We’ve just spent 10 days over Christmas and it was amazing. One of our favorite hotels in Tenerife. Restaurant and bar staff are amazing and all the staff seemed happy. The animation team were great also. Lots of effort was made to make Christmas Day special for everyone. Will definitely return.
The hotel is fantastic in many aspects: an amazing location, friendly staff, excellent facilities, great interior design, and very good food.
However, there is one significant drawback that hampers the overall experience: the WiFi quality. In this day and age, it’s unacceptable to face constant network disconnections and extremely high latency, which makes basic video or even audio calls impossible...
This hotel has a lot going for it. Lovely food, attentive staff, great rooms. So many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The entertainment staff are friendly but don't push you into things. There is plenty to keep you occupied or you can just sit and relax. If you want a busy resort then this isn't for you.
We've eaten really well this week, some all inclusive hotels in this price bracket...
The food lets the place down. Always cold and I had to warm my meals up in the microwave. The rooms were clean and well kept. I asked for a different glass for my gin and tonic at the Hello Bar but was told no as the drinks were far too strong to tolerate in a tumbler glass. We never went to the entertainment bar as it didn't open until 10pm. Opening earlier would have been better. The staff on Reception...
Such a lovely hotel and team! Honestly couldn't fault it at all, we really enjoyed staying here.
Everyone was very attentive and super helpful! The bar staff and waiters were friendly.
The entertainment team were great, and really got everyone involved! Ricky, Anton & Luis were brilliant entertainers, they really get everyone involved and made sure there was always something to do.
We’ve had the...
They had a lot of activities for children which was great. The quality of the food wasn't very good, except the Xmas night which was excellent. Staff were mostly friendly beside one of them, David, which was quite aggressive. At the check-out when we wanted to share our experience with the front desk about that specific waiter, they didn't seem eager to hear the story.

We had really nice vacations, the hotel is beautifully located and I guess that’s the main reason to stay there… But there were some things that were quite annoying, like loud noises of drilling at the pool areas (the bar was being renovated during our stay) or loud music from other hotels at night. The food was mainly ok, despite of that time we got food poisoned (beware of the raw fish during the...
Been here previously, stayed again last week. We keep coming back for the location we love and the stunning views - some of the best sunsets anywhere!
The staff and facilities here are excellent, always friendly. We stayed B&B this time and enjoyed fabulous breakfasts. Pools and pool bar area excellent, though some refurbishment is going on but seems well managed.
The only criticism we would have would...
This was our returning 5th visit to Barcelo Santiago. We usually stay 3-4 night early November. this hotel has not disappointed us yet.
Prior to arrival I emailed requesting a room and to reserve Bali bed. both my requests were upheld. and we had a wonderful stay.
The food on previous occasions was not consistently the same standard. However this year the food was consistently of high standard breakfast...
Barcelo Santiago is my favourite Barcelo hotel and I’ve been to a lot. It cares about relaxation and wellness which is seen across the premises. With delicious food and drink, day and evening entertainment you can relax in the sun or you can join in the animation crews games. This hotel is very personable which as a solo traveler I appreciate. It’s my home from home twice a year and the staff are always...
Stunning hotel in great location. Close to promenade, ocean, natural pools. The weather was much better than in the north part of the island and also it was less tourist. The views from restaurant, room and even stairs between the floors were breathtaking.
The room was big and equipped in lots of cosmetics, toiletries etc. like in 5 star. We were a bit concerned before our stay because we read some...
Thank you so much for making our short trip so memorable. The whole staff keeps smiling and are extremely attentive. The food selection is fantastic and lots of vegetarian options too. Rooms are very clean and the upgrade was worth every penny. Special thanks to Alex from reception for a smooth check out.

