Globales Tamaimo Tropical Apart-hotel

We've just come back from tamaimo tropical, I travelled with my 10yr old son and on arrival i asked for ground floor which they gave us the room was amazing double bed very comfy, tv, sofa and bathroom with toilet, shower and hair dryer. Our room was cleaned every day and clean towels were put in place. There are 4 pools the main pool is big and you are allowed rings but no balls, the children's pool is spacious enough and you are allowed balls and floaties, then there's a deep pool that is allowed balls and floaties, and a quiet pool away from the livelier area all pools are amazing but the floor around the pools can get very hot. The entertainment staff are all amazing they have a kids club with a good variety and they give diplomas out to the kids at the mini disco which was great, they have a teen program and also an adult program which kids could mostly join in with to if they wanted, Peter, neil, and Leo very entertaining at the water aerobics and much more. The catering staff very helpful with glutton free, I asked what they had and was shown straight away and was offered pasta to be made if needed, we also went to the Italian restaurant and asked for gluten free and we had pizza and spaghetti bolognese made on different nights Hassan the chef was amazing and the food was the best. We checked out at around 11.30am and didn't know we had to book the shower as we didn't go the tui meeting at 10.30am the next day so we didn't get to use the room till around 20.45, so if you have a late flight but checkout early you need to book the shower room. We booked through TUI on a great last min deal and were slightly sceptical after reading all the reviews. Ultimately it seems as if many of these reviews are coming from people expecting 5* luxury from a 3* hotel. The positives: -The food was diverse and always warm. -The rooms were cleaned regularly. -The dining area was great and the pools pleasant. -The surrounding area is beautiful with amazing seaside walks. -There is a small, quiet black sand beach literally 2 minutes away with great snorkelling. -The staff were amazing with kids and with evening entertainment. The negatives: -There are plenty of sun beds but no where near enough parasols. -The queue for the bar in the day and night was far too long and they could really do with putting another person on. Essentially do not trust all the negativity. If you have booked to get some sun and relax then this is a great place for that. If you are expecting a 4*/5* experience, then pay 4*/5* prices. It is a great little place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Well I Am Glad Never Took notice of bad reviews could not fault Hotel should be classed as 4 star in my opinion very clean Staff lovely Food choice something for everyone Big Apartment only one I would say need more bar staff as gets very busy but we would definitely recommend and will be returning

Wow wow wow this place was absolutely amazing especially considering the price we payed, the hotel was clean and had endless amounts of entertainment, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly experience. The entertainment team were amazing and kept us entertained all day, shoutout to Neil from the entertainment team who was great and so friendly to us and helped make our stay even more special. The food was great and always fully stocked and genuinely couldn’t recommend this place more, would definitely stay again and sad we had to leave ❤️

We are staying here at the moment and loving every part of it the food is very tasty and the drinks just keep coming the walk into the centre isn’t to bad and it’s just amazing having the best partner next to me as well is making the holiday even more special

Absolutely great family holiday, family of 5 2 adult 3 children there was always something to do especially with the entertainment team with games, music activities and the best man of the entertainment team was Leo he always was friendly and accommodating fun and kind, the hotel we was placed on ground floor pool view stunning well worth a second holiday to this place food great staff great place clean and sunshine what more could u ask for

We are just coming to the end of our week here. We have had an amazing week of relaxing sunshine.
My 5 star ratings are based on the price we paid for a weeks all inclusive Inc flights and transfers. For £600. You can't go wrong. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The restaurant food is acceptable, I would advise booking the Italian on the nights that it is open.
Breakfast is average but does the job.
The entertainment team are excellent especially Jordan and Davide, we particularly enjoyed the pool games and aqua dance.
All in all I can highly recommend a week here for some cheap winter sun.

This has been above all expectations! After reading comments about e.g. long queues, poor quality/selection of food and dirty rooms we were uncertain what to expect, but the stay has been great from start to end. The staff is super nice and helpful, the restaurant and bars had everything we needed and more (bonus for also having a good selection of healthy foods and not only fries etc), and we experienced no major queues for food/drinks nor issues getting a sun bed next to the pools (great to have the selection of one lively pool area and one calmer pool area). We really enjoyed all the activities possible to opt in for from early morning to late evening (a lot of activities and games for both adults and children) and had no noise issues despite having a room right in front of the outdoor stage on karaoke night, so we don’t understand the noise remarks from other reviewers — also, if you are very sound sensitive they sell earplugs at the hotel pharmacy :) The rooms were also very spacious (we had a family room for 2 people) and well cleaned.

For new guests it’s good to note that you need to hang the «please clean my room» note on the door before 13:00 to get it cleaned (we missed that the first day) and that it’s possible to book the tennis court + borrow all necessary equipment for a 5€ deposit if you like tennis. Also, we recommend having a look at the hike to “the eye of Tenerife” (easily reachable from the hotel) and checking out the ocean pool only a short walk from the hotel.

We've just returned from a week's self catering at this hotel. We had no complaints about our self catering apartment or the price we paid for our weeks stay here. The apartment was spacious, it had everything we needed. Wi-fi in our room was great, room cleaned daily. We used the quiet pool as we had a child free holiday but could hear the daytime entertainment. I think if my daughter had been with us she'd have loved it. We could watch the nighttime entertainment from our balcony. Davide was hilarious, dancing & singing along to the karaoke. He's a real asset to the hotel. Will be returning next year & bringing my daughter as long as the price doesn't increase. Came back to cold England Sunday feeling relaxed. All in all a great holiday for myself & my partner.
