The environment is average, the facilities are old, it's hard to believe it's a four-star hotel.
It's very close to the new main cathedral of Salamaca, and there's a supermarket next to it, which is convenient.
But the hotel is average, the front desk service attitude is also average, oh, there's no kettle! There's no hot water if you want it, and there's no business desk.
The room is average and cheap. It was a bit cold when I went there. The air conditioning was not good enough and there was no kettle.
Room was wonderful met all of our needs
Hotel close to the center, 10 minutes walk, large and somewhat dated. Each floor is a huge hallway with the rooms on one side. Something cold and impersonal. Good price and good service.
Good location and nice rooms, can easily access the city
The hotel is within walking distance of the city center, and there is an M supermarket downstairs. It is very convenient for shopping and eating, and the service is attentive - an accessible room was specially arranged because of the mobility difficulties of my companions. There is an underground parking lot for 12 euros per day.

Salamanca, Paseo Rector Esperabe, 10 🧭 Map
One of the best hotels we've stayed in. Just 14 rooms in a beautifully decorated building just outside the city walls of this attractive city. The service was attentive and friendly. Breakfast delicious.
Just finished up a magical stay in Salamanca and Hotel Rector was superb. One of the best hotel experiences we've had, and thats saying something. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling here looki g to be pampered. Amazing staff, qauint quarters, quiet intimate setting, and good breakfast. Loved the small notes and touches/surprise gifts during turn down. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Our stay at the Hotel Rector was outstanding. Even before arrival, the hotel messaged me to ensure the temperature of our room would be to our liking. We were immediately greeted by Carlos and Ignacio, who proceeded to care for all our needs and anticipated them even before us. The hotel is pristine and beautifully decorated with both modern and older works of art. Indeed, the art even extends into...
I visited Hotel Rector last night, and whilst it was a brief visit to Salamanca, I’ll definitely be back and will be staying here again.
Ignacio and Carlos and Roberto, and the rest of the hotel team, offer an incredible welcome and it’s clear they make every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable. (I received a WhatsApp on the morning of check-in informing me of local weather conditions and the...
From the moment arrived we were blown away. The personalized service was unmatched by the extremely friendly staff. They assisted with recommendations around the city, making reservations and arranging transportation to the train station. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Salamanca with everything being just a short walk away. Cannot wait to stay with them again soon!
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Excellent location on the edge of the old city. Rooms are delightful but most of all, the staff are fantastic- always looking to make your stay perfect. If this hotel fits your budget you should definitely stay there.

Salamanca, Teso de la Feria, 2 🧭 Map
A lovely place to stay with excellent facilities, overlooking the beautiful city of Salamanca, just a short walk down then over the Roman Bridge. Plenty safe parking and the restaurant menu looked good, though we don’t eat there. My only criticism would be the couple of surly, inattentive staff in the bar in the early evening.
The hotel is a Spanish state-owned chain. The room is super large, and there is a small door leading directly to the Roman bridge and the ancient city. The breakfast is very delicious. The lady Alexandra is warm and cute, and works very efficiently! ! The quality of lunch is also very good and worth tasting!
The location is great,
The view of the cathedral from the room is amazing.
The breakfast is also great, and the Roman Bridge is nearby, so it's great for a walk.
Nice hitel, beautiful location tiv historical center. A bit of a climb but then you have something.
The location is very good, close to several major attractions. And the scenery of the hotel lobby is very good. Facing the ancient city directly. The night view is amazing. The restaurant is also very good and the price is not expensive.
It is outside the old town, facing the Roman bridge, and you can walk to the old town. There is a large garden, the swimming pool has low water temperature, the breakfast is rich, and the rooms are relatively large. Compared with other national hotels, this one is not too quaint and is suitable for vacation.

Salamanca, Plaza Chica, 10 🧭 Map
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location, yes some of the décor might be a little dated but that adds to the charm, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the secure car park for 11 euros was great as i was on a motorcycle, I stayed in air BNB 2 months ago which cost 300 euros a night and was not a touch on this hotel. So excellent value for money and the breakfast was typical for this region.
Great location being next to the Roman Bridge, so a 15-20 mins walk into the old town. It's a climb once across the bridge but other than that it's manageable for all. The room was fine (RM 208) although no USB charging points. Shower over bath was good, hot water and strong jet. There is a pool and outside area but that was being refurbished. We found free on street parking outside the hotel but...
The hotel, though old, was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and it had a small balcony. Overall, the environment was comfortable.
Perfect edge of centre visit
We had a warm welcome and were very comfortable for two nights
No tissues, no hot water bottle. The front desk closes at 11pm and you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel. The scenic spot is just across the bridge, and there is free parking next to it. The room is old, but clean.
Friendly staff on reception.

Location offers an amazing view of the cathedral. Quiet area, away from main tourist area but close enough for an easy walk. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were very attentive and helpful.
A great hotel in lovely surroundings. All the staff are really friendly and eager to help. The lady working the bar obviously has many jobs as she kept disappearing but this did not prevent her providing wonderful service.
Very friendly staff, very clean room, good location, I will definitely return.
The room facilities are complete and the service is in place. I am very satisfied.
Central, clean and beautiful hotel. The workers are friendly and help you with everything. It has private parking that does not need to be reserved in advance, it is good although the entrance is a little hidden and it is difficult to find it.
We only spent one night there but we really liked it. We will return for sure.
I was in a study visit at Salamanca University at stay at ABBA hotel for four nights. Everything was amazing! Parking is very convenient and the hotel price is relatively moderate. It is very suitable for tour guides or friends who drive themselves. It is a little far from the city center. If there is a traffic jam, it takes 40 minutes to get to the city center.
Located 15 minutes walk from the city center, the very quiet hotel with old-fashioned charm is a good address. The room is very large, the bed kingsize, beautiful bathroom. The hotel has free underground parking. The breakfast is very varied and complete with a wide choice, only quality products. The only downside is the mattress a little hard. Possibility of lunch and dinner in the large restaurant...
Everything is OK except for room window aluminium Louvre creating sound when wind blows distracting my sleeps. Free parking.
A very basic hotel for a 4-star hotel. Far from the centre, rooms that are quite old, noisy spring mattresses, and a decent breakfast, but without top quality products.
Good price and good Hotel. Breakfast is very good.