We visited in the summer and had a blast! The rooms were lovely and the location was great. Only a few minutes walk away from the stunning black sand beach. The main reason for leaving this review was for the amazing entertainment in the evening. The whole team were superb, in particular, Raquel who my 8 and 5 year old loved and were thoroughly entertained by. Food options were excellent. Thank you...
An unforgettable experience!
I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The activities offered are varied and entertaining, perfect for families and couples alike. Every day, there was something new and exciting to do.
The food was another highlight of my stay. The dishes were delicious, with a wide variety to choose from—everything from international...
We love it here!! Our second stay here and again excellent stay. Our kids enjoy the rope circiut, minigolf and all pools. Very good services in the hotel. Big thanks to Orlando team, when during dinner they wished happy birthday to our kids celebrating their 10th birthday..
We love this hotel! It’s the second time we’ve been back as it’s so great. With 2 pools separated from each other you can have a choice of ‘lively’ or ‘quiet’ depending on what you prefer. Never had a problem getting a sunbed here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great and staff very efficient. A special mention to Elena for being so helpful and friendly when we were...
We’ve been to this hotel 3 times now and honestly it’s amazing all of the staff are friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.
Every aspect of the stay was fantastic. I have felt that each time it’s become even better. This year in particular the food, entertainment and spa seemed to get better.
We loved the queen tribute band, the neon colour party and funfair.
My children enjoyed all the sports...
Really, really great hotel!!
We can say nothing but positive comments about this hotel - what a lovely place.
The staff were all so helpful and friendly. They worked tirelessly all day to keep the hotel clean and tidy and make the guests feel comfortable and welcome.
The facilities were fantastic! Two huge pools, one quieter, one more lively, and plenty of splash pools too for younger kids. The additional...

Having been in other accommodation previously in Gigantes I was unsure what to expect.
However any concerns I may have had were wiped away from the moment I booked in.
Excellent front line staff to catering and room service personnel. Room cleaned daily and good choice of food from the restaurant.
I am glad I have already booked the same hotel in December 24.
Hotel was clean and tidy. Receptionist upon greeting were lovely and very helpful. Restaurant and bar staff were great and Ruben in entertainment was amazing. He had time for everyone and provided what he could within control.
Dino the lifeguard well….. aggressive, slapping his hands to guests when angry, don’t like British female guest. Falls asleep on his chair likes to close the pool early. Leaves...
Last minute holiday booking. The hotel is well located for small shops, the beach (black volcanic sand) and restaurants. A very good, cheap, bus service was available at the bottom of the road.
The hotel itself is very clean, simply presented with very polite and helpful staff.
The bedrooms are simply decorated, with super comfy beds. Bed and bathroom linens were changed every other day. Rooms...
We absolutely love this hotel. Have been visiting 2 a yr for the last 16 yrs and have seen vast improvements. The staff right from management to cleaners are polite and friendly a great credit to Blue Sea Lagos de Cesar. The entertainment this last two visits was absolutely excellent, Dumi leaving will be a big loss to the hotel. It would be lovely to have drawer space in the rooms and air conditioning...
During my recent stay at BLUESEA Lagos de Cesar, I found the experience to be acceptable, though far from outstanding. The hotel met basic expectations, but there were several areas where improvements are clearly needed.
Firstly, the cleanliness of the rooms was satisfactory, but only just. The housekeeping staff seemed to do the bare minimum, with the rooms being cleaned enough to be presentable...
Reception staff on arrival was slow. Two local black sand beaches. Staff in bar and restaurant were very polite and friendly. Animation team consisted of one person and was very friendly, funny and great with the kids especially at mini disco. No sun bed reservation until 10am when the lifeguard opens the pool area. Only real bad but was no play inflatables allowed in the pool.

We have been visiting The Harbour Club in Los Gigantes for 27 years and love ❤ it. Fantastic views over the sea to La Gomera Island. The self catering, clean and serviced rooms, with private terrace and use of pool suit us. There is a daytime cafe/bar, and in the evenings "The Wine Bar" provides great evening meals and fantastic entertainments. Stunning sunset views. What more could a holiday need...
Great to be back at our 2nd home. Love being able to settle in straight away and relaxing in our apartment or by the pool. It's great to see it nice and busy 😀
We stopped for dinner, good choice on menu. Food was all homemade and delish. Generous. They have a lot of live music. Nice views. Great deserts. The waiting staff friendly and informative. Visited 10 years ago, as good as we remembered! 🥩🍔🥙🍟🍢🦐🍧🥧🍰☕🍾🍸🍹🍹🍹

