Nautilus Lanzarote Apart-hotel

On arrival and throughout the week,I was impressed to see how accessible the Nautilus is. We wanted somewhere quiet, accessible and safe. The Nautilus ticked all the boxes. Handrails, ramps, wetroom, accessible kitchen and plugs, etc,. My daughter was well able to get around on her mobility scooter. The hotel only provided breakfast. But it was literally a 2 min walk to the beach, bars,, shops and restaurants. The staff I found to be friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff were friendly and the apartment was cleaned everyday we were out. We were never rushed in any way. No matter what we left lying about, it was not touched. We felt safe there. The sun loungers and pool were fab and well kept. The lift chair into the pool was a big thumbs up. Would definitely recommend the Nautilus, especially to those with mobility difficulties.

This was our SEVENTH time at Nautilus. It is always so clean and well looked after. The whole site is also an impressive art installation in and outside the apartments. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. We arrived on our wedding anniversary and the next day a chocolate cake and bottle of bubbly appeared in our apartment!! That was such a lovely surprise. Despite being very quiet and relaxing, walking distance to the shops, restaurants and promenade in Matagorda is only a few minutes walking. It really is a great location and is also perfect for mobility, wheelchair use around the site as well as to the seafront, shops and restaurants. I thoroughly recommend this as a very relaxing stay.

Absolutely loved this complex . First time visit and will definitely be back. If you're an art lover, this place is for you. Room is very clean and spacious. Had a two bedroom apartment. Great facilities are provided in the room for your stay if doing self catering. They do provide breakfast though not something we paid for/sampled.So close to the local restaurants, bars, and shops. Would definitely recommend for single/couples/families. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative comment is that the pool is not heated, so really cold - brrrrr!

The hotel is in a great location just a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff helpful when approached. There is noise from the nearby airport but it didn't spoil our experience. Afterall it is stated in the hotel description that it's close to the airport. I would encourage people to clearly read hotel descriptions carefully before complaining about something that is plain to see in black and white. There is nothing wrong with this hotel and we will be returning in the near future!!

Lovely clean hotel good location. Only problem when we arrived no one on reception so we had to go looking for someone to help. When receptionist arrived we were told we couldn’t check in until after 3 even though the hotel was half empty.

Fantastic location. Stunning setting. Surprisingly wide-ranging art gallery, art installations and gardens. Clean and well-appointed apartment. Great local amenities. Really refreshing to see such accessibility, particularly for wheelchair users.

Place is spotless. Ideally located with a small shop round the corner. Bars an seafront are between 5-10 mins depending on your walking capabilities. Really great setup up wheelchair users. We were B&B. eakfast was lovely. You even have the chance to have pancakes and hot breakfast items cooked freshly, just order when you go in. would def visit again.

Spent 9 nights at nautilus in matagourda . 1st time in this small town close to PDC na d the airport . Nice stay . The complex was truly accessible for mobility issues although we haven't we understand the demand for this facility . Had a wonderful designer chic feel . Seems the owners have good contact and an eye for style . The reception is also a art gallery . Less than 5 mins into maragourda town centro. About 30 mins walk to PDC or a bus from the top road would take 10 mins . Complex and pool was clean . Hydraulic loft into the pool for wheelchair users . Good patio to bathe in the wonderful lanzarote sunshine and shelter from the lanzarote winds . Cleaning maids to the apartment were friendly but too early for us . Leave it another 2 hours . They came before 9 . Planning to return next winter and happy to recommend d to others .
