Great stuff, brilliant location, great room... some hairs in the bathroom when I arrived.. but it can happen...

Its once upon a time was the landmark hotel in almeria . It's still in the middle of the town . But shows its age . If you are in Almeria for 2 to 4 days it's a good place to stay to explore town centre . Attractions near by ..lots of restaurant nearby..airport transfer bus comes closer to the hotel 5 minutes walk . Closer to big mercado .. Alcasaba , cathedral nearby . Be careful with windows , some of them wont close. We had to change room as we couldn't close the window frame. Staff really polite.

I didn't know what to expect from this hotel, seeing as the overall total for 3 nights was surprisingly low, but I can definitely say now that I was pleasantly surprised.

The reception staff were absolutely wonderful, kind and very helpful, with everything we asked from them, whether it's help with the bus schedules and where to get tickets or leaving our bags on the 3rd day before picking up back up at night, they were wonderful.

The room itself was nice, if a bit outdated, in my opinion.
We had asked for a front view, but what we got was a back room with a pink building blocking our view, where the people living on the second and third floor could easily peep into our room.
The water pressure in the shower was absolutely wild and the bathroom in and of itself was clean, if a bit on the minimalist side.

The buffet was good, if a tad pricy for what it had to offer, so make sure to call a day ahead so that you could pay 8€ instead of 10€.
As for its location, it's a 20 minute bus ride to the nearest beach and maybe a 40 minute walk, but the bus stop is like, 3 minutes away from it and it's right next to the main shopping street of the center of Almería (where there's also a Carrefour, conveniently).

Overall, I'd strongly recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable place to stay at while enjoying the hot humidity Almería has to offer.

The hotel is centrally located, and within walking distance to just about everything you want to see and explore. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good recommendations for restaurants in the area. We used the hotel parking (for an additional fee) which is a street over. Note: the inclines are very steep in the garage, and very narrow to negotiate...An experience to say the least :). The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms very clean. We were upgraded to a superior room, which gave us access to the rooftop and spa. A great experience overall.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with excellent professionals. Breakfast very varied and good. The hotel restaurant serves tasty and varied tapas.
