Vigilia Park Apart-hotel

I would never return to this hotel — it was a deeply disappointing experience. The staff, in general, were rude and unhelpful, with one lifeguard in particular standing out for all the wrong reasons. He repeatedly prevented my son from using his inflatable and pool toys, even when the pool was completely empty. Strangely, these items are sold at the hotel, yet their use is prohibited — a complete contradiction and very frustrating for families. What was even more concerning was the lifeguard's behavior. He was often absent from his post or distracted on his phone. It was clear that his focus was not on guest safety, which is especially troubling for families with young children who are not confident swimmers. The enforcement of rules around the pool was inconsistent and unfair. While my child was scolded for having toys in the water, other guests were allowed to blast loud music — something that was supposedly also against the rules. This double standard was infuriating. This hotel is absolutely not child-friendly. The lack of supervision, poor staff attitude, and mixed messaging about pool safety make it unsuitable for families. If you have young children or are expecting a relaxing, welcoming environment, I strongly advise you to stay elsewhere.

Initially we thought it was a great place room was clean and presentable. We didn’t arrive till midnight was given information of times the pools open and bar ect but failed to tell us the bar was closed to the next two days for maintance. They refused to open the downstairs bar for guests. Luckily there is a Lidl close by. The first day it was closed no one was there and on the second all they did was paint the outsides which they could have done on a night. We arrived late Monday night and the cleaner came Wednesday. Never seen anyone since for clean towels ect. There is one bar staff lady who is absolutely miserable and attitude goes with it. Food is terrible and microwaved and still comes cold. On the days the bar has been opened it dosnt open till 11am but staff don’t actually open in till after. Occasionally they have music round the pool but not consistently as they forget to put it back on. Over all it’s somewhere to sleep. Wouldn’t not recommend
