Hotel Roca Plana

Excellent value for a 2 star hotel! Family run!
Since this place has a hotel and restaurant it has to be reviewed separately…
The restaurant was excellent for the price we paid for… we choose the degustation menu all the dishes were very good. My favorite was the coconut flan, it was one the best i have tried… service was very good and all feel more like family environment, home made food, very friendly.
The place as hotel considering is a 2 star hotel and very cheap it delivers more… its in front of a beautiful harbor and if you get the room with sea view, you will be not disappointed… the rooms are more what you would expect from a two star hotel but very clean. Beds are a little hard, bathrooms are ok and clean, the only really need is to have a bigger tv as its really tiny and old and located too high in the wall. WiFi is ok around 11 MB down almost zero up (no good for video calls)
Parking: need to park in the street, we found several spots without issues but be alert can be busy at sunset…
Breakfast: its very basic, but ok… not sure why others complain, its free!!!

In summary we really enjoyed the experience and would return for sure! I have been in another hotel close by (Flamingo) and i would prefer this one for the friendly staff, quality of food, location and price.

Very nice location, close to the sea. The restaurant and patio outside serves as a good social point, the meals are fine and the prices are average. Very efficient air conditioning inside the rooms, however the building looks a little bit worn out but it still has a good ratio of price/value. The employees mostly don't speak English but they are very kind and you can always expect to get what you need despites the language issues.

Very good hotel. very reasonable.lovely view of the harbour.Staff really friendly food very good also.Highly recommend it.

This is a lovely Hotel,in a non touristy area,.We have a seaview room with Balcony,and in this,you can see the Harbour and sea beyond.
The rooms though not large,are perfectly adequate and are in excellent & clean condition.
Staff although they do not fully understand English (we are after all in Spain) are able to understand very well our needs.
This is an excellent Hotel,well presented,friendly,and in a great location.
The resort is mainly frequented by the Spanish,and all the better for it too.
Hotel in my opinion is better than a 2 star,and certainly by English standards would rate a good 3.
Breakfast is continental,and coffee to die for.
Will we be back! Certainly hope so,and in this Hotel.

We didn't start well, but during lunch it got better. Abundant and excellent food for a very reasonable price. They should have some fans outside, it can get pretty hot. Besides that, recommendable.
