Excellent！ No more other words except Muy Bien!

Everything was very clean and nice, but the air conditioning in the room didn't work, the dinner was too exotic and we didn't like it, they tried to charge us for parking when it was included in the price and we had to leave a €100 deposit to pay for the drinks and when we left they told us it would take 48 hours to return the remaining amount.

The front desk failed to arrange the reserved room. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the room type was changed back to the booked room type.

Wonderful and top location my compliments to all employees. Wonderful place feels like coming home with all the luxury.

With children, I booked a family suite, which is a duplex room. Upstairs is a normal 1.8-meter double bed, and downstairs is a sofa bed. After the sofa is opened by the staff, it is also a large bed. The room can see the sunset, which is great.

The hotel is amazing and ideal for relaxing for a weekend.

Recommended Our stay was pretty good. We had a junior suite. There was nowhere to hang dresses, especially long ones, which I tend to wear on holiday. Otherwise it was fine. Dressing gowns were also provided and the bath towels are huge. Magic! The breakfasts were good, but evening meals a bit samey. We went out for meals for most of the week. The friendly staff checked us in quickly and on our arrival to our room we fond a bottle of Cava and chocolates! This is my second stay (I had to bring my wife to take in the beachfront atmosphere and great location for exploring the shops, bars and restaurants along the beach walkway). This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. The hotel was fine in appearance and the room was standard. The breakfast was too busy and chaotic. The chef cooking the eggs was poor with badly prepared food. The room was very hot. When I asked reception to get someone to look at our air conditioning, I was informed that the hotel can provide either hot or cold air, as it was cool outside, they were only providing hot air to keep the hotel warm...

All staff were very nice. Check in was good bedroom very clean. Breakfast good choice of food. Evening meals were a bit disappointing limited choice. Otherwise very good Hotel.

Enjoyable stay and a few adjustments would make it Enjoyable stay. The hotel is well positioned. Breakfast is excellent. Beds are not very comfortable and bedding is inadequate. Lots of plastic bottles and the pool side bar is all plastic cups. Not Eco Friendly.

Great hotel, very well located, just a stone's throw from the beach, the playground, and a small supermarket. Everything is impeccable: the room, the restaurant, the bars downstairs, and of course the spa. The staff is very friendly, thank you very much to Isabel.

We had a lovely stay here. Very clean, spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Fairly basic, but had absolutely everything we needed. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, convenient for the train station, and has a bus top right outside. The beach is right across the road. Would definitely return.

Spent 5 nights here. Location great for beach and all the shops/bars/restaurants. The staff very helpful and polite. Spotlessly cleaned. Breakfast (only meal we ate in hotel) had loads of choice and restaurant indoor and outdoor seating. We had 3 adults and a baby. Room was quite tight with a travel cot and a settee folded into a double bed settee but a fridge and good air con in the room.

On arrival, i was charged 100E deposit, which is fine but i was not aware of this, then on leaving it took some time to get the deposit back as someone had to inspect the room, and i misplaced my paper slip given as a receipt. be aware of this when transport waiting to the airport! Really friendly staff, lovely hotel but the noise from the traffic all through the night was terrible. Although the rooms were really nice and it was excellent value foroney, the hotel needs to invest in better windows for sound proofing.

very good. I don't understand people's who give bad reviews of this hotel when it's old center, beach 5 min and it has only TWO stars, but the price/quality in this area is super. Very clean room and very comfortable beds. Check-in and out was quick and additional information was provided. Bus and train station quite close. Close to the beach and many cafes nearby.

I will start of by saying great food, lovely pool and clean all over. The only problem we had was one of the life guards. He had a right problem with any English people in the pool. He told my children off for playing with water guns even though the Spanish kids there were doing the same and it was fine for them. He complained that they got people in the pool wet with the guns. Very good family holiday hotel with all inclusive drinks available until midnight and loads of choice of food. Great location near to the beach, bars,restaurants and the train station. The triangular balconies are a little small but rooms are fine.

Cheap and cheerful perfectly fine hotel. Bar staff looked after us, a large group, without any fuss.

I stayed in August 2024 and returned again end of December up to January 2025. Lovely clean, quiet hotel. Has all the basics anyone would need. Perfect for a single person or couple travelling. Situated in the middle of the town… right beside lots of bars/restuarants/shops. 500 min walk to beach, large shopping centre short walk away. Very safe place. Will return again.

We spent ten days in this boutique hotel and would recommend it and we will return . The hotel is very clean and we enjoyed breakfast in the cafe/ bar area every morning. The owner was very helpful and friendly.It was reasonably priced and the location was great , in the middle of the old town and just a short walk to the seafront.

This place goes beyond your imagination. It is a fairy tale. A quiet, beautiful hotel surrounded by flowers with sea sight. Libanese plates are delicious. Staff is very friendly and host has an incredible sophisticated kind of humour.

Had a lovely stay with my sister at the hotel. The staff was really nice. Omar with his (magic) tricks. Carlo(s) always in for a chat. just returned from Fuengirola beach beautiful location stunning views of hills, castle and sea from our very large balcony. We liked the fact that the balcony had 2 sets of double doors from the bedroom and the lounge area. We were a family of 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment which was plenty big enough for us all. My relatives stayed at this place - I stayed elsewhere and visited them. 1st floor they were lucky to get a nice view (on left side of the building). Have what you may need. Pool area is nice and there's a small bar/cafe - only one server, I waited over 15 minutes in the line to get a drink. They had no issues during their 1 week stay.

Good size rooms but very tired and dated decor. Centrally located and in the area it's set in is good value for money. Pool area was lovely.

It was a self catering 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment / price was good but beware checkin was slow and inefficient and checkout time is very early at 10am.

The Apartments were really well furnished, But most of all the staff were excellent and gave great service. Antonio and Carmen in the Restaurant really looked after use really well. The situation of the Hotel- Apartments is good as close to the Miramar Shopping centre and the castle not to far from the beach and easy to walk in or take the bus into town. Decent apartments, very nice pools and pool area. Located 15 min walking from the beach at suburban of Fuengirola. Plenty of free parking spots on the street. Very good value for the price. Recommended for a one-week family stay.
