Hotel Pinomar

Visited in April 2019 in a school trip. So, just a warning, before we get critical, I haven’t visited this area in July, and I suggest it is better.

This place approached to me as an entire hazard. I figured this hotel was struggling financially, hence the unstable staircases (no lie, every single one shakes like jelly) and holy images staring me down at my every step. The paintings gave a vibe to me, as if this place would be amazing for a horror film. One painting I spotted, supposedly cultural, looked like the KKK... I’m still a little baffled.

Food is just your average, bland English food. If you want Spanish cuisine, I suggest you visit a restaurant nearby. A nearby market and a beach is less than a 5 minute walk away.
Also is a buffet like breakfast, but your options run out after 2 days.

The beds were incredibly creaky, cheap material for bedsheets. Most uncomfortable place I have ever slept in. You shouldn’t miss the sunset at the rooftop though, the best views are seen from the rooftop, not your person-small balcony.

Since I didn’t come here in July, I can’t talk much about the pool since it wasn’t filled, but there is 3, I believe. 2 of them are big and 1 is a little kiddie pool.

I suggest this place a renovation. The wallpaper is obviously peeling off, but it’s not in a hazardous way. This hotel obviously needs a complete metamorphosis.

Wi-Fi isn’t as amazing, there are 4 different servers, yet none of them really connect every single time, only by chance.

Cleaning was very regular, and the ‘towels down, towels up’ rule works very well. I also really liked the bathrooms and wide space of the rooms.

Exploring this place was very enjoyable though, hence how I mentioned the creepy vibes earlier. Wouldn’t suggest this place for children though.