Overall, my experience was positive. The facilities are well maintained and the room was comfortable. It's a property that delivers on its promise and I would recommend it for a hassle-free stay.
We stayed at this hotel by chance when we visited Salamanca. It really surprised me. The room facilities were very good, the breakfast was also good. The service staff was very friendly.
CLEAN and quiet. Walking distance to Roman bridge which is a good starting point to visit historical center. Friendly staff. Paid parking at a reasonable price. There are also free parking option on streets around the hotel. Receptionist Sara helped us with local food suggestions and places. And, there is also a free and very detailed city guide at the hotel for customers.

Clean and comfortable, staff called taxi for us, very close to Roman walk bridge, great views. But no evening restaurant, but many in walking distance. Would have enjoyed more outdoor space.

Location was good but the hotel is a little tired inside and could do with some updates. We did not try the restaurant so can't comment on food. They offer free electric car charging but the charging area is impossible to access as it is packed with delivery trucks and other vehicles. Very poorly thought out.
Excellent hotel location with wonderful staff!

We stayed at Hotel Eurostars Las Claras recently. Having flown internationally and then driven in from Madrid, this hotel was a pleasant first night stop in Spain.

Reception staff were always pleasant and informative with all our questions.
The room was clean...
a hotel located near all the tourist attractions that you can visit on foot, with friendly staff who will solve any problem you encounter, with a roomy and welcoming junior suite, a tasty breakfast and the idea of parking cars using the elevator to the garage is great and useful considering that the streets around the hotel are narrow and the parking spaces are for locals. Good job!
Great quiete location. Not to far and not too near the places of interests so it’s perfect. There’s also a 24 hour coffee and snacks place near the hotel.
Salamanca is amazing. Unfortunately we spent only one day here. This hotel is located near some of the points of interest in a little street. But the rooms are simply spectacular, the size, the bathroom, the furniture. Although it is obviously an old building, everything is well kept and maintained, so it looks like new. The food at breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent.

Though this venerable edifice parades beneath the proud banner of five stars, I daresay that, in the realm of service, it scarcely ascends beyond a modest three. The premises themselves are undeniably singular—steeped in history and draped in architectural grace—yet they lack the comfort one might reasonably expect from such noble surroundings. To reach one’s chamber requires negotiating a most labyrinthine...

Our stay at Artheus Carmelita’s Salamanca was wonderful ! The hotel is very charming and inviting. The decor is eclectic with an old world charm. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the lovely dining room was beautifully layed out and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Part of a group tour. Smaller charming hotel near the major attractions. Use your plate at breakfast for your breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who don’t speak English but Google

The room was very clean and had a unique design.
Great Hotel, Very Clean, and central AC, which was very important in that it kept the room very comfortable during a heat wave. Everything was great at this hotel, except the bed. Bad entry but great hotel.
The situation of the hotel is perfect seconds from the main square. The staff are excellent. The steps were extremely difficult and my wife struggled a great deal. We just happened to be there on the last night of a week long celebration of concerts. ‘Europe’ were fantastic and having keys to the hotel got us priority entry. Would definitely return in the future.
The place was great. The host was very helpful in getting us settled. Very close to everything. Perfect.
Location was great - just off the plaza mayor for shopping and food options plus walking distance to all the sights of the city. Room was small but clean. Parking spaces are small and the car is only accessible if an employee goes with you to the nearby parking garage. Expedia/whatsapp messages were in Spanish and English, but in person, Spanish was the only option.
This was a very simple room but the price was very agreeable, the property clean and recently renovated. Steps from Plaza Mayor where we spent a lot of time. Refrigerator available in the room which is nice. Next door a very nice cafe bakery for breakfast. If you want to be economic, this is a good choice of place.

The location is amazing just steps from plaza mayor and all other sightseeing places in town, the ladies in the front desk are friendly and helpful, but I didn’t like that my room was in the fourth floor with no elevator even it’s said in the description of the hotel, they didn’t mention that the hotel has two buildings one with elevator and the other has not ,, and that bad from them...

Although the facilities are a bit outdated, the location is very good. It is adjacent to the community park and is within walking distance of the old city. The surrounding area is quiet. The front desk service attitude is very good. They patiently answer questions and provide help, which makes travelers very happy.

The Hotel Alameda Palace in Salamanca is an old and very opulent hotel in the heart of the city. While most of the hotel is very beautiful and opulent, small things like door locks and lifts are not up to scratch. There are plenty of attentive staff and rooms are clean.
The Alameda Palace was a downhill, 11-minute walk from the station and, generally, offered a great location. Entering the lobby is like stepping into the Ritz Carlton: Lots of gleaming brass, deep red and black tones set the mood of an old-fashioned hotel, accented by chandeliers.
