I can't comment on the hotel, but I can comment on the lack of professionalism of the person at the reception. On July 9th we booked 2 double rooms for the nights of August 18th, 19th and 20th. They asked us to make a deposit for the amount of 2 rooms for one night. We arrived on the 18th and they told us that we had not made a reservation. We gave them the voicemail message we received confirming it and the answer was yes, it's me, sorry, I forgot to sign you up!!!. As we had other activities booked in Ametlla, we insisted and they found us a quadruple room for one night at the Alguer hotel and for the other 2 days, as it was 'impossible' in Ametlla, they looked at Perelló, l'Ampolla, etc. etc. In the end we found a professional from the Bon Repós Group (Alguer hotel) who helped us get an apartment......

The location is great, 10 minutes from the beach. The hotel workers are very nice. The bed and pillow were great.
We must not forget that it is a one-star hotel, that is, that they are not spacious rooms, among other amenities that higher-star hotels may have.
The air conditioning makes noise, therefore, I recommend that if you turn on the air at night, you have plugs.
The curtains allow light to pass through, so if you have a mask the problem will be solved.

I have just stayed at Hotel del Port for a week on a work trip (April 2023) and I have been absolutely blown away by the level of service that Macià and his team provide. It has honestly been just fantastic. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful, I think I will return home several kg heavier! Very nice coffee too. My room was on the 4th floor at the back, very quiet with barely any noise from the street. The room has both air con and heating, and was immaculate. Very good wifi too. I was grateful that the staff spoke such good English but I am also glad to have been able to attempt to speak some Catalan and to have help with this too from the staff. The location is excellent, right by the port and with some brilliant restaurants just footsteps away. Highly highly recommend this place.

Great budget hotel on the waterfront. Very friendly & professional staff. Multiple bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. 5min walk from railway station.

We were on our way to Gibraltar and were looking for an overnight stay. The owner came immediately after calling and gave us a room - not big - but very clean. bed was very good. Would book it for a longer stay. I can't say anything about breakfast, as we were already on the move again at 6 a.m. the next morning. Gladly again.

Comfortable, clean room with nice bathroom. Perfect location on the harbor. Staff was friendly and accommodating when I requested a drain plug for the sink. Highly recommended.

simple small hotel. perfect location on the center. you have every thing close. daily cleaning service is good. small convincing breakfast. hotel is managed by a family. the two guys talk English.
