Superb hotel La Reconquista is a superb hotel and everyone was most helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. A great base for seeing Oviedo and the surrounding countryside which is beautiful.

Unbelievable place! We were celebrating a wedding day here. Beautiful hall, cozy restaurant, delicious vine and dishes (especially lamb and scallop soup were perfect). Separate gratitude for Cristina, she is very professional and kind, and warm-hearted. Cristina helped us and supported, and was in touch with us all time! No doubt you this place is a must-have.

We had our wedding at Reconquista Oviedo in December. Everything was really great and we need to say a very special thank you to the waiter named Christina ❤️ All the guests were so happy with her and us aswell. Best service ever.

Beautiful old world property with generous rooms and a private terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Beautiful property right in the heart of Oviedo. The staff were especially helpful and kind. The parking was very easy and access excellent. We drive a large car and found the access the best of any hotel in a Spanish city. We must mention Christina in the restaurant who made our evening delightful.

Possibly the nicest staff member at reception I have ever met in any hotel anywhere. I don’t know her name but her manager will, which is the most important thing really. Love this place! Located very conveniently, between the train and bus terminals makes it easy to get to. From here the beautiful city centre is an easy walk. The staff are the best, both friendly and helpful. A great value for Camino trekers and other guests.

Parking is immediately to the right of the lobby behind a gated entry. Due to room limitations they upgraded us to a phenomenal room. Breakfast was decent, but not the same quality as many of the casa rurals we visited on our vacation.

Located next to the bus station, very central and easy to get around

Rooms are clean. Very noisy part of the city and parking is for small vehicles only. Breakfast was good, however coffee machine shut off early and it is completely self serve.

It's definitely worth the value. We stayed for just one night to explore Oviedo, but we truly enjoyed it. Upon check-in, we upgraded to a room with a tub and we were pleasantly surprised to see how it was designed - as if a walk-in closet with separate shower, toilet, and a nice tub with a glass window to the bedroom. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, you don't wanna get out of this bed...

Room was nice, clean. Dental kit, vanity kit and shaving kit provided. Breakfast buffet is well-stocked, with added options from the kitchen, and the staff very helpful. Hotel claims to be 4 stars, however, I would say it is 3 at best. The beds were comfortable, but the entire hotel was humid and lacked fresh air. It felt stifling throughout and you would break a sweat walking from one floor to the next or from your room to the elevator. It appeared the entires building's AC wasn't performing or had broken. What an amazing hotel! We had an awesome stay at Barceló Oviedo Cervantes. The location is awesome, everyone who works there is super friendly, and the rooms were beautiful. Comfortable hotel and friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean but we found it a little too warm. The hotel could do with an update as the decor is a bit outdated. Some very good places to eat near-by. Great to have a swimming pool/sauna available. Not close to the center but easy to get to with buses or a 20/25min walk.

The family room is ample for 3-4 people. Good service and close to Fernandez Vega for eye appointments.

We loved our stay in Silken Monumental Naranco. The hotel is located towards the outside of the city, surrounded by bars and restaurants nearby. Only a 10 minute walk from Carlos Tartiere stadium, and about a 20minute walk from the oldtown. Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Lovely hotel, great views, great staff but not 4 stars. Everything was great. Very helpful and smiling staff. Huge free parking, warm room, good sized room and most importantly, excellent WiFi. My room didn't have the views of the mountains however, if you can choose one, they are stunning. Snow capped and with snowstorms when I visited. Memorable. Great location, 15 minutes waking from city center. Big free parking lot. The rooms are very nice. Big Confortable beds, modern decoration and very quiet. The view from our room was also quite nice. The WiFi was much better than I expected, fast enough to watch Netflix.

My wife was taken ill shortly after our arrival and the staff were excellent helping me get into proper medical care. On our return to the hotel they were again very helpful and solicitous. Don't think they could have been any better! The Hotel is beautifully placed to explore the historical sites of Oviedo.

Highly recommended for the price, quality and location. Perfect. I asked for a very quiet room because I woke up with minimal noise and the silence was absolute. The warmth of the place, the staff always very polite, the impeccable cleaning. Everything. In detail, the days I was there were sunny and it was very nice that the sun set early in the morning, illuminating the whole room.

