Staff seem very jaded and uninterested in serving us. Specialise in avoiding eye contact especially at reception. No atmosphere in hotel. Exceptionally clean. Great breakfast. Nice pool area. Positives didn’t outweigh the unwelcoming aspect of the overall experience first us

Great location! We had deluxe rooms with a comfortable and spacious bed. My minuses would be the paid safe and the fact that the swimming towels are changed every three days. Less than that for a charge. In addition, better sunbeds cost 50 euros per day.

Our stay at Occidental Fuengirola was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is excellent, practically on the beachfront, making it easy to enjoy the seaside and stunning views. With short distances to shopping, attractions, and public transport, like trains to Malaga, our travels were incredibly convenient. Had a lovely stay at the hotel, very clean and all the staff were friendly, food and drink was great. The one criticism would be the we expected a slightly bigger room as we’d paid for a superior room. Overall though it’s a great hotel, ideal location if you want to walk into town , will definitely be back at the hotel next year .

Stay here a few times a year. Used to stay elsewhere that was 4 star but was not good. Old looking rooms but very comfortable and toiletries provided. Super super clean,.never seen such cleanliness in hotels before. Staff work really hard and are all lovely. Walls are very thin though. Very clean, close to the beach and train station. Food was fine, and rooms were cleaned everyday. Be aware, walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours.

Location, service, staff, and cleanliness are all great! Night one, we found the beds really hard but went to reception, and they put mattress toppers on within the hour. The bars and snack bar are excellent. The food at the buffet is poor quality, and the dishes that should hot were cold... it was all just gross, and sadly, a lot went in the bin. Right in front of London disco, which is the most popular place for night life in Fuengirola. Breakfast is generally very good and great variety. However egg dishes were a little bland. Great comfort and beds. Superb cleanliness, great and helpful English-speaking janitors. They deserve a raise.

This is nice hotel situated next to the beach but also featuring nice pool area. What bothers a bit are outdated pool beds and chairs. Rooms are big and well equipped. I love this hotel. Everything is to a high standard. The staff are friendly helpful and respectful. The spa is the icing on the cake with a list of treatments that you can't wait to try. It's close to the town. There is a short flat walk in. So you are not near all the noise and bars of central Fuengirola. It's peaceful. Lovely surroundings. Great view. Has parking too. It's perfect.

We have now stayed there 5 times and it gets better and better. The updated rooms are excellent with plenty of storage space. The balcony metal rails have been replaced by glass so unobstructed views. The hotel exterior has been repainted off white to match the new extension. My husband and I are here to celebrate my special birthday. The hotel Yaramar is so relaxing and peaceful, nothing is too much trouble for the kind and caring reception staff. I think the rooms are very good with tv and spacious. wonderful balcony overlooking the sea front. Bath room has spacious showers. I know there are large rooms in the front facing the corners too.The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English. But I always nice to try and speak a bit Spanish. The buffets are plentiful too. Great pool, jacuzzi and relaxing areas

Lovely hotel next to the beach located in Los Boliches next to Fuengirola making it ideal for mature guests as it is on level ground making walking easier. Staff and service great. Good value for money too. Regular train nearby means you do not need a car to get about. Highly recommended.

Well situated Hotel with a range of facilities. Bedroom was clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Restaurant was clean and well run, good variety of food which was nicely presented. Helpful staff, good bar areas and several seating areas where you could sit and relax in the hotel as well as evening entertainment. Swimming pool and sunbed area was a pleasant place to unwind.

This hotel needs work. The rooms look a little run down, there was some mold in the bathroom and the pool needs a good cleaning by professionals. The pillows smelled like Cologne. The front desk was nice, the breakfast was ok, it was included with our room, but if you have to pay for it I would probably eat somewhere else. We only stayed one night. I would not stay more than that.

Generally not a bad hotel, but it feels outdated, rooms especially. Breakfast is good. Position generally is good, but I have realized that this area has a higher average age of population than I prefer. Generally, the price I paid could be lower for what I got.