This has been above all expectations! After reading comments about e.g. long queues, poor quality/selection of food and dirty rooms we were uncertain what to expect, but the stay has been great from start to end. The staff is super nice and helpful, the restaurant and bars had everything we needed and more (bonus for also having a good selection of healthy foods and not only fries etc), and we experienced...
We've just returned from a week's self catering at this hotel. We had no complaints about our self catering apartment or the price we paid for our weeks stay here. The apartment was spacious, it had everything we needed. Wi-fi in our room was great, room cleaned daily. We used the quiet pool as we had a child free holiday but could hear the daytime entertainment. I think if my daughter had been with...
We are just coming to the end of our week here. We have had an amazing week of relaxing sunshine.
My 5 star ratings are based on the price we paid for a weeks all inclusive Inc flights and transfers. For £600. You can't go wrong. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The restaurant food is acceptable, I would advise booking the Italian on the nights that it is open...
Rooms are a really good size. We had family room on ground floor overlooking quiet pool. This included a bedroom, bathroom and large living room/bedroom. Air-conditioning. Usb sockets in each plug socket, TV in living room. Safe and fridge in living room. Rooms cleaned daily except Sunday. No bottled water or pool towels are included. Rooms are not sound proof so can be very noisy at night. Large range...
Just returned from a much needed get away for some sun, and it did the job! We don't usually go all-inclusive, but the hotel was coming up cheaper than other options - great for lounging by the pool, drinking and snacking. Location was fine, very picturesque. Rooms were clean, 2 big pools - 1 much quieter than the other so we situated there. All in all, a nice break! No complaints (apart from coming...
Lovely hotel , we had a self catering apartment overlooking the pool. Spacious, clean ,with everything you 2could need. Really comfy beds too. Rooms cleaned everyday. Lots of family entertainment in the evenings, although we didn't see many shows as we usually went out to eat at this time. The hardworking staff were friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel. We traveled to Tenerife at the end of February 2025 and stayed at a hotel a 30-minute drive from the airport. Free parking outside the hotel if you can find a spot. The location was quiet, yet close to pubs and restaurants. The staff, were welcoming and attentive even surprising us with a birthday celebration for my partner!
The hotel featured three pools, including a kids’ area, though the water...
We had a great time here with our 2 year old. The hotel staff were fantastic and attentive when needed. We stayed all inclusive and found the food choice and quality as good as any other all inclusive we have been too. The pools were a little cold but we found the top pool the warmest one of the three. The children’s disco was great but started a little bit late for our 2 year so she had to miss a...
Only stayed the one night as our hotel had an emergency. Food excellent in the restaurants except the vending machine for sandwiches. Bathroom in our room did not have a handle on the inside? The electric flex wire for the Aircon unit had a very dodgy connection with block and insulation tape! Breach of even EU Regs. Otherwise we would stay here in the future. Very nice.
Wonderful hotel! Lovely & helpful staff! Some great entertainment. Clean rooms and lovely food - only criticism would be there's little vegetarian options on most nights - and some items are mis-labeled as vegetarian when it did have meat (often the soup). However, would recommend this hotel for its amazing facilities, staff and lovely location near a natural beach.
Nice enough hotel, though it seems to have seen better days. Rooms were nice. Definitely worth paying the relatively small extra amount for a sea view as it was stunning; especially for early evening sunshine and the sunset. Our main issue was the inability of the kitchen staff to keep the food warm, never mind hot. We tended to eat between 8pm and 9pm and literally not one meal choice was still hot...
We have returned from our holiday today. The hotel is great for families. If you want a good spot by the main pool or the kids pool you have to be up early but there is a third pool that is much quieter.

Had a great holiday. The hotel is very clean, tidy and well run with excellent customer service and response to any issue. The pool is well maintained and supervised at all times. The staff work exceptionally hard, and all the sun loungers are put away at 6pm, and then put out again after cleaning every morning. Fabulous view from the bar terrace of the sea, and shortlists sun sets. Food was...
You get what you pay for. If you want good food, a warm pool and more than a basic room go to another hotel and pay more. We wanted a clean comfortable bed and functional shower and paid very little for the privilege. The hotel has masses of potential but that takes investment; all the while people put up with substandard food and a freezing pool for the sake of a cheap stay, why spend money? It's...
Best holiday I've been on in a long time. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing. Hotel is clean and tidy, food was nice.
The kids entertainment and entertainer was brilliant. Good shows... not a thing I could possibly complain about.
I would visit this hotel again
We've just spent a great week here. The staff are brilliant, so friendly. Great location.. 10 mins walk to the sandy beach and bars/shops. A bit hilly for the less able but only €4 to get to beach. Loved it here.
Amazing hotel, lovely and clean and in a brill location surrounded by some amazing views. Staff were amazing super friendly and always happy to help. Would definitely visit again.
White woodchip.
Bedroom and bathroom great, but they have something other than Blank white woodchip walls.
It serves its clientele, loud, fat, lobster red who eat/drink as much as possible.
Location is actually really good.

