Sublime hotel. It has a really calm vibe to it, which combined with the staff’s amazing service, made for a really relaxing stay. The decor is beautiful, as are the rooms. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. You order from a menu so it arrives perfectly prepared and wonderfully presented. Plus it’s huge! The spa is a little expensive, but we had it to ourselves which made it worth the extra expense. I hope we can return one day!

Wonderful hotel in the best location! My luggage failed to follow me to Spain and the staff ensured that I had everything needed for an outstanding stay there.

I am leaving a review after experiencing the worst service.
On February 15, 2024, at 7pm,
While taking a walk to find a place for dinner, I urgently needed to use the bathroom. As there were no restrooms around, I went into this hotel where a Michelin restaurant is located. The staff at the reception was on the phone, so I used the restroom and my husband was looking at the restaurant. When I came out, the staff was standing right in front of me and immediately asked if I had used the restroom. Even before I could finish saying that I was sorry and had to use it urgently, the staff started to criticize me and told me to get manners education. I apologized without arguing, but I had a terrible experience that will never be forgotten. I have never seen a hotel anywhere in the world with such an attitude. The way she scolded me like a naughty child made me feel disappointed even about the image of this hotel and this city.
What are the standards for a five-star hotel?
How can this hotel, which lacks even basic courtesy towards people and services, be five stars...
I don't want to recommend it to anyone. I'm still so upset that I want to boycott this place.

This Hotel is located in a great area for walking thru the historic part of Salamanca. Their lobby is beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The valet parking was convenient. However we were very disappointed on several things. Our room was decent size but with the angled roof line it cut walking area down. We had no windows. Just 2 small ceiling glass panels for daylight. No fresh air available. We booked this hotel because of the michelin star restaurant. Except on a tuesday it was closed. What? This is the hospitality business plus a 5 star property and the restaurant is closed??!! That is absurd and not done in this business at this level. Room service brought wrong food and basically shrugged it off. We went to breakfast and we paid extra for inclusion of "superb breakfast" in room price.. But was charged extra upon check-out. The food my husband ordered at breakfast was literaly inedible. Servers made no inquirey if there was anything wrong which there clearly was.
We booked spa services. It was the worst facial he or I ever had. I`m not sure if the person was actually an esthetician. Most distressing. I had to go afterwards to moisturize because my skin was so dry. The spa room was noisy, sounded like a vacumn running right outside the door. Not relaxing nor rejuvenating at all. For the cost to stay here we expect a certain level of accomodation. Upon check out the front desk did not even inquire how our stay was....

Great unique boutique hotel right in the middle of everything. Michelin restaurant inside. The bathroom is ridiculously loaded for luxery...5 star service and staff

Beautiful hotel. Very oldly worldly and within walking access to everything. Quaint, old but modernized. You will love it!