Apparently this is one of the most historic hotels in the city. However they did an splendid job in the renovations: modern touches that still make the place look historic and old. Studied for two nights. On a business trip. It has either side a fantastic local bar and a great restaurant. The rooms are small but very sufficient for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. What I don't like is the lack of closure on the bathtub/showers as the little glass door always leaked and would cause water puddles on floor and although we would obviously dry the floor, then we couldn't reuse our towels and the floor was slippery for a time as there is no ventilation in the bathroom. Location is unbeatable and the staff is really into making you feel at home. The breakfast is more than acceptable unless you go for some full English, but it makes perfect sense when you come to think of it. The only thing that I did not like so much was that the rooms are in real need of some serious maintenance. That said, very recommendable if you tread on the value for money establishments area

Quite an unusual little room due to its shape, perfect for a few days stay and decorated very nicely. The location is ideal but still quiet at night. I went for work, and I have to say that I liked it. The attention of the receptionists was more than correct, and the room is functional and different from other hotels.

Great value for money. Centrally located in a pedestrian area with many restaurants and shops. There is a car park nearby. They don’t offer breakfast service but there several bakeries and coffees nearby.

Quiet room was a big plus. the View was not the best- looking on the inside. Beds to small and missing one bedside table with electricity plug (there was only one) good was the shower, and think that in General it is great that (most) rooms are wheelchair friendly. For the rest I think they could publish more about the history as it is located in an old part of a bank.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Vetusta. It was good value - a very clean room, a comfortable bed, very friendly staff. An excellent location, close to the park and the old town and within easy reach of the railway and bus stations.

Cannot fault this hotel, the location is excellent and very close to old town. Rooms nice size and well appointed although maybe a set of drawers would be better. Staff are great and made us feel very welcome. The bar area is more like a cafe but again staff good and good choice of beverages

Generally I was quite dissatisfied with my stay a this hotel; however, the older of the two men on the front desk (bearded) was friendly, professional and courteous. The other guy...not so much... There were two elevators - only one of which served the top floor (6th). It was also shared with the cleaning staff and involved a long wait. We chose the suite and regretted it. We stayed here for two nights before starting the Camino Primitivo. The hotel was in a great location for the Camino and for everything in Oviedo. The room was really clean and had everything that we needed. The standout was the service though - every person was friendly, helpful and willing to deal with our very bad attempts at speaking Spanish. What I found embarrassing is that the receptionist didn’t know A WORD in English. Completely unprepared and we had a lot of difficulties trying to communicate with her. The shower was strange and sprinkled water everywhere, but this is the only thing. The room is really big, bed is cosy, amazing view and very helpful stuff!

All good, we came during the off season for just one night. The reasons for only 3 stars on the room: The set-up of the bathroom is very strange. You can look inside from the main room. I don't mind looking at my partner while showering, but not so much on the toilet. Also the shower was broken and so dirty that the water just shot out in all directions.

For 1-3 nights is good, only for sleeping. For me the room was so small almost felt a little sick. Clean and friendly service.

Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars but I leaned towards 5 as the staff were all very friendly. An inexpensive and tidy little hotel. Clean, modern and with a decent bathroom. Good curtains let me black out the room and outside noise, whilst not perfect, was fine for my stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Be careful to park there a car!! This is really a challange if you have any bigger car than clio or citroen c3 because the way down is very very tight :/

We have spent the night in this hotel, the location is quite far from the center. The hotel is old but well maintained. The only problem is that the rooms were very hot and we couldn't lower the air temperature. Otherwise everything is great

Apart from having a bidet, it has a minibar, glasses, gel dispensers, hairdryer... as I say, the normal things that were offered before, but that have been lost. Ideal to be close to the institute. We went with two children and they prepared a double room for us with a sofa bed. Correct. Breakfast is on your own in the cafeteria, by the way, very friendly waitress.

I don't understand the bad opinions. The price is according to what it has and offers. Don't expect to pay little and have a jacuzzi. Basic hotel, with a corresponding price, perhaps its official price is a little high. If I stay in Oviedo again, I will definitely repeat.

It's a nice hotel in a great location. The check-in across the street from the actual hotel was inconvenient. There is no lobby to relax in during the stay or after check in/out. The bed was uncomfortable.

It's location..location! It's all approximately 10 mins or less walk to cafe shop, market, bar, tapas, restaurant , Old Town Oviedo, mall, and taxi is just across the hotel. Room service is everyday. Housekeeper are friendly but most receptionist aren't. No body said " Thank you for staying with us!" when we left nor to the person before us.

We stayed here 5 nights and it was a great stay! The hotel is in a great location and on a quiet street. The air conditioning is great and kept us cool in the Summer. They have blackout curtains which kept out the sun and kept the room cool. The room had a hair dryer and fridge. Taxis are right out front so very convenient getting to and from the airport. Will stay here again!
