Burgos, Calle Fernan Gonzalez, 72 🧭 Map
It is the best-located hotel to walk to the Brgos Cathedral and city centre attractions.
It has a luxurious atmosphere and is a clean hotel.
You have to pay for parking, but you can find free parking around the hotel.
But need to check with the hotel.
Close to attractions. The hotel is huge. Breakfast was good too.
I always go to ABBA, it's a guarantee
Comfortable beds and pillows, friendly staff, and secure parking for our motorbikes. The catedral burger was phenomenal, never had a burger like it.
The hotel is very conveniently located, we also appreciated the private parking with an electric charge for our car. The fitness and pool are nice, we will definitely come again and take more time to enjoy the hotel.
Plus: Spacious, clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, good breakfast and very good hotel restaurant, menu was delicious.
Location near cathedral and city.
Minus: breakfast room too small for such a big hotel, atmosphere gets hectic quickly;
service in the Cafeteria either too slow or simply absent.
Wardrobe too small.
Key cards for the room didn’t work more than 4 times.

Mordern styled hotel in a goof location just a few minues walk from the main square. Underground paking availble for arounf €15. However the garage is extremely tight. Modern rooms but didn't find the bed comfortable.
Easy to get in by car. It's a few minutes walk from the historical city center. The breakfast was quite mediocre though.
The hotel needs a renovation. The beds are hard and furniture is uncomfortable. Did not get housekeeping service. I visited the hotel 3 years ago and is not the same. I will stay elsewhere for my next visit.
Very friendly welcome by one particular individual although rest of the reception staff not particularly friendly. Room was nice but twin beds touching and not easy to move. The coffee machine was broken and rather than replace it we had to request hot drinks from reception. Overall a good hotel in a central location.
Very welcoming and friendly check-in experience. Great location and lovely room. Only criticism is that the twin beds are not separated at all and we had to completely rearrange the room ourselves to make space between the beds.
The stay was okay but I have to mention multiple downsides.
CONS:
- the parking is expensive (16.50€ per night), there is no surveillance and the path leading downstairs is very narrow. The walls show marks from different cars.
- I had to request a room change twice. The first room was already occupied by another person. The second room had a bathtub full of body hair. The third room was finally ok...

Hotel is nicely kept - modern, clean and spacious. The cloister area linked to the hotel makes it a unique staying experience. It is within walking distance to the old town, very convenient indeed. Reception staff was most friendly and helpful. We even had a dinner at the restaurant. Good value for money. And they start serving dinner at 7pm! A big plus for me.
What a wonderful hotel! We were blown away by the staff, the accommodations, the view, the breakfast, the service, the staff, the location -- every last part. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and stay in Burgos - what a marvelous city!!! It was only made more enjoyable by our stay at this wonderful hotel! Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful!!
Enjoyed our 1 night stay. Convenient parking on property (extra charge). Great location - 5 min walk from the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor. Quirky and cute room, plenty spacious for 2. Amazing breakfast buffet - set in a beautiful room, great selection of food and attentive service.
This hotel is in a fabulous location for seeing the sites in the city. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast dining has many things on offer, including made to order eggs. Even if you’re not hungry, go to the dining room—it’s stunning! Friendly and helpful staff make the experience 5 star. Hotel is also dog friendly with a parking garage on site. We’ll be back!
This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You can opt out of daily cleaning service in lieu of a drink ticket to be used at the bar. They have consumables in the rooms that are environmentally friendly. The breakfast buffet is incredible, very fresh lots of options and the chef will make you eggs and an omelet anyway that you’d like. Each morning you get to sample a...

Nice hotel in Burgos (dog friendly) which we used on way back to Ferry. In nice quiet location amongst university buildings. Has good asador attached for dinner , not cheap but good quality.
Very good food with a entry where you ge to see the Ovens in which the lamb(lechazo) is cooked. Service was good and fast.
Not much of a rush as we visited on weekdays. But still better to book in advance.
The lamb is simply divine. This was our second dining experience at this restaurant and it was just as good. Great food and service.
We have eaten here several times in the past, but on this occasion we stayed in the hotel. As an “asador” this is an excellent place to taste the classic Burgos charcoal cooked young lamb). The standards are very high with both service and food of excellent standard. The waiters are also very friendly and knowledgeable. As a hotel we find Azofra also to be great. Our room was spacious, clean and well...
Location was really nice next to University. Nice park nearby for my dog too.
Breakfast was nice too.
Delicious traditional Burgos food. The best in town! We ordered 1/4 codero lechal asado for each two people, and it was the perfect amount. Everything was delicious! Everything, the bread, the soup, the wine (house, albeit priced like non-house wine), and especially the cordero and the Castilian soup. Also, the waiter was very nice. Highly recommended.