We had a great stay here. Seafront location in a nice quieter part of town. Friendly staff. In house restaurant was good with unlimited breakfast and good selection of food - really set us up for a day strolling the paseo. Provided us with a cot for the baby which was clean. My relatives stayed at this place - I stayed elsewhere and visited them. 1st floor they were lucky to get a nice view (on left side of the building). Have what you may need. Pool area is nice and there's a small bar/cafe - only one server, I waited over 15 minutes in the line to get a drink. They had no issues during their 1 week stay.

Good size rooms but very tired and dated decor. Centrally located and in the area it's set in is good value for money. Pool area was lovely.

Although they are remodeling the reception area ( it will look amazing when finished) the place is brill. The pool is a bonus. Heated to so makes it lovely to swim in in April! So close to the beach, shops, train and bus station. Great choice!

Just returned 10/09/17. Not a bad little place for a short break. Apartments are nice enough and all seemed clean n tidy. Shop and resteraunt prices are high on site. Worth going 4km down the road to Fuengerola town where the beaches are calmer, less stones and lots of shade. Resteraunts all along the sea front with really good prices and nice selection to please everyone.

Spotless apartments , housekeeping excellent ,fresh bed linen every 4 days , fresh towels every two days , on site laundry , gym , great pool though it was rather cold in February ! I managed a couple of swims . reception staff very helpful, all staff friendly and helpful . Great having internet in the apartment, and some British telly . We stayed for a week partly through February half term, the weather was good, the pool clean and water checked regularly. Loved Fuengirola Beach. Although it is quiet in February it was an ideal place to stay . Self catering. Woth easy access to beaches. Shopping at Miramar across the road with great shops for clothes or luxury goods. An excellent supermarket for daily supplies .Places to eat and central for meeting friends. With buses and taxis on the doorstep to go farther into Fuengirola and get the train to Malaga...

Whenever my Wife and I visit Fuengirola we always stay at the Fuengirola Beach hotel. Great rooms, helpful and friendly staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Everything you need is within easy reach of the apartments. Just ticks all the boxes for us.

Fantastic hotel in a great location! This is our second visit in 3yrs with 4 kids and 2 adults! Pool and pool bar are a highlight with activities throughout the day! Just a short walk down to Fuengirola promenade and all local attractions! Staff always helpful and the whole place is spotless and well maintained. There is a shopping centre within shouting distance so if you prefer to cook for yourself...

Small and smart hotel on the main road. The swimming pool and grounds are very quiet and well kept. Food is good quality although the choice is sometimes limited. Rooms are spacious and clean. First class staff at reception and in the dining area. Our holiday has been good.

First time staying at this hotel as part of a property inspection trip. Very clean with helpful and polite staff. Our room was on the 8th floor at the front of the hotel and the road noise was too loud fit us to get to sleep on the first night. The staff were very understanding and immediately changed us to a room at the rear where it was significantly quieter. The quality of choice of food for breakfast...

During my Fuengirola stay this hotel was like a home for me… It is really in the center very close to train station and walking from station to the hotel with small luggages was not difficult… It is a very big hotel and the room that i stayed was quité big as well.. Saw La Jabega while on a day trip to Fuengirola. Looks a lovely place to stay. Right on the beach and promenade and an abundance of shops all around. A friend of mine has been holidaying at La Jabega for over 20 years she says it's basic but had all you need and her word is good enough for me.

Stayed here for over three weeks with my family. Great location, with beach just across the road and beautiful sunrise views across the horizon! I stay at this hotel because I like the location and its small hotel with not 100s of guest so i get served quick at the bar and always a place around the pool. Plus the beach is across the road. This is a superb little hotel. The appearance combines a basic charm with original features, and a sprinkling of chic, whilst still being quite simple. However, the best part for me, without doubt, was the staff. Whenever I come here I never leave disappointed. The rooms are nice and clean, notably given the price one is charged. Also the staff there are every professional. They are very helpful and go above and beyond to make us feel like home. We will definitely come back!
