I was walking the Camino and needed a full rest day, so I decided to stay in this hotel for two nights, rather than in an albergue. It was great to have a private room. This hotel is located to the east of downtown Burgos, in a quiet neighborhood. It is a short walk to the river and then along the river to downtown. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, as was the...
I was on the Camino and decided to stay in a small hotel, rather than in an Albergue. This hotel was a great choice. A quiet place on a nice and quiet village square. A great and clean room, with a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. What a nice treat! It is run by a very gracious and friendly Senora.
Good staff in the reception, professional... The breakfast is tooop. The best in burgos 👍🏼
Receptionists were super-friendly, enthusiastic about helping, and empathetic. They were also well informed about the gluten-free options available for breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic considering the €5 price! Plenty of gluten-free options!
Excellent service from receptionist, who was super friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Would recommend providing more toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner) as well as little conveniences like shower caps and slippers. Personally, would not recommend breakfast - it all tasted quite average, so not worth it for the 5 euros. But then I’m quite picky about food quality; if you’re just going for quantity...
hardly 10 minutes walk from bus terminal, pretty much all the way straight on room was facing main road at back but traffic noise literally zero with windows shut. may be difficult to practice in summer though could use a few fittings here and there but generally very nice place breakfast available for a fiver spot on clean, friendly staff, and speedy WiFi, so nothing to complain really absolutely...

Perfect place to stay in Burgos. You can walk everywhere, so many restaurants to choose from, so many churches and monuments and fun artwork.
We came after a long stretch of the Camino. Staff was helpful and empathic. Price ok for a big city. Position is wonderful and the breakfast generous. Few details on the cleaning (on the base of the lamp and on the floor) but irrelevant for the evaluation. I feel good to recommend
Spacious, clean and really comfortable. Friendly staff.
Nice place to stay on the Camino. Just across the river to Burgos cathedral area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a good breakfast to set us up for the day's walk. We didn't have dinner included and ate out in Burgos. Burgos was really lively in the evening and the Cathedral is spectacular. We will definitely spend more time here when we return.
We had a great night here in Burgos on the Camino. Brilliantly located just behind the evolution museum and only a street away from the river, it was quiet but close to the action. Reception staff were friendly and spoke great English, breakfast was delicious - the best buffet breakfast coffee we have had so far! Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and plush bed linen made for a great nights sleep...
It's conveniently located minutes away from the Cathedral of Burgos and the Paseo Espolon. The room and bathroom were clean and had a modern feel. There is also a little cafe in front of the lobby where you can have a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. They also have an arrangement with a parking garage nearby which was also convenient. If you're looking for a comfortable and efficient place to stay...

Excellent Hotel 180km from Santander. Good food and friendly and helpful people.
Ok. No secure parking. Dogs were 11euro each - twice the price of any other place we have ever been.
I visited this hotel attending a professional event at my enterprise's factory. We ate very typical meals from Burgos such as "alubias de ibeas" and "morcilla de burgos". I can say all the meals were very tasty but i would have liked to have more variety of desserts. Anyway the service was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone who visit Burgos.
Very very good and fabulous servic
It is a nice hotel placed in Castañares. The service is pretty good, with clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant is exquisite, totally recommended. It is affordable and a good option if you're going to stay near Burgos, although you will need a car to get to the city itself.
Is situated near a traficated street but for me was a good position. Clean, good services , good wifi, small rooms. There are several ristorants nearby.

This hotel offers many highlights that made our stay enjoyable: the bathroom was excellent, featuring a fantastic shower and modern design. The room layout was clever and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The location is ideal, close to everything in Burgos, and the staff was extremely attentive and courteous – they really made an effort to help with anything we...
Wahiba was so kind, pleasant and helpful to us, from my enquiry prior to booking to her arranging a larger room so we could keep our bikes with us. She helped us immensely with our bike-shipping problems, and completely saved the day. Thanks!

We arrived in the middle of a major "El Cid" medieval festival in Burgos. The city was amazing, especially Burgos Cathedral. The hotel location was perfect, eventhough there was a street party well into the early morning. I cannot compliment the Horel Receptionist. She was very helpful and courteous ... 5 srars out of 5.
Excellent Front Desk Staff ... very helpful and Professional (Thank you).
Cold water. The room was a bit noisy as it is next to the reception. Still a good nights sleep.

Amazing place, good price, clean and has nice staff. Definetely recommend
Great location for the cathedral and town centre. Small comfortable room
Great location close to Burgos Cathedral. Also very close to bus station. Rooms are decent size. Bathrooms are modern however a swinging door (ours didn’t quite land in the closed position). Stayed on the 4th floor and only had a skylight, which ended up leaking when a heavy thunderstorm rolled thru. The cafe’ in the lobby is good and great service there! Good way to start the morning.
After 175 miles along the the Camino de Santiago, we stayed in Burgos for two days. Burgos is a magnificent town. We booked a private room at the Hotel Via Gotica with bathroom and view. The view from the window and balcony was incredible ... like looking across to the Disneyland Castle from a couple of hundred yards away! We enjoyed both the wonderful hot shower and good soak in the tub. The location...
Location is better than anything else. Very accommodating for our bikes. Comfortable and clean. Stayed here 2 nights and would come back.

