Áurea Washington Irving by Eurostars Hotel Company in Granada

Fantastic, friendly, professional service from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We had one dinner at the hotel and it was excellent. I have not cracked the code on bed types in European hotels, but whatever indicates two twins pushed together to make one bed, and you want to sleep in the same bed, don't get that. Also, the bathroom in our room was massive and we'll appointed, it had a tub and a separate shower, however the shower, while nicely tiled and a rain shower, was for some reason very small and cramped for a 6'2" person. I would still highly recommend this hotel. The service and facility was excellent. You also can't beat the location.

Probably the best location for the Alhambra, other than Paradore inside the castle. Valet car service was great, all the staffs were definitely 5 stars. Early check in was possible. I gave 4 for service because of breakfast. Quality and contents of food was not upto 5 stars hotel, probably 4, but the staffs working at breakfast time were supurb, kind and sincere. Over all I had great stay for 2 nights

The towels in the room were really old, so it felt less clean. But service was good, all staff spoke fluent English, also gave us some really good advice in terms of meal choices.

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was excellent. However, this maybe cultural but for a 400 Euro 5 star hotel room, there was complementary bottle water only on the first day (told this when we asked for another during our stay), no slippers or bathrobe. The bathroom was poorly lit and the phone was broken. The handout we were given at checkin had the incorrect hours and so the kitchen had closed when we tried to order room service. Mixed bag but disappointed at this price point.

This is a beautiful and elegant hotel located just steps from the Alhambra. The atmosphere is calm and refined, and everything is impeccably maintained. Our stay was extremely comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Five star all around. Excellent location for the marvelous Alhambra. Excellent service, restaurant food delicious and overall great experience. Pricey but well worth it. Just one small negative is that cars have to disembark several meters downhill and it would be nice to have luggage assistance from there. Valet parking though is a nice feature. Highly recommended to visit the Alhambra practically across the street.

Amazing location

I arrived early, but the welcome from the check-in staff was very warm, and the one lady with the green dress, whose name I can’t recall, was super helpful and friendly, making the overall experience much more enjoyable. The hotel was wonderful, located opposite the Alhambra, and perfect for visiting the prime tourist attraction. It’s 12-15 minutes walk into the centre, so not far, however the walk back is slightly uphill and may prove challenging for some, fortunately buses regularly pass through so not an issue. Breakfast was lovely with some really good options. Room was a good size, modern and very comfortable. Additionally, each evening staff drop off a small pack of candy, which is nice. Many pros, but couple of cons: not many restaurants near by, as most are located in the centre, and as a lone female, walking back through the park from the centre feels a little eerie after dark, so best to get taxi/bus back.
Pool is small and not heated, not an issue for me though. Overall, an excellent choice.
