A totally relaxing week mid September we hardly needed to venture out from Vera Playa Club, enjoying a well appointed apartment in beautifully kept grounds, lovely big pool, plenty of sunbeds, excellent food and drink, friendly staff and great location right on the fabulous beach and blessed with sunshine everyday.

Just visited hotel for 17th time. We still love hotel but very disappointed that no longer offers all-inclusive which we loved. No idea why they have taken this action. We went half-board and still enjoyed ourselves. Hotel was painted internally in reception last year I think and now they are busy painting the outside. Hotel has charm of its own. People seem to love or hate it!

It is located about 100 km from Almeria airport on Vera beach. We had booked a suite which was very spacious overlooking pool and sea. There was jacuzzi in the room itself. The hotel had a lot of facilities like big pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, theatre, 2 restaurants and bars. The garden was kept very well. The beach outside was clean and big. Was here for 10 days with my kids and some family. Lovely hotel, apart from some guests wanting to sit on their balcony naked. The balconies are glass and can see everything 🙈. This is not allowed, go to the front office and explain what's going on. This is not a naturist hotel, they have a sister hotel further down the road for that. Nice 4 stars hotel. Very friendly staff, decent food and easy access to the, usually quiet, sandy beach. The location is irrelevant (fairly remote, which makes the beach with few people only), since the concept is such that leaving the hotel area is unnecessary. We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were awesome, food was great and varied, we're already working out when we can visit again. OK, so the entertainment was always in Spanish and the only thing we could appreciate was some great Flamenco dancing on one of the nights but we'd still revisit.

I was only here for 1 off season night's stay. Room was basic but relatively clean. No USB charging points but if you have your own cable you can charge from the TV. No coffee or tea facilities in room but there was a small fridge. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very close to the beach, 3 mins walk

Amazingly good value Spanish hotel, nice pools, entertainment for little ones and adults! However, very Spanish, which is no problem for us, but if you don't speak Spanish, it might not be for you.

Loved the apartment in a great location nice and quiet. Great location for walking as it is very flat terrain no hills. The only problem with the holiday was we were half board, you had breakfast in the restaurant on site but evening meal was in a different hotel over a mile away. Lovely location and plenty of places to eat, not overly too much for the kids to do unless you are willing to travel though

Breakfast here is some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The best coffee we’ve tried in Spain. Staff were all very welcoming. Positive atmosphere.

Hot air, cold water… Nice location and a great hotel. The problem was the water wouldn’t get hot and the A/C didn’t work despite alerting the front desk. The breakfast and service was top notch. We ended up leaving a day early. No refund for the last day. It worked for our needs, but the two most important factors were the water and air not working correctly.

The receptionist sits very low in her chair in an unlit corner and you cant always see if someone is in attendance. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. There is a full size fridge that my two half litre bottles of water looked very lonely in. There are no dining options other than breakfast, and although the shelves are well stocked with bottles of spirits, there is no bar outside of breakfast...

I've been coming to this hotel for the last 12 years and I have to say that this was the best stay ever. Postcard perfect hotel on a golf course! Very nice hotel with perfect setting on a golf course and close to Mojácar! Will certainly be back when we drive up to the south of Spain!

For the third time, we visited the Valle del Este Hotel, and once again, it was TOP-NOTCH. The outdoor area is well-maintained, the lobby is spacious and airy. Large rooms with a small refrigerator, a balcony with a table and chairs for two. The bathroom is perfectly equipped with a large shower, big bath towels, and smaller hand towels. I’m not usually a fan of dinner buffets, but this is an exception...

Excellent staff, room ready early. Rooms were clean and enough space. Food is buffet style but there was plenty of choice. Great terrace to watch the other golfers come in. Lovely pool area with sun beds. I recommend a stay here. Golf is on site so the car never moved for 3 days.

1 night stop over Good location to get to Desert Springs for the DP world golf event. Managed some practice on the putting green too. Only a 1 night stop over to watch the Q School.

Absolutely beautiful! Really pretty hotel, very Spanish, lovely decoration throughout the hotel. Room was nice with a balcony. Stayed here for one night while doing business at the Notary in Vera. Very central location. The added bonus is the restaurant and terraces, wow just fabulous! The most beautiful restaurant, very busy at lunch for the tapas, filled with locals & tourists, just spectacular....

Comfortable room and friendly and quick reception. Unfortunately the restaurant was shut on the Sunday I came for a private event which was very disappointing after an expectation of a delicious meal. I had a decent pizza elsewhere instead but had to hunt for it as Vera is quiet on a Sunday night.

Have eaten here a number of times and always enjoyed it immensely.
