We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. A special thank you to Lenka, who always took the time to chat with us before dinner – it made us feel very welcome and at home. Highly recommended!

We spent a few days at this hotel and we’re absolutely delighted! From the very beginning-the warm welcome, excellent service, and spotless rooms. Everything was top-notch. The rooms are spacious, brand-new, and impeccably clean. The restaurant is a real gem-the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are incredibly polite and professional. The idea of having two pools is fantastic-one in a chillout area, perfect for relaxing, and another with great music for a lively holiday vibe. This is definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

Our stay at Astoria Playa was absolutely wonderful — truly one of those places that leaves you wanting more. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The staff was incredible throughout our stay — warm, professional, and consistently attentive across reception, the restaurant, pool, and bar. You can really feel they care about their guests.
The buffet breakfast was delicious and varied, a great way to start the day. Dinner wasn’t quite at the same level but still very good and absolutely worth it for the price. We were especially touched to find dinner waiting for us in the room on our first night, as we arrived late — such a thoughtful gesture.
The room was spotless and the balcony was the perfect little spot to relax. We also loved the nightly entertainment — just the right kind of atmosphere, very enjoyable without being overwhelming.
Good free parking in the surrounding area.

We genuinely considered extending our stay, and it’s only because of other travel plans that we had to move on. We can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely unique place! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and well equiped. The staff was So nice, kind and professional. They always gave us great tips. Also the food was really good And Tasty. We Will definitely come back one day!

Wonderful hotel, in a very modern style and perfectly clean! The staff is very friendly and mindful, daily room service, safe, fridge, kettle and free instant coffee/tea are included in the rooms. Daily evening shows at the pool area, two pools in total, plus bar, restaurant, gym, massage room and rental bike shop nearby. It's definitely worth a recommendation!

Just got back from five nights on half board in mid October 2024.

This hotel has been a dream.

Rooms:
Very clean with everything you could need. Great balcony size and amazing shower. TV has a good few channels for multiple languages which was a nice touch. Cleaning was top notch, lovely to come back to after a day out. Only thing would say is the doors aren’t very insulated so may hear people, but was quiet for us all week.

Pools:
Both great on opposite sides of hotel so can follow the sun. They are cold but once in are lovelyyyy. Great service with the staff taking drinks orders so don’t have to get up. Plenty of beds which are very comfy too.

Location:
We got a bus straight from the airport to the hotel, took an hour and was around €13 for two! They are just tap on and off busses with plenty of space for luggage.

Staff:
Huge shoutout to the team! Especially Mar, Thiago and Mamuso! Everyone was lovely. Lots of help and always saying hi!

Food:
Highlight of the hotel for us! So surprised at how special this buffet was. Gorgeous different choices everyday and lots of veggie and vegan options which my girlfriend loved. Drinks were great as well, highly recommend the red sangria, mojitos and espresso martini! The food should be enough to make this the perfect choice. We were excited each day to go for dinner!

I stayed 5 nights with my partner at this hotel and enjoyed every second of it.

The rooms are clean and comfy. I booked a room with the bali bed which gave a great view of the quiet pool and entertainment stage. There isn't much privacy on the balcony though as you can see pretty clearly into your neighbours balconies. The bathroom is only separated by frosted glass walls which don't block light properly - kind of annoying if your roommate needs to go in the middle of the night!

There are two pools, one quiet and one with a DJ - we only spent time at the quiet pool. There was no rush to reserve beds as there was always a few free, and bar staff were pretty attentive for you to order drinks and snacks.

The best part of this hotel was the food. So much choice for vegan, veggie, gluten free, and it's all different every day and always high quality. There is a grill station with 2 fish and 3-4 meats that are cooked to order, plus one roasted meat. My partner has allergies and we spoke to the chef on our first night who showed us everything that she could have. Always lots of salads and fruits, plenty of plant milks and yogurts and of course the "safe" chips, pasta, potatoes etc. We stayed as half board, and one downside is that drinks were not included at dinner and get charged to your room, payable on checkout. I think I would be happier perhaps paying slightly more when booking my stay, and having soft drinks/house alcohol included with the option to pay extra for premium branded alcohol when I want, but the prices for drinks were reasonable.

The location is perfect, it is 5 mins walk from Alcudia Beach and has plenty of small shops on the main road. There is a larger Lidl and Eroski about 15 mins walk away for other essentials, and several pharmacies nearby too, and your typical touristy restaurants and bars. There are bus stops within 2 mins walk that connect you with Alcudia old town, Palma airport, Palma centre.

The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to the lady at the desk during dinner service, she can flawlessly switch between 5 different languages (probably more!) and always gave every group a warm welcome and chat. Restaurant staff are very attentive for ordering drinks and clearing dirty plates away.

The Astoria Playa is a lovely hotel, clean and well-appointed with friendly staff. It’s around a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are restaurants, bars and shops nearby, as well as bus routes to Alcúdia old town and other areas.

The food was a real highlight, with high-quality nutritious food on offer for the breakfast and dinner buffets - definitely well above average hotel food. We also found it to be a great vegan friendly hotel, with plenty of tasty options on offer, different every day, and all clearly marked. They also marked gluten free options. It can be difficult to find hotels and resorts that cater well to plant based diets, so this place is a real gem.

The hotel is simply super. I would give it 10 out of 5. In order:
1. The staff and service in general are ideal. Such unobtrusive care and attention are priceless❤️
2. We were on half board - breakfast and dinner. The cuisine is amazing. The cook is simply top 🤌
3. Concerts every evening. And each concert in a new style. A very high-quality show.
4. Alcudia beach is within walking distance. The beach is good, but too many people. We were in August and there were as many people as in Anapa🤣 but the beach itself is good
5. The pools on the territory are beyond praise: the sun loungers are not miserable plastic, but soft beds) The music is unobtrusive, the bar is super - delicious cocktails and snacks. There is a quiet pool, but we did not go to it. And it also looks super.

Total: I do not know the names of the staff, so I appeal to all the hotel employees: you are the best. Thank you for an incredible vacation. We will definitely come back😘
