HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

Totally loved it! Rooms were clean, and ours was huge. The food was wonderful, the staff was nice. The ocean was cold, but that's totally normal. The only thing I didn't really like is that there were only two small pools, one with deeper water, and one with shallow water. It wasn't really busy tho. It was great. View was breathtaking and the whole island is pretty. I highly recommend it!

Great hotel, fantastic holiday! We just got back yesterday. Lovely spacious rooms with airco and fridge. Food is nice. For drinks outside of the restaurant I would go to the little supermarket down the step by the swimming pool. Fantastic entertainment team especially Fabio and Sofia! Daytime entertainment super for all ages, evening not so good. Lovely friendly staff especially the two sisters! Great location close to the beach and the port, lots of restaurants and shops close by. (Dont believe bad reviews they are complete rubbish.) we will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel, great location with beautiful views. Nice food especially the excellence breakfast. Clean rooms and beautiful views from the balcony. And most importantly great entertainment team. Fabio does an amazing job at keeping everyone entertained. Sofia is a good fit for the entertainment team. Super enthusiastic entertainment. Very friendly staff who really try to make your stay as good as possible. Especially the hotel sisters (I don’t know their names) go above and beyond. I also hope to see Alberto as a manager next time we come.

The only thing that we missed was a bar to sit later at night, as the bar closes at 10.

I would really recommend this hotel!

Great hotel with fantastic kids entertainment and perfect location. Staff are very accommodating and very friendly. The food is the only slight downside to the hotel. Lunch and breakfast are good but meals at dinner weren’t as good so we did prefer to eat out. We had a family room leading out to the splash pool which was perfect for the kids.

Really great experience. We stayed in the hotel for 2nd year in a row. There are several things that make your stay truly great in this hotel:

1. Super friendly staff, really everywhere, at reception, kitchen, restaurant, kids room and relating to entertainment. Cant understand how they do such great hiring, but Fabio, Giorgia, Chiara, Lily, Sara are doing super job in entertaining both kids and their parents. Very nice meeting all of them! There are definitely more people I could higlight, just do not know all the names, sorry (Oliver from Restaurant?)
2. Very interesting evening show program. Kids just love nearly every performance and ask for it every evening. Evening kids disco is a must!
3. Tasty and healthy food. Plenty of choices even for long stay (new options every day), have boiled options, salads, not so much of oil etc, also vegetarian and gluten free options.
4. Special facilities (kids rooms, kids club, many swimming pools), can spend the whole day in the hotel without noticing it
5. Superb view from most of the rooms that are cleaned everyday. Hotel rooms are kept super clean.

A La Carte Excellence. We are currently here staying in room 301 Seaview Excellence with breathtaking views & sunsets, for 11 nights in May. Its a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Excellence apartment with large furnished private terrace with dining table & chairs, conservation sofa set & sun loungers on our private terrace. The apartment consists of a large master bedroom of 2 large single beds put together, tv & alot of built-in slide robes & patio doors leading out onto the large terrace.This room has an ensuite with jacuzzi type corner bath & shower with his & her sinks. The second bedroom is similar but without an ensuite. There are 5 of us, 4 adults & our 4 year old so we have a small single bed made up & put into the second bedroom as bedroom is large. There is a small main bathroom with shower & a large living area with corner sofa & tv, a dining area with large table & a full kitchen & daily housekeeping. We are on the side of Scallywags Family Showbar. This is our second time staying here. Last time we stayed here was a few months ago in January where we stayed in a 2 bedroom Comfort room with large terrace on the opposite side of the hotel. We are happy staying at both sides of the hotel although the Scallywags side is noisier, this does not bother us at all & in fact find it helps us sleep better listening to the music in the background from the bar. One of the differences we have found between staying in the Comfort room compared to the Excellence apartment that we are currently staying in with breathtaking views (& little much appreciated extras), is the access to the A La Carte restaurant with the Excellence apartment, which we have found to be amazing. The menu is small but the food is exquisitely delicious & noteworthy of having 5 star status. The way it is presented on the plate is stunning & the staff are unbelievably fantastic & so down to earth & honestly went above & beyond for us & also such a genuinely nice bunch of people who often make us laugh & touched our hearts. The staff in the A La Carte restaurant made my 19 year old sons birthday so special & the best ever & we will be talking about it for years to come. My son was so touched in his heart by the lovely heartwarming surprise they done for him. They have really made our holiday more special & gave us beautiful memories we will cherish forever, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. My youngest son who is 4 loves the facilities on offer here, a large soft play with slides & ball pit, good sized children's pool with slide & his favourite-the splash pool with multiple aqua fun play things to use or go on or walk through & get sprinkled with water. Inside the hotel there are small playrooms for children. There is a quiet room with a lovely selection of books & a room with pouffes & chalk board & a multiball room with a soft ball & a screen on the wall that you choose different game options to play. There is also a super large chess board with super large chess pieces you lift & carry & place on the board & theres a small jungle path with nature music playing as you walk through it which is lit up at night and looks amazing. They have a mini disco & facing the main buffet restaurant there is a large screen that often has childrens movies & popular cartoons playing on it. We thoroughly enjoy it all & especially appreciate the decoritve Sea Life theme skillfully carved & painted all around the walls in the hotel, it is stunning, the artist is extremely talented. The location of the hotel is second to none on the beachfront and with everything to cater for your needs on its doorstep & stunning walks and beaches too. There's probably lots I've left out as too much to mention, all the little touches the hotel & staff as a whole do, you can feel they sincerely care about their guests experiences when staying here, so you will have to come stay here to experience it for yourself. We definitely recommend the Excellence apartment that includes the A La Carte restaurant with breakfast on the beachfront & dinner, all with impeccable service, food & views

Fantastic family hotel, great beachfront location right in the centre of the Adeje resort. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the whole place is spotlessly clean all the time. Good food choices at all meal times and lots of child friendly activities every day, which are not too crowded. We have returned twice so far, would recommend

A great family hotel. We stayed for 8 nights with our 2 year old in a Superior room - it had a fantastic view. The layout of the one bedroom apartment was great as we could put little one to sleep in the bedroom and then still have the living area and balcony for ourselves.
The entertainment for the kids was fantastic - special shout out to Fabio the entertainment manager. All the staff were great with the little ones, and the soft play was so helpful for chillier days - my only slight complaint would be that the board of activities wasn't always updated so we missed a few things we wanted to try. The kids mini disco was a great way to end the night too and our little one loved it.
Food was better than I was expecting after reading a few reviews - always fresh and tasty. Plenty of variety with a different "special" each day. The ice cream deserves a special mention too.
We didn't figure out how to get to the grassed play area, but with all the other things for kids it wasn't actually an issue. Some directions would have been helpful - a QR code to a map of the hotel perhaps.
