The NH Padova hotel, formerly known as NH Mantegna, is in the perfect location for exploring the city. The historic center of Padua, with its cafes, restaurants, and tourist sites, is only 15 minutes away on foot. The main train station is 900m from the hotel and gives guests easy access to the surrounding areas. The university and business districts are also within easy reach. The NH Padova features stylish and modern design complete with Andrea Mantegna reproductions throughout. There are 190 contemporary rooms with chic leather armchairs and designer fixtures in the bathrooms. These large and elegant spaces feature modern comforts such as workstations, free Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, and minibars. Every morning we serve a delicious fresh breakfast buffet where you can order eggs any style and enjoy a variety of sweet and savory options. The Parnaso restaurant is on the 12th floor and offers beautiful views of Padua from the outdoor terrace. Enjoy one of the local or international dishes al fresco or in the sleek minimalist atmosphere of the restaurant. Our bar is a casual space where guests can enjoy a snack with their favorite cocktail or a try a traditional Italian wine. The hotel also has 8 meeting rooms for up to 160 people.

The receptionist service was terrible. We had to wait ages for our room, and when we finally got up, they gave us the room right next to the hotel's illuminated sign. We asked to be moved, and they told us there was only one room in a lower category than the one we had booked, but that we shouldn't worry, they'd turn off the light later, and that we also had blinds... it seemed like a joke...
The bed was tiny and incredibly uncomfortable...
You'd expect the quality and service from an NH hotel.
We won't be returning to that chain again.

Don’t be misled—this hotel is far from a 4-star experience. The hotel is outdated. The shower was dirty with visible mold, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. To reach the rooms, you’ll have to carry your luggage down a staircase, as there’s no staff available to assist. As for the view from the room… just take a look at the photos, and you’ll understand. Extremely disappointing, especially for an NH hotel. The only good thing is the location.

Room was ok but very dark. To enter the bathroom there is a step, if you are not careful, or half asleep you can trip.

For the price you really can't beat this hotel. The location is fantastic and enables walking everywhere in Oviedo easily, including to train and buses. Front desk staff was very friendly. Only downside was no room service but this is quite common and the location has a lot of places to eat. Recommend the room with the deck view!!

Ideal location to get to know Oviedo, very central, two minutes walk to the cathedral and Gascona street is also very close. The hotel is great, the bed and pillows very comfortable and a good size TV. Everything very clean. To park there are several car parks nearby, the hotel has an agreement with one of them so that something cheaper comes out.

The NH has a central location in Oviedo, and offers comfortable rooms, and very good service. Perhaps the only criticism is that as a fairly standard corporate hotel it doesn't have a great deal of character, but the service, cleanliness, spacious rooms and general comfort make up for this. There is a good choice of restaurants outside if you don't fancy the hotel food, or want to be a little more adventurous. We would be very happy to stay there again.