Hotel Corona De Castilla Burgos
Burgos, Calle Madrid, 15 🧭 Map
Room was very warm, pillows uncomfortable. Good location near Burgos cathedral - cathedral gives a pilgrims blessing with holy water for those interested in the Camino. Many nearby eateries, safe, but thermostat sis not work. Burgos cathedral is very nearby, and neighborhood feels safe.
A decent hotel near Burgos Cathedral. Nothing stands out, but it is a good option. The exterior room with a king-size bed is fine, with views of the street and the cathedral in the distance. Cleanliness and breakfast are decent, and the service is professional. We parked in the public car park further down the road, which was very convenient for 8 euros. Recommended for its quality and price.
Comfortable room and very comfortable bed. Quiet and very clean room. Very good location. Very friendly staff and excellent service during check-in. Large bathroom with all utilities. Perfect place if you want a central location and to rest.
Great location within 10 minutes of Cathedral and restaurants. No AC in mid-April and window did not open so it was a bit warm during heat wave. Beautiful foyer and lots of sitting areas. Only 1 slow elevator. Breakfast was ok and very crowded.
It's close to the station, just a few minutes away from the bus. The room next to the road is a bit noisy. It's convenient but at the same time sacrificing the environment. Overall, it's OK. If you're traveling, it's recommended to choose a quieter room.
The hotel is in excellent location, Burgos is beautiful. The hotel is very clean & comfortable with excellent parking facilities. The lady on reception is a credit to the hotel she was so friendly & helpful during our stay . Would definitely recommend this hotel if your thinking of staying in Burgos

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was tremendously helpful and kind. Our room was small but well equipped, and a nice view from the balcony. Also really enjoyed the breakfast.
Comfortable modern hotel, very convenient for old town . Underground car park has rather a tight entrance
A modern hotel less than a five minute walk to the gate to old town and cathedral. Very quiet, shaded area beside river. Rooms are well-appointed with everything needed to make your stay relaxing. Staff is most helpful, friendly and bilingual.
We have been having a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The noticed it was my wife's birthday at check in and sent some drinks, cheese and jamon to our room as a gift. It was a really nice token.
Room : Nice and Clean. They do not have coffee or teas in the room.
Facility : Gym is small but well equipped with the essentials. There is filtered water. Beautiful breakfast as shown.
Location : very accessible to the city center. I loved the walk along the bridge.
Reception acknowledged membership status and upgraded our room. Room very comfortable. Bed excellent. Pillows were as requested on reservation. Very quiet rooms. Great television. Breakfast was outstanding. Absolutely perfect location to see all the sites. The parking is certainly a challenge but we successfully navigated and parked and Audi S6. Reliable HQ
Have stayed in a number of HQ Hotels and this one was as good, lovely room, great facilities, will return
Good location, easy parking next to the hotel
Great stay, hotel locate out of city, in an industry area, drive 10 minutes to old town.
There is free parking at the entrance of the hotel, it has its own restaurant, and there is not much to do around. The room is a bit old-fashioned, but the space is large, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is good.
Fourth stay here and already looking forward to returning a fifth time. Convenient location for travelling up from Portugal to the UK. Rooms are of a high standard, friendly staff (particularly restaurant staff) who offer great service, and absolutely delicious food. You must visit!
Overnight stop to Santander, clean well presented, restaurant was very good, we chose set menu which was exceptional value for money. Only disappointment was the cafeteria area, the floor was full of litter which was disappointing, we felt we did not want to linger, a sharp contrast to the restaurant which was beautiful

Great castle, lovely decoration. Strange rules about kids and the pool times. Some of the staff seemed a bit out of it. Never really responded to our questions correctly. Food at the hotel was great, although there are many visitors from outside the hotel and guests do not get priority
Well what can I say! we thought the building was beautiful! The reception staff were somewhat unknowledgeable about giving the customer the service they pay for The wrong key to the room was given, The room was beautiful, full of old antiques, slightly worn, and on the negative side, even though we paid for one of the top suites, there was no bottled, water, no coffee or tea facilities. No table ...
This was a nice hotel/restaurant to stop at on our drive from Madrid to/from San Sebastián. We actually ate at the bar twice. They have a nice informal menu. Check out the hotel lobby. It’s beautiful. I imagine local couples using this setting for a wedding.
This is a rather wonderful, rather bizarre hotel that reminds me of old-fashioned English hotels that I used to stay in as a child. The building is quite unique and well-maintained. We loved all the nooks and crannies, and the eclectic furnishings. Our room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was big and functional (even if it looked as though it had been last decorated in the 1980s). My...
Was just a stop over for us going to San Sebastian from Madrid. Good food and nice outdoor area. Large area that's good for a walk in between a long drive.
The location is right next to a major road, and when leaving the main carriageway the entrance will catch you out as it is literally 5m from the start of the exit slip road. The building is amazing, and at first glance it appears excellent. However, our visit was completely spoiled by poor customer service. We let the reception staff know we were vegetarian when we booked a table in the restaurant...

