Hotel Caribe

The rooms for single people are disgusting your over looking roofs a car park an what looks like a building site they won't let you change rooms or hotel unless it's at a cost to you. The pool area is a disgrace the food is a disgrace and the tui manager that's running it is a disgrace after waiting all day to speak to him about my room he decided to show up at 7pm never addressed the issue straight away had a few chats with people first offered me a kettle and another room a floor higher which was exactly the same room match box small and advised me to wait till in the morning to see if he could get me a flight I'm 63 years old suffer with ill health I've had no sleep all day or night it's a disgrace I strongly advise that you avoid this hotel the desk staff were equally useless my holiday was all inclusive an it lasted a day

Oh where to begin. The Staff for the most part are friendly, Happy and Polite (with some exceptions we will come to). The Rooms are a Tad Basic and there are some issues for people over a certain height (I am 6ft5 or 1.98m) The Beds are small, the Sheets are uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on sandpaper, No basic Tea or coffee making facilities within the room and the TV offered was from the late 2000s.

The Pool area was clean and Tidy, The Pool itself was Brilliant, over two meter deep so perfect for me.
The Sun loungers on the other hand are very uncomfortable, They are some Plastic/canvas mesh which did not feel comfortable in the slights, We had to go buy our own beach mats to use on them as no Toppers are provided.

The Gym (if you can call it that) was Pathetic, 8 bikes from the late 80s all showing age and rust, No Rower, No Running Machine and the Gym wasent even set up until 4 days into our 7 day trip.

The Bar was great, Nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and happy to talk and have a laugh with.

The Restaurant on the other hand, You have never seem so many miserable unwelcoming and unfriendly people in one place, From the waiters who look and act like YOU are inconveniencing them by simply being there to the Kitchen staff who dont know how to cook.

The food was inedible, EVERYTHING seemed to have been Broiled and left under the hot lamp for hours before its served, everything hot seemed to be swimming in grease and the "salad bar" consisted of Yellow Lettice, Raw Onion and peppers. The Breakfasts where no better, the Hot options are the same everyday and cooked with the same indifference as the dinners are, the cold options where tasteless ham and cheese that was like card, The Fruit, Couple of Bruised bananas an apple or two and a bowl of pares,

We stayed 7 Nights, All Inclusive and ended up eating out for almost every single meal, We always checked the options in the dining room, Was clear that every meal time we would walk in, Look at the options and walk back out and not ONCE was we asked if everything was ok. The Hotel had our money so Could not have cared Less.

Es Canar is a BEAUTIFUL little town such a shame the Hotel marred a wonderful location

The Solimar and Restaurant Es Canar are both Fantastic options.

The room was beautiful, but the staff was untrained and unhelpful. Waited 30 minutes for room service, and when it arrived, it was cold and wrong, long waits at reception, no assistance with luggage, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly, Disappointing
