Arena Beach Hotel in Corralejo

We recently stayed at Arena Beach Hotel and had a genuinely lovely holiday.
This isn’t a luxury hotel, and I think its official three-star rating is fair in terms of facilities and finish. That said, I absolutely loved staying here, and for overall experience it deserves five stars from me.
Normally it takes me a couple of days to settle into a hotel, but from the moment we arrived I felt completely at home. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and friendly, and it made for a really easy, restful holiday.
The staff were excellent across the board, and the animation team in particular did a great job. There was different entertainment every evening, which was well organised and enjoyable without feeling overbearing.
Our room had clearly been recently refurbished. It was spacious, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. One thing worth mentioning is that if you’re on the ground floor, you can hear movement from rooms above due to tiled floors. This wasn’t an issue for us as our neighbours were quiet, but it’s something to be aware of.
The pool area was another highlight. It was clean, well laid out and the heated pool was perfect for a winter break. My only small criticism is that the communal areas could benefit from a bit more frequent clearing of glasses and wiping of tables — it felt like the team just needed an extra pair of hands at busy times rather than there being a real cleanliness issue.
The food exceeded expectations. There was a really good choice of proteins every night, including meat and fish, along with varied and well-thought-out side dishes. The themed evenings — Italian, Tex-Mex, Mexican, North African and others — kept things interesting, and we were consistently happy with the quality and variety.
Drinks were simple but perfectly fine for an all-inclusive setup. Beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee were self-service, which added to the relaxed feel. We didn’t try the cocktails, but that wasn’t important to us.
The hotel is a little walk from the centre of Corralejo, but we actually enjoyed this. It gave us a chance to walk things off and balance out the all-inclusive indulgence, and the area itself felt calm and friendly.
Overall, I’d describe Arena Beach as cheap and cheerful in the best possible way — homely, welcoming, relaxed, with good food, comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. It’s not about luxury; it’s about feeling comfortable and enjoying yourself, and on that front it absolutely delivered.
We had a great time and would happily return. I’d also recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, no-nonsense, enjoyable all-inclusive holiday.

The entertainment coordinator Maria and her colleague are brilliant and so easy to get on with! They were always happy to help us! They even told us where to find some local nightlife and recommended some the best local bars in town to visit. As well as this both of the lovely ladies did amazing activities throughout the day at the hotel to entertain everyone! Including little friendly competitions around the pool bringing everyone together!

We love all the staff here very professional and bubbly always happy to have a chat and a laugh with, they even went the extra mile to remember our drinks!

The entertainment put on throughout our stay was fantastic! Varying between a magic show, an acrobatic fire show, Reggae night, karaoke and soul music night!

Can’t wait to return again next year!

We are still here but i wanted to give feedback right away. Dont trust the bad Reviews here, it is clean everywhere and the staff is super nice. You can have beachtowels for a deposit but you can change them free of charge. The laundry room is suuuuper perfect. For every meal there are several options, all are pretty good but usually one is like super great. Just to give some examples like bbq rips, peking duck, grilled tuna filet, they have patatas bravas, pimentos di pardon, mojo verde etc. Also out toddler found something every meal!!! Only one thing that is true the bar doesnt offer like a lot of cocktails and its non branded alcohol… the playground is super nice and no danger at all, there are 3 children pools, one splash pool, one small baby pool heated and a 1,25m smaller pool… it is just perfect here, we will definitely enjoy the rest of out family vacation till January

This was our 2nd stay here and it was just as good if not better. We stayed here for 2 weeks, 8th -22nd October, we stayed in room 147 right at the pool. The rooms were lovely and we had everything we needed, the rooms are cleaned 5 times a week and the housekeepers were so nice and kind, even running to grab me a bottle of water when I took a really bad coughing fit. My husband is such a fussy eater but there was always something he could eat, he never went hungry. The bar and restaurant staff always had a smile on their faces and nothing was to much bother 😍 special shout out to Maria, one of the animation team, her bubbly, happy attitude just had everyone smiling when we heard her voice. Maria and the rest of the team had so many fun activities for the guests that we took part in most days, darts, archery, waterpolo, football etc. At night the entertainment was good, some brilliant singers especially the motown groups, there were magicians, African acrobat etc, something for everyone. There are 2 pools, a quieter one for the children then the one that has music through the day. It is one of the best all inclusive hotels I've been to. Can't wait to get back in the not to distant future. Love this hotel x

Absolutely brilliant stay! It was better than expected and what the pictures showed. Great location, especially if you like walking. The main trip is only 20 mins walk. The food was good too, good choice for vegetarians. Friendly staff and would recommend.

Clean hotel bit dated. Very friendly and hard working staff. Felt bit quite might not be peak season. Food was brilliant loved different cuisines every day.

Lovely big comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Had to pay Euro at pool bar deposit for cup or bring your own. Clean and quiet apartment.

Amazing stay last week. Staff were very friendly. All areas were very clean. One thing you always worry about with all inclusive is the food and I can say it was amazing. Every night a different theme night and all really good standard.
