We had the loveliest stay here, Rosa on reception was a dream and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. For a 4 star hotel the staff was are amazing, some parts of the hotel are a little outdated, however that did not make a difference to how much we enjoyed our holiday. All inclusive option was very well priced, plenty of options for everyone at meal times. Kids pool and slides were great for the little one and the beach being situated across the road made it easy to have a change of scenery from the hotel. If you are looking for a chilled family holiday I would recommend.

This was the second year in a row we have stayed at this hotel. we did look to try something different this year but in the end decided as we enjoyed last year so much we would book again. This is very much a spanish hotel there were a few other btitish while we were there but mostly its spanish guests, so the entertainment it all in spanish, our 5 year old didnt seem to bother too much though he played with spanish children, we watched to see how he would get on and we need not have worried as he was in full conversation with a spanish child one speaking english one spanish but somehow they knew what they were talking about, shame adults cant seem to do the same. The staff are excellent very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they work very hard in all departments, to ensure that the experience is perfect, especially the bar staff and the enternainment, daytime and evening. we found the food very good indeed, and always found something to eat at every meal. the room, (we had the themed room) was awesome, spacious and perfect for us. the hotel we found to be very clean and the pool the same, although maybe a little more attention on the slide pool area of removing debris would have made it perfect. it did get busy but you soon work out the busy times so you can time your meals accordingly to get the pool almost to yourself. the beach was great also. we really cant fault this hotel, thank you very much for another great holiday, you really do make it special.

FANTASTIC AUGUST 2025 HOLIDAY A beautiful location close to Almeria and a 2 hour drive from Malaga, we rented a car with enterprise that was problem free. We went with our 3 daughters all under 10 and had an amazing holiday. We had a cowboy themed family room which was fun as lots of westerns have been filmed in the area due to the landscape. 2 bathrooms, two double beds side by side and a double decker carriage/bus bunk bed along with all the usual bits you would expect in a room. The balcony had the most beautiful view of the beach and mountains. Yes, you can see a few other hotels and balcony's but you cant expect to have such a beautiful part of the world all to yourself. The hotel was clean, and the staff were always polite and helpful, kitchen staff, entertainment staff, waiters, cleaners, reception staff and pool staff were all so friendly. We went all inclusive for 5 nights-6 days. 4 meals a day with a different and great selection every meal (the basics are always the same or similar for example eggs, bacon, beans, sausages for the breakfast) but there are always additional different options. Coffee, tea and hot chocolates always available at the bar or during dine time, so no need for kettle in our bedroom. The desserts are very well varied and alot of the food is similar to something you would pay good money for from a top rated restaurant. My eldest daughter would've liked maybe one more vegetarian option on the evening meal like lasagne or cheesy pasta but that's us being super picky as she ate well every meal, that was the only thing we could think of. The beach was just outside the hotels grounds, a 20 minute walk up the beach brings you to the jetski, parasailing and boat rides etc, with nice little tapas huts and stalls along the way but not too crowded with traders. The hotel is a 10 minute drive away from an aquapark called Mariopark. Again, a great place to enjoy the slides and water in the scorching Spanish sun. We all sat down as a family and tried to think of anything we could have changed and honestly, we struggled. Everything was just what you would want from a holiday. There was entertainment staff looking after children in kids club and everynight there was a different themed entertainment to enjoy from from a lion king show, live music, family games, karaoke and fun Spanish games. The pools and poolside were perfect, a small pool for toddlers with 3 small slides, a medium sized pool suitable for kids from around 5 to 18 (lots of adults also having fun on the slides, including me and my wife) with bigger slides and a main pool for everyone, where everyday the staff put on something like a water zumba or other fun and games. Waterfalls, fountains, poolside showers, plenty of deck chairs without any squabbling, everything that you need and more. I used the gym everyday, it had all the basics needed for cardio and free weights. There was an indoor pool that was closed as it was out of season for it but we definitel

Our 1st day here & so far we are enjoying it so much. I mentioned at reception that we were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday & few hours later a bottle of bubbly was delivered to our room. So unexpected but yet so thoughtful. My husband loved it! I didn’t get the receptionist name but he was German and an absolute gem! He upgraded us to a sea view room which is extremely beautiful. Food is not bad, granted we are used to bigger varieties but can’t complain. We are not big eaters. Oh I had the indoor pool all to myself today, which is very rare!

The room was on the first floor, and the lobby was on the fourth floor. The room was of a decent size, and the main thing was that it had a balcony with a pull-out rope for drying clothes, which was great. The sea view was right when you opened the window.

The location was amazing as it was right across from the beach. It is isolated from the rest of the town so to access other shops and restaurant is about a 20-25 walk. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was good but the dinner buffet needed more options. The room and facilities were clean. The bed in the room could have been more comfortable. It was very helpful that parking was free and right in front of the hotel lobby.

It was my first time holiday in Spain with my two sons (ages 10 yr old and 8 yr old) and we are first-timers. And we fall in love with Spain already, especially here in Playadulce Hotel Almeria. My children and I stayed here for 6 nights and 7 days. Two of the best features I would like to share is that all the staff from reception down to the restaurant is very welcoming, accommodating, kind, friendly. Overall, they are amazing staffs especially Daniel, from the reception. The customer service I received from him was beyond my imagination. He went on to give the customer an extra mile. After three nights of our stay, we had a water problem on our floor. First, he asked me if I wanted to move to a different floor, and offered me, but I declined as my 8-year-old son was excited to go swimming on the pool. And then, I realised we don't have water in our room to take a shower. So, I went to the reception again, and I asked Daniel if the offer was still on. And to my surprised, he upgraded us into a family theme room, more better view and much more spacious that I ended up sleeping in such a massive bed on my own with my cosy blanket and pillow while my two sons, they were sleeping on their own bed in which a bus bunkbed and they both loved it. The hotel is fabulously clean. Cleaner had done so well in cleaning our room every other day instead of every day (my choice). The location is perfect for us as the beach is only 2 mins walk and restaurants and cafe on the side road. The food was incredibly tasty and delicious, especially the pork ribs cooked in a tomato sauce. My two sons loved their pancakes every day with choros and fresh omellet with ham and cheese every breakfast. They also enjoyed their margarita pizza as always. There was also a cooking show in the hotel where you can choose either meat or fish and seafood and ask the chef to cook it for you. Overall, my children and I are one happy and satisfied customers. And they wanted to go back here for our next holiday, God willing on August or October. I highly recommend Playadulce Hotel Almeria for a family holiday.

Don't let the negative views put you off this is a Superb Hotel with Friendly Staff and a Clean Environment, the food is in abundance and there is something for everyone if you can upgrade to a Superior Room they have sea views and are comfy. Give it a go it won't disappoint.
