We loved interacting with the staff and felt a calmness (consider this hotel in Deià a small slice of paradise) that made our overall experience a five-star one. We favored how they were able to control the number of guests at any one location, whether that be the private beach or a reservation-only dinner on one of their terraces. Their food options were flavorful, but descriptions were missing at times and we needed to do some guesswork (not a problem). Our room and balcony offered the privacy and quietness we look forward to on our vacations too. Definitely eager for the next visit! To the Hotel Es Molí team, continue doing what you do. Cheers!

Make 👏sure 👏 you 👏 book 👏 the 👏cove 👏 in 👏 advance.
We checked in and found out the cove was booked for the length of our stay. Fortunately they were able to squeeze us in one afternoon. The beautiful exclusive cove was the reason we booked the hotel and it would have been devastating if we couldn’t go.
The rooms, the food, the location, and the cove are all 5 stars, highly recommend the hotel, and very arguably more a value for than the Belmond down the street.

Es Moli is absolutely gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the grounds are beautifully maintained & everything is spotless and full of charm. The location itself is stunning, with incredible views all around. The pool is just perfect for relaxing, and I especially loved the convenient shuttle service to the beach at Muleta. Truly a wonderful stay! Oh and breakfast 10/10!!!

We landed in Palma and ordered a car through the hotel to Es Moli in Deia. The hotel is nestled on a hillside surrounded by trees and garden beds: a beautiful mountain resort inside and out. The staff was super hospitable. We ate breakfast each day and dinner at the restaurant twice. Lots of options on the breakfast buffet. Dinner, on the lovely patio, was very good and not rushed at all. They have a great pool with poolside lunch and bar, and towel service. Our room was comfy and clean. It was a peaceful, easy, beautiful place to go for rest and relaxation. They have on site massages, too. Such a good vibe. I want to go back!

Wonderful hotel near the village at Deia.
Pros:
- We got a room with a very big terrace and we could host friends over in the evening
- They have a private beach — “muleta” that has super clear waters, a fantastic kitchen , and they provide transport to / from. Really loved this part of the trip!
- Great indoor / outdoor bar that let you stay there way late
- Amazing views
- Large pool 24 hrs
- Tennis court with a great view and has table tennis
- Really friendly staff
Cons
- Seems somewhat short on on staff, in particular at the Muleta where the waiters seemed very stressed
- Rooms are outdated, not a luxury feel
- No hair conditioner or lotion provided
- Only two bottles of free water when you first check in
- Location is ok but slightly inconvenient as it’s about 15 min walk from the town where the restaurants are

We had the most fabulous Family holiday in Hotel Es Molí.
Relaxing and sunbathing in the gardens amidst the citrus, palms, pomegranate trees, and the occasional Hummingbird Hawk moth was a daily delight.
A gentle stroll into the village of Deià and you're spoilt for the choice of delicious tapas and local cuisine.
The Hotel staff were very kind, helpful and engaged.
Breakfast on the terrace with views of the sea and Mountains bathed in October sunshine set the mood for another day in paradise.

Truly unbelievable experience at this hotel. We went for our honeymoon and the staff and hotel were just lovely! Spent many hours by the pool and the beach access was gorgeous. Walking distance into Deia which was great for dinner. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful views from the hotel. A little outdated rooms but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was okay - nothing fancy. We enjoyed using the pool and tennis courts. Had dinner at the Tapas restaurant one night - it was good, but the restaurants in town were better. Very short beautiful walk to the small town. The service was okay. Highly recommend booking the beach for a few hours one day - it was a highlight for us!

The view and the garden are stunning. 5/5 stars all the way.
However, the service was horrible on all our 5 days at the hotel. Sometimes it was so insanely bad that we thought it was a joke. But it was not. Some examples:
- Staff members simply don’t react at all when you say ‚good morning’. They just look at you saying nothing. 90% of times.
- At breakfast the waiters usually remove the plates from your table while your cutlery is still on the plate. So they slide out the plate below the cutlery so that the cutlery falls of. While doing this they say „finish?!“. Note that they first remove the plate and then ask if you are done eating.
- For one dinner we were a little late because we had to get our baby to sleep in the room. When we came to restaurant, maybe 4 tables were occupied with others guests. The rest was empty. The waiter told us that we were late and therefore he will actively let us wait longer before he attends us. We couldn’t believe what he said. We thought it was a joke but it was not. When he finally came to our table, he gave us a long speech about how you have to be punctual for dinner. It was unbelievable.
And all of this for the price of 417€ per night.
There is a systematic problem with the staff. They need to fix it otherwise they will have a problem long term.

The location is stunning and the views cannot be beat. A beautiful, well kept and very clean hotel. The grounds are spectacular and it just has a special feeling that is hard to articulate it but you know it when you feel it. It’s very memorable and the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is the big but. We were celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary and were simply ignored and not served. It was insulting. We were on the edge of walking out and finally did. They served the table in front of us and then begrudgingly served us only to never visit our table again. Stay but do not dine.
