfect and we’ll come back next year ! Shoutout to Tarek Khairy (Lagoon bar) and Mahmoud (Lagoon towel center) who made our stay more than perfect ! People definitely need to know how amazing they both are. Ahmed Essam (Souk al Hana) who was there for us every single day !

Excellent hotel, People are realy friendly and the food is good. Farah from guest relations is Always there to help. High quality pools, nice poolbars and Always something to do. The entertainment team gives their best to entertain.

great place for a family vacation. if you want to see Egypt then definitely not - it's far from everywhere. Well-equipped rooms (ours with a sea view). Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Hotel restaurant OK - variety of meals, and additionally at our request they prepared for our daughter e.g. pizza without cheese. A large number of attractions and pools and a coral reef nearby - children can't get bored. SPA center at a nice level - massages and relaxation treatments done more professionally.

Good hotel for families. It offers a good variety of food and beverages. It has a nice location by the sea with a pier. You can bathe in a warm swimming pool or go to the sea within five minutes distance. The weather in february is just perfect. Animations also fulfill expectations well.

There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The whole place is incredibly clean with a lot of hardworking staff. We really enjoyed eating at the Soprano restaurant. But we want to say the biggest thank you to barman Marwan. He made our stay there unforgettable. Not only his drinks were very tasty but he is an amazing and kind person

A beautiful complex with many attractions - swimming pools, slides, spa. Very interesting animations and artistic performances. Hotel service at the highest level, always smiling and helpful. The food was very tasty and fresh - there was never anything missing. The hotel really cares about the safety of its guests and, most importantly, about ecology. fantastic place. I will definitely come back there!!!

Very big hotél, lots of activities, everybody smíimg. my suggestion is doing beach soccer. lots of local foods. lots of delicious drinks. rooms are very cosy and clean. Animators are smiling and helping. beach is clean. Sea is beautiful, clean and breathtaking.
