Very close to go everywhere.

Terrible hotel that looks nothing like the photos. We got there after midnight right after we landed, and we had to do the check in with a remote person sitting in some attic probably somewhere on the other side of the planet. It took us half an hour to get someone to answer our call, knowing we had old people and children too.
The rooms smell of humidity and cheap spray perfume, there is no AC, and the windows and walls are super thin. People walking in the corridor could literally see us, since we had no choice but to open the windows.
Breakfast was very poor, and the local staff was friendly.

Super central location, kind staff and the room itself was pretty good - however not the cleanest (including the bedding).

Close to everything.

A key tip if you're arriving by car is to absolutely ensure you request a parking space when booking, as securing a spot otherwise might mean searching for street parking or alternative lots nearby. Location-wise, the hotel is excellently situated, providing easy access to the heart of the city center. We found the hotel to be consistently clean throughout, and the staff were notably helpful and accommodating during our stay. A simple but satisfying breakfast was available, highlighted by the option to request excellent Spanish-style coffees made fresh, which was a lovely touch. Our room itself was both spacious and clean, offering ample room to relax, and we appreciated that the windows could be opened to allow for fresh air, adding to the comfort.

The hotel is very well located, the pictures shown in internet don’t represent how all rooms look like. Some rooms have a very ugly view like the 102. Bathroom is nice although the door doesn’t close, some maintenance is needed.

The hotel overall is very nice with a good breakfast. Very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. A great breakfast was available. Unfortunately the time of our stay (April ‘24)there were road works going on. Thankfully it did not take from our stay

I recently stayed at Hotel Alda Orzan in A Coruña and was thoroughly pleased with my experience. The hotel’s location on Rua Sol is excellent, placing you within walking distance of Orzán Beach, the city promenade, and many key attractions.

My room was comfortable and clean, offering all the essential amenities. I was lucky to get a room facing the interior courtyard as a couple of guests mentioned during breakfast that the noise from the Lolita Bar across the street was really loud and kept them up.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing my overall experience. The breakfast was basic but satisfying, providing a good start to the day. I recommend Hotel Alda Orzan for its great service and location but make sure to ask for an inside room and not one facing the street.

This was one of my worst hotel experiences in 20 years of solo travel. The staff was some of the rudest I've ever encountered, the room was dirty (spills on the floor, hair everywhere, bathroom smelled of sewage) and extremely noisy. There is no soundproofing, furniture is being dragged at all hours, cleaning staff is slamming doors and banging around starting every day at 9am. The shower was cold the second day. The only good thing was the location.

The person there when I checked in did not speak English. We made it work, but it says on the website that the staff speaks Spanish and English and she seemed really annoyed to have to communicate with me. I went up to my room and immediately saw hair on the desk and in the bathroom. I was jetlagged so I let it go so I could nap. It was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. There was so much noise from all angles. The furniture above was the worst--furniture scraping, dragging sounds, shaking. When I gave up on the nap I got up and discovered a big sticky stain on the floor. I tried to clean it and it wasn't coming up, but I did see that the rest of the floor was dirty and hadn't been mopped.

I went downstairs to speak to the staff about changing rooms. The man I spoke to was extremely condescending and defensive. He spoke decent English and used it to talk down to me, like a child. I have never had a hotel refuse to take accountability for something that is obviously their fault. He picked apart each complaint and tried to diminish it by rephrasing what i'd said. "So your neighbor is rolling a suitcase? So you found some dust on the floor? What if everyone came and asked for a new room?" He finally agreed to move me to a different room, and it was no better. The noise didn't come from above, thankfully, but from the cleaning staff in the supply closet on the other side of the headboard. There was more hair in the bathroom and on the floor than in the first room, and the bathroom smelled of mold/sewage. I mentioned the hair when I saw him again, and he looked at me like I was ridiculous. I didn't mention anything else to anyone during my stay, because I did not want to risk being bullied again. He was a pitiful, childish man, and made the rest of my stay so uncomfortable. I had to pass him multiple times each afternoon and he ignored me each time.

It can be unnerving to travel alone as a woman, and while issues like cleanliness and noise can be forgiven (and expected to some degree), rude staff can really make it a sad and uncomfortable trip. Stay at your own risk.
