Beautiful historical hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The only cons is the construction of the road in front of the hotel. But it is not the fault of the hotel.

When we stayed at this hotel, the street was beeing rebuilt, so access was not easy. It is well located downtown, near the Dali museum and other interesting sites. Our room was modern, a little dark as we had a small window overlooking and internal courtyard. Our bathroom in comparison was much brighter. However, this location made the room quiet at night. Breakfast was ok, and the staff friendly enough.

Hotel Duran was a great find. Centrally located just off La Rambla with a very welcoming staff. The hotel has been carefully renovated and updated and yet retains its old world charm. Linens and towels were all good and the bathroom had been renovated to contain a walk in shower. Black out curtains kept the room dark appropriately. The optional breakfast was good (13E) with freshly squeezed orange juice. Duran has a lovely dining room and a great set menu. Service was exquisite. We enjoyed our three-night stay there very much.

If anyone shared a positive review I imagine they were paid to do so. This was built up as a reputable establishment, not so. We were charged for food we did not receive and what we did get was not what ordered and what we got was sub par. Don’t recommend

Fantastic hotel close to shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean and tidy. Parking is in an area close by, but they have limited spaces, so be careful. Would certainly use again.

Service service service!! Nothing but exceptional. HOTEL DURÁN and their staff made our stay an unforgettable experience. The hotel is wonderful but their staff is what makes it amazing. From their front desk to their restaurant staff, they were just fantastic. Thank you so much for making our stay a fantastic memory.

A must see for fans of Dali. You can even see the little cellar area he used to have private dinners in. It is elegant and spacious inside, but never seemed to be busy. The service was very attentive and the food was beautifully presented. Was surprised at the wine selection for very reasonable prices. Ended up getting a bottle!
