There was a concerning presence of pests in both the accommodations and dining areas, including near the food and ON the food. Additionally, the rooms felt neglected and in need of better upkeep, with outdated decor and cleanliness issues.

Really good for a reasonably priced very clean albeit a bit dated hotel. Good food, lovely staff, great location. Will be back!

Firstly, I am surprised that everyday they made our beds and cleaned the rooms. The sheets were really clean. I have been to others hotels that are much more pricey and they didn’t have such white clean sheets. The staff are friendly and they always greet you.
And unfortunately that’s where I stop with the pros. The interior is really old. The bathroom is bad. The tiles are very bad and they need urgent replacement. The bath is not okay too. The worst thing is the dinning hall. There are cockroaches. If you look carefully you will see them. Yes, they are little ones but still. The food is average but I don’t think the hygiene is the best there.
Overall this is not a four star hotel. I appreciate all the good points that I mentioned but still….

Stay here a few times a year. Used to stay elsewhere that was 4 star but was not good. Old looking rooms but very comfortable and toiletries provided. Super super clean,.never seen such cleanliness in hotels before. Staff work really hard and are all lovely. Walls are very thin though. Food is fantastic,. people moan about the food but how can you when you are.offered such variety. Salmon, lamb, duck, all kinds it's fabulous

Very clean, close to the beach and train station. Food was fine, and rooms were cleaned everyday. Be aware, walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours.

Room full of ants.
Restaurant full of bugs.
Food didn't had a great taste.
AC didn't work.
Walls extremely thin, you can literally hear every word from your neighbors and every water drop used at the bathroom.

Location, service, staff, and cleanliness are all great! Night one, we found the beds really hard but went to reception, and they put mattress toppers on within the hour. The bars and snack bar are excellent. The food at the buffet is poor quality, and the dishes that should hot were cold... it was all just gross, and sadly, a lot went in the bin. By day 3 we just started going out to eat.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff couldn’t do more to help you.
As a vegan, the food was very limited, and I loved off salad, veg and riced. There was usually a token vegan dish, like rice, or spinach. On the last day, they had the “vegan dish” sign up with bacon underneath. I bit it, and immediately knew it was not vegan, but actually pig bacon. I asked the staff and they said the “vegan dish” sign hadn’t been removed from the night before. I was immediately really sick and it ruined my final day of the holiday. I spoke to the restaurant manager, who apologised and said he had spoken to his staff. I hadn’t eaten any meat got 25 years. This was a real downer on the holiday.

Just got home from a week at this hotel may I say absolutely lovely the staff location and the food was outstanding definitely going back there xxx

This was our second visit as we came last year. Sadly our experience was not the same! The food was terrible and I heard other guests comment the same. Also I developed food poisoning and ended up in hospital and sick for all of my holiday. When I told reception she completely dismissed it and said there had been no other reports so it couldn't be that. Well I heard multiple people vomiting whilst in my room and the hospital confirmed through tests that it was a parasite contracted via food or drink!!
