Visited during June as a family of three. It's a lovely hotel that's well spaced out, it has several pools, including one for activities, one for adults only and two for kids to play in. Alua suites has a nice range of activities during the day and they don't go around pestering people like other hotels. The staff are super friendly and helpful speaking many languages. Breakfast is buffet style with a huge choice. The drinks bar is competitively priced with local bar prices and the volume of spirit measures are typically large as per Spanish measures. The pool is heated and and a fair size. Rooms are spacious and clean with all the usual hotel amenities (hairdryer, tea/coffee etc )

Stayed in this Hotel in late Nov/early Dec 2021.Found it disappointing. 1Superior rooms not near 4star rating. 2 Room cleaning very poor, Room full of insects,When we brought it to their attention they sprayed room & then handed us can insect spray to continue for next 12days. Having read various reviews both positive and negative we didn't really know what to expect. The resort and apartment were kept very clean and tidy. A bit basic but it was 3 star so that was ok. The food was absolutely fine and kept hot, whilst not amazing was fine for the price we paid. We didn't stay in the bar for the entertainment, bingo was very loud.....I personally didn't like the alcoholic...

Nicely located only 10 mins walk into main town.spacious rooms and well kept public areas.plenty of choice food wise only complaint certain items in cafeteria not well set out....no teaspoons near hotdrinks machine....no butter near bread area and food not always hot. Apart from that i would recommend and i would certainly return again myself.

Staff are friendly enough but don't go all inclusive if possible - the food is very basic (the so-called Chicken Curry was revolting). There are plenty of good places to eat in Corralejo. Family orientated so I also felt a bit apologetic about being there on my own.

We stayed for 10 days H/B at the end of March 22. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The food was excellent and the hotel spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was modern, clean & comfortable with a comfortable large bed. We had a good view of pool. We would highly recommend this hotel as near all bars, restaurants and shops.

Staying here right now, very modern and clean. Nice bottle of bubbly for the wife's birthday in the room.. Never understood why hotels charge for safe boxes in room. Should be no obstacles in the way for personal belongings safety. Enjoying , great food.

I stayed here from the 9th to the 23rd July. The bad points? I didn't find one. This is a very well put together hotel. The owners must be doing something right as the staff here are the best. Great hotel, rooms are great clean and staff are friendly. Massive beds a little hard but I slept well. Pillows rather small and needed folding to give proper comfort. Really enjoyed our holiday. Always able to get the sun loungers we wanted. Food and drink was good. Everyone enjoyed the Italian entertainment guy. Ground floor rooms were great. I'd prefer more space in the shade but the rest of the fam liked it. The fuse box in the room mad a weird noise like the door bell going off at random times and ticks.

Just home after a 9 night stay, 2 adults and 2 children. Although slightly run down, the hotel makes up for it in other ways. Entertainment team are amazing both during daytime and evening. I sent two emails to the hotel six weeks and four weeks in advance of our holiday. Both went unanswered. Just stayed here for a week with my partner. Would return purely on location alone but as far as the hotel goes it’s lacking some very basic things. This is our 14th visit to Corralejo, , staying in 10 different accommodations, but this one is by far the best. Stunning gardens, pool areas and great facilities. The restaurant is excellent and great value. Brilliant staff as well. We are so sad this is our last day but we are planning a return in the Spring.

Relaxing 4 day break in May half term with my daughter. The villas are beautiful and clean. They have everything you could need. The resort is peaceful. The breakfast was lovely. 2 supermarkets are a 5 min walk away. Taxi into centre only €7. If you want a peaceful break away I would definitely recommend. I will be returning.

Just had 14 days here, it's very pleasant, but quite dated. We stayed in the annex part of the hotel, as it was £50.00 per person cheaper. I don't think I'm coming back, but if I did I would certainly stay on the main part of the hotel. It is located right on one of the most beautiful beaches, surrounded by sand dunes and the sea. The nearby Corralejo full of bars, cozy bays, shops is 10 minutes by bus, the bus stop is easily accessible 3-4 minutes from the apartment building. Works well if you just need a bed. The rooms are dated and the food is bad. The curtains in the sleeping room are translucent. Therefore it is impossible to sleep until the floodlights of the tennis court (which directly are pointed at the sleeping room window) get turned of. This usually happens between 10 and 11 pm. Beds are comfortable though and the staff is nice.

Not sure on the actual hotels as just went to the beach. Which I may add is absolutely amazing, crystal clear waters. Plenty of snorkeling to be done. Just a million miles from home. Best part sand dunes just down the road. Now that is a sight if you catch it on the right day. Turquoise waters with deep blue hues. Just paradise.

I stayed here for a week in early Dec 2020 and I can highly recommend this place. Great food, friendly staff, great location, all you need really for a week-long get-away. Location is a bit remote at 5km from Corralejo but you do stay in the nice Dunes and at the sandy beaches (rocks elsewhere on the island). I am currently staying at this hotel and loving every minute. Location is fantastic - beach just five minutes away. Staff are nice, great food and evening entertainment. Super fast wi-fi. There are afternoon activities including painting and ceramics making. Something for everyone!

Would recommend but beware the quiet poolside We stayed as 3 friends in our 20s/30s. The room was a great size for 3 adults. Everything was very clean, service was prompt, reception staff were very helpful. The pool area was very nice, LOTS of beds for everyone, and access not allowed to the pool until 9ish, so nobody is allowed to go claim beds, which is great. BUT the pool area is deathly quiet....

Everything about this hotel is top tier, we booked a couples holiday and in our research before booking most sources regarded secrets as the best hotel on the island. For a super chilled sophisticated holiday we were extremely satisfied and would agree with all the positive reviews for Secrets.

Sorry for the late review, came for the 4th time at the beginning of July and was again amazing, staff remembered from past visits which makes you feel special and are so kind you do feel at home and as a single woman travelling makes you feel safe and not uncomfortable for being alone. Hotel was wonderful, would choose again. Staff in all areas of their work were absolutely wonderful. Brilliant service, cleanliness, quality, not one bad thing to say about anything. It wasn't the height of summer so it wasn't overly busy.

Brilliant 3 night stay Every aspect of my 3 night stay at Surfing Colors was excellent- speedy check in with free (unexpected) upgrade, large, clean room, fab pool area and roof terrace. Food and drink reasonably priced- as a budget option, this accommodation rivalled some 4 start hotels I've stayed in- will definitely stay here again

Well located and nice swimming, we only got given 1 key for Twin room, despite asking for 2nd key. Would recommend staying here overall due to good location for bars, restaurants, and harbour.

Perfect The only thing we found uncomfortable was the toilet door! More privacy required.

Property was well located in the old town, just a 10 minute walk to shops, cafes and restuarants. Downside, sea view rooms get no sunshine as north facing, advised was a gym when filtering through using *******, there is a gym but not at the hotel, it is a 2 minute walk and does cost extra. Access to the roof was nice, but no bar. Towels are not provided pool side. The hotel was lovely and clean...

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Made me feel very welcomed and appreciated and even had a present for my birthday. Which was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise. Hotel is fairly quiet. Even though my balcony was facing the pool, I still managed to get enough sleep since pool’s opening hours are from 10 to 6. I would happily stay here again.

Great accommodation Great accommodation. Loved the free yoga class and free water refill station. Accomodation was clean and a good location. Pool could have been a little warmer but appreciate I was there in January and this is likely hard to achieve.