Good location very close to the centre (10 mins on foot) but away from the hustle and bustle. Private parking available on site. Also possible to find free parking nearby. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Location is superb in the middle of town close to the Museum of Evolution. Breakfast was very good but not included in my price like I thought it was.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good option
Great staff; very friendly and Súper helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean.
Breakfast buffet is ok
Buffet breakfast great , staff so friendly and helpful , very clean . Parking a pain but staff as helpful as possible with suitcases and suggestions. Bed and linens comfy . Nice view and so close to cathedral and museum of evolution and promenade. Fruit stand close ! Staff had infused h20 and fruit in the lobby that was nice when we arrived .
The price quality of this hotel is outstanding. We paid almost nothing and got so much in return. I know it was in low season, but still was amazing. I really liked the city and hope to be back again soon. The room was really clean, the reception was nice and the staff was very accommodating and with a great service. June 1-3, 2025. Quiet rooms with excellent A/C and blackout blinds. Full bath includes a tub. Beds are comfortable and room was spacious and nicely decorated. One of the best sleeps I’ve had since starting the Camino. Breakfast buffet was good. Restaurant wasn’t open during our stay so can’t comment. Staff are friendly.
We have stayed here for a stopover, and it was perfectly ok for our needs! Nice and big rooms, clean, good breakfast, nice staff! Good job
Everything was perfect. Very good value for the room (it has all the basic amenities) and the breakfast had everything you need to have a good start of the day.
The hotel is clean but the building is quite old. The location is ok but not so close to the old town which is the the best part of the city. We were looking for restaurants and shops where yo buy free gluten products but none in the hotel reality helped us on that. We expected more in terms if services and facilities from a 4 stars hotel
Great staff disappointed with hotel would not stay again

Clean comfortable room, but the shower door in our room was fitted backwards making the entry into the shower nearly impossible, god forbid you’d be overweight
Excellent comfortable room in a modern hotel. A good varied buffet dinner was available and good buffet brealfast. Petrol station on the site also, Convenient for next day's onward travel to ferry at Santander.
Hard chairs. Comfortable bed.
The hotel was buzzing. Our original impression on going to reception to book in wasnt good. My husband speaks Spanish which is good and understandable but the reception lady took one look and phoned for a replacement. A form was thrust into my hand with no explanation (a new government initiative). The questions asked for name and address then further down asked again...
Would stay again
Hotel was clean. Room spacious. Meals in bar anytime or buffet dinner 8.30pm. Breakfast was basic but ok. Petrol station outside super cheap. Shame about road noise.

Decent option on a budget
Basic but comfortable room with en-suite bathroom. The room stayed warm throughout the night, which was necessary given the temperatures outside dropped to -5°c during my stay. Staff at the front desk and café area were very helpful. One negative point - the wi-fi did not function for the duration of my stay.
Very noisy aircondition.
Sound from surrounding rooms.
Friendly and welcoming reception.
Great location in Burgos.
This hotel is very well located. close to everything. Great restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and I felt that I received more than I was expecting.
There should be a solution for car parking. Maybe an agreement between the hotel and the parking authorities for their customers, if you want more tourists to visit Burgos. I paid18.50 EUR overnight. Shabby not so chic
Overall a lovely place and well located. If shabby chic is your thing, perfect. But shabby chic 20 years later is dates and needs updated.
Good breakfast, nice place
Nice place. The breakfast is good. A problem with the A/C that makes a buzzer sound. I told the clerk about it. She tried to give solutions but it didn't work.
A quaint period design hotel nead the beautiful old town. It has a lift and airconditioning. The corridors and rooms are tiled...which makes it a very noisey hotel. Doors are slam shut.....so late night arrivals and early risers will wake you up. There are only net curtains...no blackout ones...
The breakfast priced at just under €10 is a very basic buffet. Tea/coffee is available 24hrs from machine...
The location of the hotel is very close to the center of Burgos Old Town, a 5-minute walk away, so it is in a good location, and you can park your car safely in the dedicated parking lot.
Really beautiful hotel, very large and warm rooms with heating and Aircon. Excellent breakfast, only 5 mins walk from the old town, parking underground opposite the hotel, 13 Euro charge, the hotel reception has the key fob to enter the carpark. Dog friendly 7 euro per day per dog. Little treat in the room for the dog. Highly recommend this hotel.

Simple quiet hotel, generally friendly staff. Very good location and breakfast. The only problem - parking or rather payment for it. it's a great stop off point when we return to the ferry in either Santander or Bilbao.
This hotel is a little gem. The room I stayed in was a basic twin with a shower room, not a small shower either. Hair dryer ladies, always a plus point. The staff I dealt with were pleasant, friendly always a smile too. Would I recommend this hotel???? Damn right I would every day and twice on a Sunday, I will be back, Burgos Cathedral is a good half hour walk but worth it.
Spacious welll-kept rooms, unfortunately no water or coffee in the room. Breakfast is brief. Very friendly service 👌🏻🤗
Perfect service and very nice room with a private terrass. We had a very delicious dinner and a bottle of vino tinto. This place exceeded my expectations in many ways.