Fantastic holiday just far from everything, no games allowed in pool , no entertainment , not really ideal if you have children that want to have fun with floats balls etc in pool but rooms very clean big . 40 euros to get to live areas and 21.50 euros on bus , swimming pools very deep, did not stop children staying in them all day but they would of loved floats or a ball or music 😀 lidl only a little...
Cheap and cheerful, everything you need for a week self catered, quite echo-y if people are being loud, decent location for shops and buses, everywhere is very steep but lovely views. Apartments are clean, reception helpful, pool upstairs is very deep and cold but refreshing. Jacuzzi on the terrace as well with lovely views, drinks are reasonably priced similar to most places, would be good if the...
I was here in January for 1 week. The apartments were clean, comfortable, could do with aircon though, the fans were not helpful. Shower was very nice in apartment. Wear ear plugs if you are not deep sleeper though because of people with suitcases outside checking in and out. Noise above you in apartments too. Comfortable beds. Sunbeds need padding on them or you get back ache! Pools both a nice temperature...
First time getting away from the all inclusive, got to say I was a bit apprehensive about the initial walk up to the place, but the rooms have everything you could want. Very clean and tidy. On arrival you walk up a small mall to the reception area. The reception staff were very polite and helpful.
Our apartment was a great size and had what we needed. The kitchen has a cooker with 3 rings, toaster, microwave so enough so you can cook.

Cannot understand the negative comments. We've just enjoyed a lovely week here and found nothing to moan about (other than seeing a couple of people putting six/seven towels on the sun beds one morning, which had no bearing on the hotel!) The apartment was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable and we were fortunate to have a balcony in the sun. The shower was constantly hot with great water pressure...
£40 a night is ok. Have seen prices at 100 and would be dissapointed. Very basic dated apartment, large comfy beds and spare bed full size. 32" tv with hdmi and only local channels. Local wifi no good for streaming but 4g good in area. No shelf space in bathroom. 1st floor pool side apartments have large private sun bathing area or top floor has private roof areas. Heated pool so not freezing. For...
Rooms are big, and very clean. Cleaners come in every day if you want them to.Outdoor swimming pool. You do have to pay for WiFi. No English channels on telly if you want to watch something late evenings. Don't go all inclusive they do not do food you have to go to the hotel over the round and the food is awful. 10 min walk to the beach and nice restaurants at the front.
Staff are helpful and friendly. The place is quiet and the rooms although basic are clean. I would like to thank Jesus, Janete and Angela for their kindness after my recent accident.
Nice simple apartment with great kitchen facilities. Small pool but very quiet and easy accessible. Place well cleaned and staff very friendly
Great apartments and access to private swimming pools. The man who rented the apartment was extremely generous and flexible, calling to let me know if I needed to have a late checkout it was no problem at all & had left a bottle of wine & some lovely local snacks which I was not expecting at all. The apartments themselves are spotlessly clean & decorated to a high standard.

Breakfast cold evening bar closed every thing else tip top we had a great time hotel very clean and the staff were great ?
Very nice hotel and service. A swimming pool is a good option for kids at afternoon after a trip or beach. Breakfast is good, but they could put little more attention on quality and reduce a variety if needed for a cost.
Very good price/offer ratio.
The apartments are nice, and the view from the terrace is great. Very clean and nicely furnished. There's some noise from the bypassing traffic.
The breakfast is great, with lots of options to choose from.
The staff is very nice.
A Hiper Dino supermarket is located within 100m.
This is reasonably priced and much better than I expected for the price. I will definitely go again. The only thing I thought could improve was the bath could be more nonslip. That's how good it was!
