Reyes Catolicos in Seville

I would not recommend this apartment. We arrived around midnight and discovered that we had been given the wrong code to the safe containing the key. We spent two hours trying to contact the property, but no one answered. In the middle of the night, we had to find another hotel to stay in. It was a very stressful and unpleasant experience.

I spent a long weekend in November with my wife; the choice went on this hotel, let's be honest, because of availability and location. It is an old structure requiring maintainance, on the major aspects rather than on the details. For example, the beds are (in my opinion) extremely comfortable, you have elctricity and USB charging points next to the bed, and there is a safe in the cabinet. There is not a fridge in the room. The bathroom in my room requires a complete restyling. Old, not well maintained, not user friendly if you have a certain age (no shower, but baththat you must climb in and out). I will never understand why certain hotels have baththubs... Hair dryier is included. There was a strange and strong smell at the entrance and in the common ara. Not in the bedrooms. We did not go for the breakfast, hence no opinion on that: it was not included in our fee, and honestly for 8 EUR/person we decided to go to backeries for fresh pastries. Good point is that we could open the windows on a sort of french balcony (we were on the first floor). The scherms were not the best but did their job. The location is very good, being in between the touristic area/center and the "locals area" where you want to go for aperitives and dinner (unless you want to stay at touristic places...). In my opinion, it would need a little more effor to have a 3rd star.
