Checkin Bungalows Atlantida

I honestly don't know where to start! The pictures advertised are not what your going to get! The rooms were not clean, from scummy showers to the previous guests contact lenses still on the bedside table and the dead cockroaches! The first morning we woke up to sharing a bed with a cockroach! This became a theme over the next few days and while I accept tenenrife is known for cockroaches I didn't think I'd be sharing a room with them! Hotels answer was to send a cleaner which never arrived! The rooms aren't cleaned just sheets and towels changed probably once the whole time we were there! Food is typical all inclusive food not great! As you start walking round you can see loose tiles, and paint flaking everywhere! The pools are a joke! There's not just the odd missing tiles there's whole patches of tiles missing all over including the children's pool. The pool has a green scum line the whole way round!!! This hotel is majorly run down! We ended up paying to move hotel out of our own pockets as we couldn't bear another night! We did find the gentlemen on reception to be really lovely and friendly but that really is the only positive to this hotel! We understand that this is a three star and we've stayed in alot of three stars before but this isn't even a 1 star! I've added photos! This hotel needs a major overall as the location is really good

Aa other travellers have already stated the place is very run down,it's 1970s structure is ever preverlant. The accommodation itself is adequate at best. The entertainment at night is none existent, with many holiday makers just looking at each other with a vacant gaze..The food varys are on daily basis,the bake bean sauce reminds of the very cheap beans that Alidi would sell for around 10pence a tin. ALL in All dont have any great expectations for your experience, you get what you pay for.

Where do I start? 1. The receptionist with the big glasses was rude to us, not a good start! 2. 70 steps to our apartment with no lift and no assistance; not good for people who are near70! 3. If you like cold or luke warm food, then you can always heat it up in the microwave. 4. Not allowed in the pool areas till 10am in the winter, 10:30 am in the summer ***. 5. We had to get our safe code fixed 3 times during our stay, which was 7 days! You have to pay for that privilege! 6. The TV, telephone and half the lights didn't work. 7. If you want to play with a ball or have anything blown up in the pools, it's not allowed. 8. The staff are brilliant, they are only followed rules. 9. The photos don't give a true reflection of the place. 10. The location is brilliant. 11. We will go back to the area, not this place, they need to waken up!

We stayed in one of the more newly renovated flats, but, at check in the room wasn’t cleaned, sheaths in a bag. First thing we had to do was to go down to reception and ask for stuff “making the beds and clean”. Cleaning during our stay was “non existent”. Four people stayed in one, actually quite big apartment, but only got one key. The whole hotel area was…well… well worn. Even though the bathroom was renovated water didn’t drain down.

But I’m happy I was with family and enjoyed out stay anyway. Staff was nice and the children had a good time (we were 7 people in two flats).

But I have stayed at better 2 star hotel’s elsewhere.
