Hotel is very good and clean, however the caffetera snd restruante leave slot to be desired. Menu for caffetera was very poor. I have stayed in 2 star hotels who's caffetera and restruante far outshines anythin that is on offer here. The proof is that in our time here we only saw 1other gentleman use the caffetera and 1 couple who ate in the restraunte. Says it all!!!

Stayed in this hotel in the early summer on our where to the UK. it was perfect for us. The room was ideal, large with a full bath. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. We arrived fairly late and tired so had room service. we ordered two meals then received only one after quite a wait. Our stay at Artheus Carmelita’s Salamanca was wonderful ! The hotel is very charming and inviting. The decor is eclectic with an old world charm. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the lovely dining room was beautifully layed out and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Part of a group tour. Smaller charming hotel near the major attractions. Use your plate at breakfast for your breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who don’t speak English but Google Translate works. Lovely university town. Didn’t like the velvet headboards due to potential dust mites and the whirlpool bath didn’t work.

Came for a conference a few weeks ago, and this was a great home base. While they are renovating and there's dust on many surfaces, the staff is doing a great job to manage it, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again!

I'm only posting because reception charged us more than their online price, and booking .coms price!! Bar staff totally over worked,making it difficult to get service! Lights not working to the rooms! 4 star🤩 with cheap looking furniture in the lobby! And sat next to the motorway on an industrial estate!!

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Excellent location on the edge of the old city. Rooms are delightful but most of all, the staff are fantastic- always looking to make your stay perfect. If this hotel fits your budget you should definitely stay there.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Rector for three nights. The accommodation is excellent and the staff are exceptional. The breakfast was very good and the dining recommendations could not have been bettered. The location is ideal for visiting this wonderful city. Right next to the cathedral and 1 min from the Museo of Art Nouveau (Casa Lis)! The only hotel that offer such a perfect location, very good quality/price ratio. They offered a breakfast buffet at 10.90 euros, option that we took. Was excellent and offered many choice. Highly recommended.

Service is nice , rooms are terrible as not clean, they charged 33$ for an extra bed, plus the 70$ of the room I think that is excessive for that kind of hotel. Is an ,4 star but should be 2 honestly thinking.

Really nice hotel in the town with great parking. Salamanca is wonderful and the hotel was well placed to see it all. Great room and bathroom and all at a great price. Visit the two cathedrals and the museum and of course the wonderful selection of restaurants.

A very old but renovated hotel in good location. Within walking distance to shopping area. The only less impressive was the buffet breakfast and only a few choices.

This is an Italianate inspired hotel with acres of marble and mirrors. Everywhere you look are reproductions of old masters and in each room and the hallways are pieces of reproduction furniture, chests of drawers and desks. Great location with easy parking. Our suite was large and very well presented with views over the city. Bathroom was very spacious with good shower, double sinks and jacuzzi bath. The only negative was the air con refused to work!

The reason for giving the room a 2 star is because the bed is tiny for two average sized people and terribly uncomfortable, the pillows are bad too! The hotel is really impressive so why not upgrade to new beds and pillows?

Elegant hotel a 12 minute level walk from Salamanca railway station. The lobby is welcoming and beautiful with period furniture, as was our spacious room. Everything sparkles and shines and it felt very luxurious. Lots of amenities in the bathroom including shaver, comb and toothbrushes. It is a good 20 minute walk to the main sights but along pedestrianised streets with lots to see on the way.

Superb location! You get what you paying for, we loved it, nice small room, bathroom could do with some love but met our expectations for its price. We had our big size dog with us and they were super friendly and accomodating. Can only recommend it!

This is a no frills hotel which is very clean within 10 minutes walking to the centre of Salamanca. There is parking outside the hotel or in a secure underground car park for 10 Euros extra. The room rates are very good and they provide breakfast at an extra cost. The rooms are basic but adequate and good value for the price.

In Hotel you need same ear plugs at night if you have noisy neighbour's. I hour everything what they say. Its crazy.

With free overnight parking, right at the city center, March 2019, they charged 30 euros with breakfast in Salamanca here. Very pleased. In a very tiny shower, they outfitted a car wash type shower with 20 nozzles for different parts of the body, brilliant.

We had a 2 night stay and were treated with great hospitality. Upon arrival we were given a map along with suggestions of where to visit and local tapas bars to enjoy local cuisine. Room was clean and comfortable.

It is about eight or nine hundred meters walk from the scenic spots in the center of the old city. It has its own underground parking lot, which costs 10 euros a day. However, the space is limited and narrow, and it will test your skills when the parking lot is full. (There is also parking on the roadside at the door, no need to pay, but it is not clear whether it is safe and compliant, and it is difficult...