✨ A Wonderful Stay in a Beautifully Renewed Hotel ✨ My stay at this hotel was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warmth and genuine care, making me feel completely at ease. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfectly maintained — every detail designed for rest and relaxation. What really stood out, however, was the newly developed area of the hotel. It’s...
We love this hotel and have stayed 3 times before but last night we couldn’t sleep as the heat was stifling. At this time of year, aircon is essential in the rooms. We highly recommend that the hotel adds this facility as the lack of it really spoiled our stay. The location is great, the staff are wonderful, breakfast is good and as I said before, we love the hotel. One small thing needed to...
What a gem of a place. Built on 1909 refurbishment has been done with safety and comfort in mind. The original radiators and door fittings as well as stained glass windows, claw feet chests, vanity writing tables in the foyer. Excellent staff very proud of the preservation of as much of the original building and fitments in use over 100 years on. Excellent location for the cathedral and monuments....
Just returned from 9 nights here to attend the Dance World Cup. So impressed. Spotlessly clean, bedding and towels changed daily. Staff very friendly. Location is perfect for the city and for the Forum if attending events. Very traditional hotel but we loved it.
Great location in the old town, a short walk from bars and restaurants and the cathedral etc. Friendly staff at reception. Good recommendations for local pintxos bars. clean room and bathroom, if quite basic. Also fairly basic breakfast, but can’t complain for the price. If driving park in the underground Plaza Espana car park first, because the hotel is in a pedestrian zone you cannot drive into

Good location, clean rooms, but it lacks a common space and kitchen so there’s no feeling of community or social interaction. It’s good for a night of rest.
Took a rest day here while walking the camino. Was very clean and ideally located to see the sights of Burgos.
Very clean! Good for a one night stay. Parking is very difficult around the hostel.
Great rooms (fantastic shower, comfortable beds), central location. Limited staffing of check-in desk.
The rooms in the Hostal are great, clean and the bathroom is amazing! We enjoyed our stay here alot. Definitely recommended for a few days stay in Burgos in a nice location. Also the owner is very friendly and helpful to help tourists around.
Cozy, clean, located in everything you need in 10 mins by walk, also pretty close to the bus station. The host is friendly and sweet. Absolutely a nice place to have rest during the Camino de Santiago.

A great place to eat tapas with a great price/quality relationship! The service was very fast even though the restaurant was quite full.
Fantastic Tapas selections and absolutely delicious. The cold cuts and cheese selection is also good. Blood sausage A+ for sure.
Tapas Bar with a long tradition, large choice and fair prices. Our standard place after a visit of the cathedral.
I have to leave an excellent review for the waitress named Valentina. She has taken great care of us and not only us but also the clients in the restaurant. It is gratifying see still young and eager waiters. The other guy ( i don't remember his name ) looks very cool, Thank you. We will return Rimbombin!
Very clean, comfortable room, had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good shower. Location in centre of town, but quiet. Great value for money.
Had the Lamb, mushroom, peppers on a skewer with roasted potatoes and salad. Plenty for 2 for a snack. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Great coffee. Nice wine. Friendly staff. Cute decor, locals go always a good thing.

Sometimes it is better to walk through a city than to stay there. As I did this morning. I had booked Romeros on a whim, intuition even. I'm happy to have listened. For as soon as I opened the door I was embraced by the warm ambience and greeting a lot like Pension San.Lorenzo in Najera. Quaint slightly old fashioned style. Good food! The owners, two brothers and there mother, treat you like relatives...

We were welcomed by two very charming people. We were told a very good address in Burgos where we enjoyed ourselves and for a very ridiculous price. The hotel is design, simple and clean, just like the rooms. The mattress is super comfortable, my partner and I slept like logs on it. A very small remark however, the rooms are a little badly soundproofed! However, I can only recommend a place run by...
Beds were way too small for an average Dutch man. No aircon Very clean and tidy overall. Great for 1 night.
Ideal for city centre only a short walk, rooms are clean fine for stopover on a journey.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, gigantic bathroom! No complaints from this Peregrino! We were able to reserve for 2 nights through their website the day of arrival, and have been very happy with our accommodations! Sure, the carpet is a little worn in spots, the wallpaper is having issues here and there, and the walls are a little thin, but it was a very comfortable stay - in a very convenient location
Nice hotel. Not expensive. The Breakfast is great
This is a budget hotel with limited paid secure parking, situated very close to the town centre. The basic rooms were a little cramped but clean, warm and comfortable. WiFi reception was good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is no access for wheelchairs. The hotel has been elegantly decorated, perhaps even sumptuous in places, but this was obviously several years ago and many areas...

A simply wonderful central hotel in Burgos, fantastic staff, inexpensive when booked in advance, clean and comfortable. I've stayed 4 times.

Hotel very well located in the center but without noise. Pleasant staff. Parking 3 minutes walk away and possibility of parking in front of the hotel to unload. Cleanliness in the room and common areas. Comfortable bedding.
It is a hotel that is only for sleeping. You have to be clear about this before booking. It is not for living in the room since it is small and with hardly any outside lighting. If you are clear about this, the cheap price and excellent location are its strong points. The receptionist was super friendly.
I spent a couple nights here, nice stay. The location is close to everything downtown Burgos.
Excellent interior at dining room, classy and understated. Business room was very small but had hot water in the shower and the door locked twice. Staff was very nice and helpful. Could use a minor makeover but for a quick stay or somewhere that's not a municipal for a night on the Camino, it'll do.

The best, most beautiful, pleasant and charming place in the whole area. Quiet, comfortable and luxurious. An incredible decoration, very close to Burgos. The owner, Paco, attended us on arrival, he was already waiting, and better than in my own house. Totally recommended.
