Grupotel Maritimo

I recently returned from a wonderful stay at Grupotel Marítimo, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is ideally located, offering easy access to the beach, around three minutes walk, and nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating,always ready to assist with a smile, especially Isidor at the restaurant .The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean.

The facilities, including the three pools and fitness area, were top-notch and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety to start the day. Additionally, if you choose to skip room cleaning, you’re rewarded with €15 worth of drinks, which was a nice perk during the stay.

However, the one downside of my stay was the air conditioning. It was quite noisy, which made it difficult to get a full night’s rest on some occasions. While everything else was wonderful, this small issue did affect the overall comfort.

Despite this, I would still recommend Grupotel Marítimo and would consider staying again if the AC issue gets resolved. It’s an excellent hotel that offers great value for the price!

Amazing stay! Stayed for 5 days (4 nights) in mid September. Good weather and good fill of people. Staff were amazing, helpful and attentive. Special mention to Nina on reception and Alejandra in the dining room.
Room was perfect size for 2 - had a standard balcony room. Really clean and had the right amenities. Amazing rainfall shower - quite accessible to most. Small fridge in the room to cool our drinks overnight.
2 big pools outside (plus kids pool) and 1 smaller pool inside with the gym. Never had to wait for a Sun lounger - could always get one in the sun. Super lovely staff in the bar/ poolside. Good prices for lunch and snacks too.

This hotel is a great place to stay during your vacation.
The rooms offer everything a person would need for their vacation. They try to limit single use plastic so if you need any special amenities they will get them to you.

During your first dinner you will have a table assigned for your whole stay. One thing to keep in mind is that drinks are not included during dinner.

The food is amazing! I probably ate too much during both breakfast and dinner. :) The selection slightly changes every day.

The hotel also supports saving water so if you decline cleaning for a day you will get 15euros for drinks.

The location is not bad and is situated close to the beach. Keep in mind you need to walk about 4 minutes to get there and during summer the beach can get crowded.

The restaurant had a different selection of food every day. Very well thought out for people who are vegetarians or vegans.
There is also plenty of fish and meat 🥩

An excellent place to stay! With a super friendly staff and really good food, it can't go wrong. I had a 2-meal stay (breakfast and dinner), and I ate much more than I should.

It's a family hotel, with comfortable rooms, and all rooms have a view (you barely can see the ocean, but it's a nice view nonetheless). The staff is super friendly, and on all meals you stay on the same table, which allows you to get to know and be known by the staff. I give a special compliment to Rosa, which was super nice to us (me and my wife) well on the meals.

The bar by the pool was also good, and I recommend the paella. It has a very good value for the money (around 15 euro per person). The dish is for at least two, but can easily feed 4 people.

Overall I recommend it. The downside is that the dinner does not include drinks (you have to pay for them). The location is good, but can be a downside if you are looking for a place on the beach (1-2 blocks from the beach).

Very nice hotel, great location - 2 mins walk to an amazing beach and a number of shops and places to eat around. Decent food and good service. Really nice spa and spacious area around the pool. Looks like it’s been recently refurbished - really nice design in common areas and in the room. The pillows could be better and a double mattress cover would make two single beds feel like a double - that is our recommendation. We had to wait for the kettle to be delivered for 2 days (out of 4 we were staying) and the €15 euro for drinks if you don’t clean your room is a bit of a con - we could only get two small bottles of water 🤦‍♀️

Great hotel overall. We loved the lavish breakfast buffet and the live food counters. Also participated in the activities such as archery, darts, musical nights, etc which was a bonus. The location is very close to the beach. Would visit again.

My wife and I spent a very pleasant week in this hotel. Breakfasts and dinner are wonderful. Everything is carefully prepared and for very different tastes. The maids do their job very conscientiously and every day they make sure that you are comfortable in your room. The staff is pleasant. Many small things are taken care of, which make the hotel successful. Because of the flight change, we had to leave the hotel in the evening instead of in the morning the next day. They exchanged our breakfast for dinner without any problems. Thank you. Congratulations on the distinction.

We highly recommend this hotel! A truly 4 star experience. The staff are genuine, friendly and helpful and the food is excellent.

Our room (and the hotel in general) is clean. We highly recommend staying half-board. There are plenty of sunbeds and the location is great for the beach.

There are several pools. We have been pleasantly surprised that there are several vegan options on the menu every day - and there are vegetarian choices too.

We’ve met lots of people here who return year after year — and we understand why. Highly recommended.

Service is top notch, all facilities are very clean, food options are nice and location is ok depending what you’re after. There is a larger supermarket within 5 minutes walk. The other nice thing is the hotel is cycling friendly so we could keep the bikes in the room, plus they have a garage available as well. There is a working office in the lobby and a conference room which allowed me to work properly, including video calls which is a huge plus. Value for price is tough to beat.
