Where to stay in Figueres

Door to the bathroom is semi-transparent. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Not very soundproof. Nice jacuzzi bath, but not big enough for two. Warm in December. Nice view to the back of the hotel. Breakfast is not up to a 4-star European hotel. Poor selection and not the best quality.

Parking is expensive at 15eu and 20eu per dog the price soon rolls up!!! Breakfast was nice, wouldn't stay again though!!

The hotel is an older style room but with lots of space with a big balcony. We got a double bed for €100 for 1 night and the bed was excellent. Would recommend 5/5.

Beautiful hotel in Figueres. Very clean, roomy, eclectic and close to center of town. Great customer service from everyone at the hotel. Reasonably priced and we would stay there again.

A very enjoyable stay. Nice lady at the reception, large room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Breakfast ok but a bit of a small selection. The window could also be repaired (at least in my room 705).

It was a Christmas dinner on the company. Food was delicious, same menu as every year. Service was perfect. It all was a nice experience

I only stayed overnight. Not much to say. Nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. Close to the high speed train station.

Fantastic hotel close to shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean and tidy. Parking is in an area close by, but they have limited spaces, so be careful. Would certainly use again.

A must see for fans of Dali. You can even see the little cellar area he used to have private dinners in. It is elegant and spacious inside, but never seemed to be busy. The service was very attentive and the food was beautifully presented. Was surprised at the wine selection for very reasonable prices. Ended up getting a bottle!

Excellent experience at the centrally located hotel. Room was clean and air conditioning worked really well. Parking was 15 euros for one night and definitely worth it. Breakfast had excellent money - value ratio with fresh squeezed orange juice and good selection of other treats.

Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless. Bathroom actually sparkled from cleanliness. Bed was comfortable - but it was 2 singles pushed together.

Great atmosphere in this hotel, very pleasant and relaxing, with friendly staff who tend to your needs well. Spacious, well decorated and well maintained hotel with great facilities. I liked the comfortable rooms and the restaurant. They served very tasty food although quite expensive. The included hotel breakfast had a limited spread but actually pretty great quality and taste.

Beautiful hotel just on the Figueres city limits. We had a fabulous dinner at their Wine Bar restaurant, and the service was first class. Breakfast the next morning was awesome, too. This is a great place to stay.

We were most impressed with Hotel Emporda from start to finish. Check-in was ok, although a complimentary coffee would have been appreciated. Why should we pay while waiting! Usually we do not have to wait for long to get served in the restaurant in the evening, but this time we came around 8.30 and discovered a nearly full restaurant and only two waiters trying to cope with all the tables. Frustrating to wait for the first glass of wine for 45 minutes and even longer for the food - which did live up to our expectations.

Dogs are welcome and the hotel is VERY accommodating, great surroundings to walk them as well. Room was large and very comfortable. We dined at the Le Motel restaurant for lunch. An airy dining room featuring impeccable service. We had the set lunch with matching wines. All superb, fresh, imaginative and very Catalan. Molt bé!

Very friendly service, excellent bar and restaurant, particularly for an Ibis Style hotel, clean room with sufficient space. Breakfast was a bit of a challenge as almost everyone seemed to show up at 7:30-8:00. the place was packed and they ran out of cups, plates, bowls etc. Still, would stay here again.

Have stayed in hotel many times, and it never disappoints. Bar service friendly and the meal in restaurant was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

The room was good, the receptionist was very helpful and spoke several languages including english fluently. The weekend set meal was superb, 30 eu plus wine, well worth the money. The waiters were charming and attentive. It was quiet and they allow your dog in your room and the bar area.

New modern updates at a good price. The WiFi didn't work up on our floor the first day but that's our only complaint. :)

Our part of the hotel seems to have been recently renovated so everything is nice and new. There were some issues connecting to the wifi from our room, which the staff served unsure how to resolve.

Great hotel next to the Dali museum. Spacious, clean and quiet served us well during our 2 night stay.

Nice room with A/C, clean, with Internet and nice view on the street from the small balcony. It has a little fridge really useful for drinks in the summer. The room was quiet even during the night and the hotel was very well located, 10 min away from the train station and very close to Dali's museum. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice place for comfortable stay near Dali theatre museum which is on walking distance from here, outer front is decorated with wooden sculptures of animals painted in different colors to maintain the concept of Salvador Dali. Must see when you get to visit that museum. Nice photos you can make, recommend to see.

I stayed in the lovely quirky hotel in November. A good time to go to miss the crowds yet still warm enough to sit outside. The hotel is clean, warm and welcoming. Very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and I would stay Jere again.

Amazing place to start your tour around the city and its surroundings. Good vibes and excellent service. Go for the breakfast and take the stairs so you can enjoy the paintings before going to the Dali museum and the San Pedro Church which are just steps away from the hotel

Absolutely marvellous and the hotel, room and attentive service far exceeded our expectations. You'll love this place if, like us, you're into modern art, Dali and quirkiness. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was perfect. Stay on a Saturday night for the free sardine night on the roof terrace. At the very least, visit the roof terrace.

Pros: free parking, free coffee and hot chocolate, clean and simple, affordable prices. Cons: paper thin walls, so bad you can hear every single movement and word said in the next room. Difficult to sleep. Bathrooms a bit outdated.

It's ok, but in need of some attention. We'd stayed in another B&B hotel the night before, so were comparing the two. This one was on the edge of town in the middle of an industrial estate. Full of trades people, which is where their market is. Rooms are really basic & are a bit shabby, as are the corridors. Cheap, though & the staff are very pleasant & helpful. An older hotel, clean, friendly staff situated in the center of Figueres. No parking at the hotel except for a small parking inside for about seven cars, which is rather expensive. But over all, pleased with our stay there.

Don't expect luxury or extreme comfort but it is clean, functional and located centrally enough to be 5 minutes walk to everywhere but slightly outside of the center as to be also quiet. Rooms are small. Breakfast offered seems ok (I didn't try it though)

A solid 2 star hotel in a good location with a video surveilled parking lot right next to it. Would recommend of you’re staying for a night and don’t feel like spending too much money for the lodging. The mattrass was quite soft, but manageable for a night.

This hotel was perfect for me and my family, Great service and rooms. And the whole hotel was very clean. Only the elevator was a little off. But there is an staircase for the people that doesnt like elevators!

Excellent stay! The rooms are clean and nicely designed, pool is a big plus and the food was just a heaven. We had dinner and breakfast and all was delicious. I especially apreciate the local products. However what makes this place so pleasant is the host, he was just so nice! All our family felt really great at this place and we are gonna be back for sure.

A very pleasant stay! The host was kind and hospitable. The room itself was modern, big enough and clean, the bathroom too. You can stay until 12pm which is a nice plus if you wanna enjoy the pool in the morning. The breakfast was ideal, from crunchy bread to fresh baked egg and french toast. We loved our stay here. We were looking at a place to go with 2 families, have barbecue and swim in the pool. We wanted as much privacy as possible and after a good deal of research, we found this place which offered just that. They charged a fee per person for the BBQ and in turn made an impeccable arrangement - fish, chicken, sausage, veggies, etc. The BBQ was completely private for us.
