Hotel Caribe

More than a 3 star hotel. The reception staff are very accommodating and will help you and advise you. The bar staff are also very good. The food in the restaurant is excellent a variety of fresh food everyday. Hotel Caribe is a 4 star hotel at least rated as a 3 star. The cleaners are good and work hard everyday. The deposit for cups is a great idea so ignorant brits don’t pollute the local beautiful beaches with plastic. I have stayed at 4 star plus hotels with TUI as I am a regular customer of there’s and Hotel Caribe was better than all of the four stars I have stayed with. Hotel Caribe deserves a lot more recognition.

Cheapest All inclusive there was. Wasn’t that bad for a 3 star.
Our room (3rd floor pool view) had a connecting door to another room so it was noisy and the walls are paper thin.
Rooms are small but do have a fridge and tv.
Woken up around 6am each morning by the towels on the sunbed folk. Lots of sunbeds left reserved and unused all day.
Food was hit and miss but there was usually always something (didn’t rate the breakfast, lunch was better than dinner). San Miguel on draft. Frozen cocktails were ok. Red wine was decent. Self serve drinks at eating times. Snacks were also decent. A few minutes walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. Staff are all very friendly.
Overall it was good value for money as eating and drinking out is a bit more expensive compared to main land Spain and the canaries.

I have just returned from a week in this hotel. Overall experience was positive. The hotel was clean, the staff were all friendly and the location was perfect as just a couple of minute walk away from the main resort centre and the beach. The food choice at the hotel is what you’d expect from a 3-star all inclusive. Buffet style, lots to choose from, although at times it felt the same so we ate out 3 times for dinner and once for lunch to get some more variety. There is also a snack bar during the day, which is traditional English food (pizza, burgers, nuggets, chips etc, as well as fruit salad and cake in the afternoons). Drinks I’d say were on a the poorer side. I didn’t have an alcoholic drink during my stay so can’t comment much on that, other than I did try a sip of wine and didn’t taste great, and the cocktails were out of a machine which put me off. They do have San Miguel on tap though if you drink beer. The rooms, although small, were big enough for 2 people but would be a squeeze if there were 3 of you. They were clean which is the main thing and comes with a safe and small mini fridge. The air con does take about 5 minutes to kick in and don’t come with a remote control, it’s controlled from the wall. We had a pool view room which was nice, but as that’s where the entertainment is in the evening, not ideal if you go to sleep before 11pm so something to consider if you decide to book one of those rooms. The biggest big bear of the hotel is the sunbed situation. If you want to make sure you get a sunbed, especially one with a brolly (as there is a limited supply), you have to be down for 7-7:15. If you want a bed right by the large pool, I’d say you need to go earlier and queue (as the doors don’t open until 7am). Holidays are the only time I get a lie in, which I don’t get on this holiday as if you left it until 8-9pm when you go for breakfast, you’d not get a bed and it’s only about 3pm when people start to vacate the pool that you’d be able to get one. This is the main thing that lets this hotel down, however I know it’s pretty standard when you holiday in Spain (I usually go to Greece and book self catering so it’s never normally an issue getting a sunbed). We went out every evening after dinner (if we didn’t already eat out) so can’t comment on the evening entertainment, but as your so close to the resort centre, there’s a few bars with music or bars overlooking the beach so enough to do outside of the hotel.

Stayed here 20 years ago and decided to come back with friends and family mid june 25. Hotel location is 10/10 you just cant be in a better place in es cana. All inclusive food was great condidering its a 3 star and they do san miguel lager on tap which is great. Only negative is everything is in small plastic glasses like most all inc hotels so you have to keep going back and fore. We arrived on early am flight and was at the hotel for 10am but couldnt check in until 2pm which was poor when u have children but you can still use all the hotel features etc The most annoying part of drinks was they give you tickets at reception which u hand over for a drink and get it back when u return the cups and if u dont have the ticket no drink. They want 2 euro for a new ticket. Like come on its all inclusive! But positive things are the pool and its great also the baby pool is great. Its a 3 min walk to the main ***** and all you need. We hired a car and went to portinax beach and that was stunning. Well worth a visit. Rooms at the hotel weere great and cleaned every day. Aircon was free and ice cold. We had a fab time and for the money we would 100^•% go back. Its well worth a visit. Remember its a 3 star and in spain so not a massive hotel with loads of ammenities but ticked all the bixes

I’m writing this while I’m waiting for my transfer as my last day. Never have I before been to Ibiza and I can’t wait to come back. This hotel was such a great place to stay for food location entertainment and the beach. The staff were so friendly. The hotel clean. The food was great. The entertainment was some nights to be laughed at and not taken seriously. But then what can you expect from a 3 star.
You are minutes away from the beach bars and restaurants so perfect if you fancied a night out. Because kids are not on holiday it did have a benefit of not having to worry to much about finding a sun lounger after breakfast.
The Animation team Adrian and Christina are a great team for the adults and kids. They both deserve recognition in this review as they are both great at there job for the hotel. I can’t wait to come back next year and explore more of the lsland as well as staying at such a lovely welcoming hotel to all.

Most things about this hotel are excellent..rooms are spotless,food is good,staff are terrific from the cleaners to the animation team..very friendly...one wee niggle I have is the swimming pool as good as it is ..its very difficult to manoeuvre your way around it because it's over loaded with under 8s and they tend to be either throwing a ball or on mini surf boards or lilos...there is an excellent kids pool with slides and so on ..which seems a waste ...as I said its a wee niggle but over all it's a very decent hotel

Stayed here 20th-27th June, me and my wife( both 45) loved Everything about the hotel. There was always plenty of choice of food, nice cooked meats and fish every day, pasta dishes and we even had roast beef an Yorkshire puddings one day, the beef was really good, lots of salad and cheese selection. All members of staff worked hard and seemed friendly. We didn't wake up till 8 every day and just managed to get a sun bed, not sure what it would be like July and August, Es cana itself is a really nice relaxing place, if you are after a wild holiday don't come here, we found a bar just at the top of the road called jungle bar and had pints of cruz campo for 2 euros 50, very cheap for the area, popped in most days 4 a few.I can definitely see us returning in the near future and maybe bring the grand children, thanks again for our stay
