BG Rei del Mediterrani Hotel

We stayed as a couple and loved the hotel’s peaceful setting and excellent food. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the balcony overlooked a road and petrol station - next time we’d pay for a pool view. The food was a highlight: fresh, varied, and well-prepared. The chefs were friendly, hardworking, and created a great atmosphere at mealtimes. The dining area was always clean and well-run. However, clearer food labelling would have been helpful - I ended up picking dishes I couldn’t eat, which led to unnecessary waste. Customer service was the biggest downside. The front desk staff were excellent, and there were other staff members who were genuinely friendly and made a real effort. Unfortunately, the majority came across as disinterested, unapproachable, and occasionally rude. At times, we actually felt uncomfortable going up to ask questions or order drinks - like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. This really affected how welcome we felt, despite how efficiently everything was run. Entertainment was a mixed bag - some nights were genuinely great, others felt a little flat. Background music around the pool or bar during the day would also be a big improvement - we often found ourselves hearing the louder music from the hotel next door instead. The beach was beautiful, and local restaurants nearby offered fantastic food and far warmer service. We had a nice break overall, and with a few small changes, this hotel could be something special. Best food I have ever eaten at an all inclusive!!! Cocktails were incredible ;)

I spent my vacation at this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help with anything – it really made a difference. My room wasn’t very big, but it was comfy and had everything I needed. The balcony faced east, and we actually used it a lot in the evenings – great spot to relax. The bathroom had a nice big rain shower, which I loved, but the floor often got soaked when using it – something to keep in mind. There was plenty of space in the closets, and the air conditioning worked really well – which was great during the hotter days. There were some ants in the room – not a huge deal, but if I left my backpack on the floor near the wall, they would show up. As long as we kept things off the floor, it was all good. We didn’t really use the pool – we preferred spending our days on the beach, so I can’t say much about it. One thing worth mentioning: our travel agency told us that during the stay we could have one dinner at the à la carte restaurant. But in reality, it turned out to be just a chance to swap a regular dinner for a grill night – we didn’t end up doing it. But honestly, the highlight of the stay was the food – absolutely fantastic! Dinner every night was super tasty, lots of variety, and everything was fresh and flavorful. It’s probably the main reason I’d want to come back!

Brilliant hotel! Staff were lovely and so good, food was amazing, good drink options in all inclusive, entertainment was mixed but still enjoyed it, plenty of sun loungers and didn’t need to wake up too early to get a good one. Would definitely go back

This is the second time I have been here, and was not disappointed, the staff are so friendly and always happy to help, very clean and tidy, rooms are a good size and clean. Great entertainment during the evenings, and plenty of activities during the day, fantastic selection of food and never runs out, no issues with sunbeds, all in all great hotel and would highly recommend.

The hotel was very well kitted out and the staff were some of the best in the business. Nothing was too much trouble. Even our birthdays were celebrated with the help of the hotel. Only drawback and it was minor, was that the entertainment in the evenings fell a bit short

me and my sister stayed here for a week in june 2025 we have really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really clean, storage isn’t a problem and the beds are comfy we had no problem getting a sunbed, they did get full later on in the day but there was no need to go down earlier than 10 (at this time of year anyways) the pool is great and really accessible for those with mobility issues. a wide mix of ages also, not just older couples, lots of young couples, friends, groups, families. the pool activities and day time activities are great and there is a lot of choice every day. the facilitators (roy and marianna) were fab and not too pushy like you sometimes find in hotels. we were half board, the breakfast was good and had lots of options. we did find dinner to be a bit of a struggle some nights. the dinners are themed (arabian, seafood, mexican, american etc). the food that we did have was good quality and tasty. there’s also an option to book into the restaurant in over the road included in half board which is a grill restaurant the drinks were included at breakfast (water, juices, coffees from a machine), however these were shut off for dinner so we had to buy drinks with the meal (haven’t seen this anywhere else recently). cocktails were really reasonably priced at 6.50€ and strong!! the nighttime entertainment was also really good (especially freddie mercury & Micheal Jackson) the beach is only a 10 minute max walk, with lots of little shops on the way selling drinks, snacks, souvenirs etc. the beach does get busy as expected. we really enjoyed the ‘nu beach club’ which is around a 15 minute walk away and has good food and cocktails there is a bus stop close the the beach front with regular buses into Alcudia (15 minute bus), we also noticed buses into palma and the airport which we may have used if we had more time. the staff were all really lovely and welcoming, reception are really helpful with any questions overall, we loved our stay but as two young girls we found there was a lack of nightlife in the area other than a couple of bars so would recommend more as a relaxing holiday

Just returned from staying here. Had a wonderful time. Lovely food with lots of choice, really clean rooms. Great facilities and staff were all fantastic and really helpful.
We stayed in a suite which was well worth it, with a nice lounge area, big balcony with loungers for sunbathing and a whirlpool.
Can't wait to book another trip there.

Good hotel for the price. For three persons the room was a little small and could use some more furniture, but it was good enough for our stay.
It was great meeting my idol MJ. The entertainment was fun.
